מוקדם יותר היום (ש'), מחבל חמוש חצה את הקו הצהוב, תוך שימוש וניצול ציני של הציר ההומניטרי דרכו נכנס סיוע הומניטרי למרחב דרום הרצועה. המחבל ביצע ירי לעבר כוחות צה"ל הפרוסים בדרום רצועת עזה, ללא נפגעים. מיד לאחר הזיהוי, כוחות החטיבה הדרומית ירו וחיסלו את המחבל.

מדובר בהפרה בוטה של הסכם הפסקת האש.

בתגובה לכך, צה"ל בהובלת פיקוד הדרום, בהכוונת אמ"ן ושב"כ ובאמצעות חיל האוויר החל לתקוף מטרות של ארגון הטרור חמאס ברחבי רצועת עזה.

כוחות צה"ל בפיקוד הדרום פרוסים במרחב בהתאם להסכם וימשיכו לפעול להסרת כל איום מיידי.

Another Violation of the Ceasefire Agreement: An Armed Terrorist Crossed the Yellow Line on a Humanitarian Route, Fired at IDF Soldiers - And Was Eliminated

Earlier today (Saturday), an armed terrorist crossed the yellow line, exploiting the humanitarian road in the area through which humanitarian aid enters southern Gaza. במסגרת תפקידו היה אמון על הקשר בין הארגון לבין תושבי הכפר בנושאים צבאיים וכלכליים. כמו כן, פעל להשתלטות על נכסים פרטיים לצרכי טרור.

פעולותיהם של המחבלים היוו הפרה של ההבנות בין ישראל ללבנון.

צה״ל ימשיך לפעול על מנת להסיר כל איום ולהגן על מדינת ישראל.

מוחמד סאלח, שנכלא בכלא חיאם בדרום לבנון למשך 12 שנים בזמן שהכלא היה תחת שליטת ישראל, חוסל.
בשנת 2000, עם נסיגת ישראל מדרום לבנון, שוחרר סאלח מהכלא.
