The Iranian Foreign Minister will not be attending Davos.

Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator, in a post on X compared inviting Iran’s foreign minister Araqchi to the World Economic Forum in Davos after the massacre of protesters in Iran to inviting Hitler after the so-called "Kristallnacht" attack by the Nazis on Jews in Germany and Austria in November 1938.
Senator Graham wrote:

Inviting the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic to speak under such circumstances is like inviting Hitler to a global event after Kristallnacht. This decision is a new level of indifference and ignorance."
He addressed the organizers of the Davos meeting: "Do you even know what you are thinking? There is no worse message that can be sent to the protesters in Iran.

Graham emphasized that Trump did the right thing by encouraging the people of Iran to continue protesting, writing:

European elites have lost their moral compass. This is the strongest sign of moral decay; decay among those who themselves enjoy freedom and abandon those who fight for it.
