Epstein’s sex empire may have been a KGB honey trap.
The release of more than three million new documents relating to the sex offender confirms claims by senior security officials that Epstein acted in Moscow’s interests by arranging meetings for some of the world’s most powerful people. US security officials also believe that Epstein had long-standing ties to Russian organised crime, which could have been used to blackmail him. This could explain the apparent ease with which Epstein was able to fly girls out of Russia, the newspaper writes, citing files released from the Epstein case that suggest a Krasnodar modelling agency, among others, was also involved in procuring girls for him. Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and the rest are all involved in precarious situations on the tech-rich island. It is the world’s biggest honey trap operation, a source told the publication. In 2021, investigative journalist Craig Unger's book also alleged that Epstein relied on Russian pimps to provide him with girls. Unger believes that the FSB - the successor to the KGB - may have obtained incriminating material from numerous videotapes that Epstein reportedly filmed of his famous friends and these girls.
