המשטר האיראני פרסם כי מספר ההרוגים על פי נתונים רשמיים, 3,117 בני אדם נהרגו בהפגנות. מתוכם, 2,427 היו אזרחים וכוחות הביטחון. ההרוגים הנותרים סווגו על ידי המשטר כ"טרוריסטים ומורדים חמושים".
כלי התקשורת האיראניים פרסמו סרטונים המציגים מפגינים שורפים מסגדים, מבני מנהלה, משרדי משרד הפנים ומתקני ממשלה אחרים. חלק מהצילומים נראים גם אנשים לא מזוהים מחלקים נשק למפגינים.

The Iranian regime has announced that the death toll according to official figures is 3,117 people killed in the protests. Of these, 2,427 were civilians and security forces. The remaining dead were classified by the regime as "terrorists and armed rebels".
Iranian media outlets have released videos showing protesters burning mosques, administrative buildings, Interior Ministry offices and other government facilities. Some of the footage also shows unidentified people handing out weapons to protesters.
