The IDF will soon attack Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure throughout southern Lebanon to counter Hezbollah's prohibited attempts to rebuild its activities in the area.

We urge residents of the buildings marked in red on the attached maps and adjacent buildings in the following two villages:

Majdal
Barashit

You are located near buildings used by Hezbollah. For your safety, you must evacuate them immediately and move at least 300 meters away.

כוחות צה"ל חיסלו את מג"ד מזרח רפיח, סגנו ומפקד פלוגה בארגון הטרור חמאס בעת שניסו להימלט מתשתית הטרור התת-קרקעית

בתחילת השבוע (א'), כוחות אוגדת עזה (143) וחיל האוויר חיסלו ארבעה מחבלים אשר יצאו מתוואי תת-קרקעי במרחב תשתית הטרור התת-קרקעית של ארגון הטרור חמאס במזרח רפיח.

חיסולם התבצע בזכות פעילות ממושכת וממוקדת של צה״ל ושב״כ במרחב רפיח באמצעות כוחות צוות הקרב החטיבתי הנח"ל וגולני בשיתוף לוחמי יהל״ם ולאחר פעילות מודיעינית מאומצת של חקירות והכוונה של שב"כ במרחב.

לאחר פיענוח מודיעיני, כעת ניתן לאשר כי חוסלו מג"ד מזרח רפיח, סגנו ומחבלים נוספים בארגון הטרור חמאס:
* מחמד ג'ואד מחמד אלבואב - מפקד גדוד מזרח רפיח בארגון הטרור חמאס אשר ניהל את תכנון פשיטת מחבלי הגדוד לדרום הנגב המערבי במסגרת הטבח הרצחני ב-7 באוקטובר. המחבל הוביל מתווי טרור נגד כוחות צה״ל לאורך המלחמה.
* אסמאעיל כנאן עבד אלחי אבו-לבדה - סגן מפקד גדוד מזרח רפיח בארגון הטרור חמאס אשר ניהל את תכנון פשיטת מחבלי הגדוד לדרום הנגב המערבי במסגרת הטבח הרצחני ב-7 באוקטובר.
* עבדאללה ע'אזי אחמד חמד - מחבל בארגון הטרור חמאס בגדוד מזרח רפיח, שתפקד כמאבטח בחוליית מג"ד מזרח רפיח. המחבל הוא בנו של ראזי חמד, בכיר בלשכה המדינית של ארגון הטרור חמאס.
* תופיק חאלד תופיק סאלם - מפקד פלוגה מרחבי בגדוד מזרח רפיח של ארגון הטרור חמאס.

במסגרת הפעילות מאז כניסת הסכם הפסקת האש לתוקף, הכוחות מכתרים את המרחב ומשמידים תשתיות טרור מעל ומתחת לקרקע בסיוע אווירי של חיל האוויר.
עד כה צה"ל ושב"כ חיסלו יותר מ-40 מחבלים במרחב תשתית הטרור התת-קרקעית במזרח רפיח.

כוחות צה"ל בפיקוד הדרום פרוסים במרחב בהתאם להסכם וימשיכו לפעול להסרת כל איום מיידי.

Commander of Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion, Along With His Deputy and Inner Circle Were Eliminated While Attempting To Flee the Underground Terror Infrastructure

Earlier this week (Sunday), IDF troops eliminated four terrorists who exited from an underground infrastructure within the area of the Hamas underground terror infrastructure in eastern Rafah.

The elimination of the terrorists was possible due to the consistent and precise activity of IDF and ISA forces in the area of Rafah, and following extensive intelligence activities, including questioning and guidance conducted by the ISA in the area.

Following an intelligence analysis, it is now confirmed that the commander of Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion, his deputy commander, and other Hamas terrorists were eliminated, including:

* Muhammad Jawad Muhammad al-Bawab – Commander of Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion, who oversaw the planning of the infiltration of the battalion’s terrorists into communities in the southern Negev during the October 7th brutal massacre. The terrorist advanced terror attacks against IDF troops throughout the war.
* Ismail Kanaan Abd al-Hay Abu Labdeh – Deputy Commander of Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion, who oversaw the planning of the infiltration of the battalion’s terrorists into communities in the southern Negev during the October 7th massacre.
* Abdullah Azi Ahmed Hamad – a terrorist in Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion who operated as a security guard within the battalion commander’s inner circle. The terrorist was the son of Ghazi Hamad, a senior member of the Hamas Political Bureau.
* Tawfiq Khaled Tawfiq Salem – Commander of a regional platoon in Hamas’ Eastern Rafah Battalion.

As part of the troops’ activity since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, the troops are securing the area and dismantling terror infrastructure above and below ground.

So far, the IDF and ISA have eliminated more than 40 terrorists in the area of the underground terror infrastructure in eastern Rafah.

IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
