האדם, שזהותו חסויה עד להודעת קרובי משפחתו, הוכרז כמת. האדם נצפה ליד השער הצפוני של הנכס במאר-א-לאגו כשהוא נושא מה שנראה כרובה ציד ומיכל דלק.

On February 22, around 1:30 a.m., a male in his early 20s was shot by U.S. Secret Service agents and a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO) following an unauthorized entry into the secure perimeter at Mar-a-Lago.

The individual, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced deceased. The individual was observed by the north gate of the Mar-a-Lago property carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and a fuel can.

U.S. Secret Service agents and a PBSO deputy confronted the individual and shots were fired by law enforcement during the encounter. No U.S. Secret Service or PBSO personnel were injured. There were no Secret Service protectees present at the location at the time of the incident.

The incident, including the individual's background, actions, potential motive, and the use of force, is under investigation by the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. In accordance with agency policy, the involved Secret Service agents will be placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Iran agreed to a confidential €500 million arms agreement with Russia to purchase thousands of advanced shoulder-launched air defense missiles, according to the Financial Times.

According to leaked Russian documents seen by FT, the deal, signed in Moscow in December, provides for the delivery of 500 man-portable "Verba" launch systems and 2,500 "9M336" missiles over a three-year period.

The Verba system, one of Russia’s most modern MANPADS, can target drones, cruise missiles and low-flying aircraft, offering Iran more mobile air defence capabilities.

Right now we are only negotiating the nuclear [program], and there is no other subject.

Enrichment is our right. We are a member of the NPT, and we have every right to enjoy peaceful nuclear energy, including enrichment.

How we use this right is something related to us only. The enrichment is a sensitive part of our negotiation.

The American team knows our position. We know their position, and we have already exchanged our concerns. And I think a solution is achievable, but I'm not going to negotiate through media.
