רשויות הביטחון הלבנוניות אומרות כי חקירת היעלמותו של קצין הביטחון הכללי הלבנוני בדימוס, אחמד שוכר, בשבוע שעבר, מצביעה על חשד למבצע של המוסד הישראלי, כאשר גורמים רשמיים מאמינים כי המקרה קשור למאמצי ישראל ארוכי הטווח לחשוף את גורלו של רון ארד, שנעלם בלבנון בשנת 1986.

על פי מקורות ביטחון, שוכר פותה לכאורה מכפר הולדתו נבי צ'יט בבקעת הלבנון להרי זחלה, שם נחטף, כאשר צילומי מעקב ונתוני תקשורת מצביעים על מעורבותם של שני אזרחים שוודים, מהם אחד ממוצא לבנוני. שניהם נכנסו ללבנון ימים קודם לכן, ולאחר מכן אחד נמלט מהמדינה ביום החטיפה. השני לא עבר דרך מעברי גבול רשמיים, כך שייתכן שהוא עדיין נמצא בלבנון או שייתכן שעזב את המדינה באופן בלתי חוקי.

Lebanese security authorities say that an investigation into the disappearance of retired Lebanese General Security officer Ahmad Shukr last week, points to a suspected Israeli Mossad operation, with officials believing the case is linked to Israel’s long-running efforts to uncover the fate of Ron Arad, who disappeared in Lebanon in 1986.

According to security sources, Shukr was allegedly lured from his home village of Nabi Chit in the Bekaa Valley to the Zahle highlands, where he was abducted, with surveillance footage and communications data indicating the involvement of two Swedish nationals, from which one of Lebanese origin. Both entered Lebanon days earlier, then one fled the country the day of the abduction. The other did not pass through official border crossings, so he may still be in Lebanon or may have left the country illegally.

Investigators believe additional accomplices may have assisted, and note that Shukr is a relative of senior Hezbollah figure Fouad Shukr, who was killed by Israel in 2024.

Ron Arad was an Israeli Air Force weapon systems officer (WSO) who has officially been classified as missing in action since October 1986 when his aircraft was shot down over southern Lebanon during a mission against PLO targets, after which he was captured by the Shiite Amal militia and later handed over to Hezbollah.

While initial proof of life was received in the late 1980s, Arad subsequently disappeared, and his fate remains unknown despite decades of Israeli intelligence operations, negotiations, and international efforts to determine whether he was killed, transferred to other groups, or secretly held. His case has become one of Israel’s most enduring national mysteries and a symbol of the country’s commitment to recovering missing soldiers.

Eight pro-Palestinian activists, who have been detained in Britain for about a year after their organization caused millions in damage to the Palestine Action base, the British Air Force, and the Israeli Elbit factory, are about to die in prison.

The eight have been on hunger strike since November, demanding their release and the closure of factories that produce weapons for Israel.

I see dying for Palestine Action as a death worth it

The IDF Struck Hezbollah🌟 Launch Sites in Southern Lebanon

A short while ago, the IDF struck several launching sites of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in several areas in southern Lebanon.

As part of these strikes, the IDF dismantled Hezbollah military structures and additional terrorist infrastructure from which Hezbollah terrorists had recently operated.

The presence of these launching sites constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat against the State of Israel and to prevent reestablishment attempts of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
