Earlier today (Saturday), the IDF struck in the area of Jibchit in southern Lebanon, and eliminated the terrorist Zayn al-Abidin Hussein Fatouni, a commander in the anti-tank unit of the Radwan Force Battalion of the #Hezbollah🌟 terror organization.

Recently, the terrorist was involved in efforts to reestablish Hezbollah’s terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon. His activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF will continue to operate in order to remove any threat posed to the State of Israel.

צה"ל תקף וחיסל מוקדם יותר היום (ש'), בהובלת פיקוד הצפון ובאמצעות כלי טיס של חיל האוויר, במרחב ג'בשית שבדרום לבנון את המחבל זין אלעאבדין חסין פתוני, מפקד במערך הנ"ט של גדוד ב'כוח רדואן' של ארגון הטרור חיזבאללה.

בתקופה האחרונה המחבל עסק בניסיונות שיקום של תשתיות טרור של חיזבאללה בדרום לבנון, פעילותיו של המחבל היוו הפרה של ההבנות בין ישראל ללבנון.

צה"ל ימשיך לפעול על מנת להסיר כל איום על מדינת ישראל.
