בפעילות לילית בחטיבת אפרים: מסתערבי מג״ב איו״ש עצרו מחבל שבכוונתו היה לבצע פיגוע
השבוע (ד׳) בשעת לילה, מסתערבי מג"ב איו"ש פעלו תחת חטיבת אפרים ובהכוונת השב״כ במרחב ׳טולכרם׳ , למעצר המחבל חדר שחאדה שעל פי אינדיקציה מודיעינית בכוונתו היה לבצע פיגוע.

המסתערבים נכנסו למרחב הכפר בצורה מסוערבת ובפריקת כוחות גלויים שסגרו על המבנה בו על פי החשד, נמצא החשוד.

לאחר הסגירה על המבנה החשוד ניסה להמלט החוצה, הכוח הגיב בירי לעבר המחבל וזוהתה פגיעה בפלג גופו התחתון. המחבל נעצר והועבר להמשך חקירה בשב״כ.

Police Spokesperson: Incited Online and Arrested.

A Palestinian religious figure was arrested during the night while asleep after his inflammatory social media posts — including calls for the destruction of the State of Israel — were identified by IDF Central Command intelligence. The suspect was transferred for police interrogation.

Later that same night, officers from the YASSAM task force raided the home of the religious figure (an imam) in Hebron, who is identified with the Hamas terrorist organization and is suspected of involvement in and incitement of terrorist attacks against the State of Israel.

During intelligence gathering, IDF intelligence discovered that in recent months the suspect had posted calls and encouragement to carry out terrorist acts and to destroy the State of Israel, as well as praise for Hamas spokesman Obeida, who was killed by the IDF during Operation “Swords of Iron” — a death the suspect claimed was a sacred martyrdom.

The detainee, a Palestinian resident of Hebron in his 30s, was transferred for questioning at the Hebron police station on suspicion of offenses related to security disturbances, expressing solidarity with a terrorist organization, incitement, and support for a terrorist organization. Following the interrogation, he was remanded into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.

The American guided-missile destroyer USS D. Black arrived today off the coast of Eilat.

According to documentation from January 25, the vessel was previously spotted off the coast of Greece, where it was reportedly loaded with Tomahawk long-range cruise missiles as well as air-defense missiles.

Within five days, the destroyer sailed from Greece, transited the Suez Canal, entered the Red Sea, and proceeded south until reaching the waters off Eilat.
