The 91st Division Completed the Largest Exercise Since the Beginning of the War Aimed at Enhancing Operational Readiness for Defense and Offense Along the Lebanon Border - At Sea, in the Air, and on Land

Last night (Thursday), the IDF completed a five-day intensive divisional exercise led by the 91st Division and the National Ground Training Center along the Lebanon border.

The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen readiness for extreme defense scenarios, ensure a rapid response to emerging incidents - including reserve troops mobilization and force buildup - and transition to offensive operations, all while applying lessons learned from two years of fighting across multiple arenas.
The exercise scenarios were adapted to the current operational situation following the combat in southern Lebanon, during which the operational capabilities of the Hezbollah terrorist organization were damaged.

The exercise included practicing cooperation between troops carrying out defensive missions in the sector, the Israeli Air Force, and the Israeli Navy, as well as coordination with local councils and other security forces - Israel Fire and Rescue Services, Magen David Adom, and the Israel Police.

Additionally, logistics, medical, and technology and maintenance units trained in scenarios involving the evacuation of injured troops under fire and providing logistical, maintenance, and technological support in emergencies.

The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel while maintaining preparedness for a range of scenarios, preserving readiness, and validating its operational plans.

אמש (ה׳) הושלם תרגיל אוגדתי עצים בן חמישה ימים של כוחות צה"ל, בפיקוד אוגדה 91 ובהובלת המרכז הלאומי לאימונים ביבשה במרחב גבול לבנון.

מטרת התרגיל נועדה להגביר מוכנות לתרחישי קיצון בהגנה, לתת מענה מהיר לאירועים מתפרצים, כולל גיוס מילואים וצבירת כוחות, מעבר להתקפה וכל זאת תוך הפקת לקחים ומסקנות משנתיים של לחימה בכלל הזירות.
תרחישי התרגיל הותאמו למצב המבצעי לאחר לחימה בדרום לבנון, במהלכה נפגעו היכולות המבצעיות של ארגון הטרור חיזבאללה.

התרחישים כללו תרגול שיתוף הפעולה בין הלוחמים שנמצאים במשימת ההגנה בגזרה, חיל האוויר וחיל הים, בנוסף למחלקות ההגנה, המועצות המקומיות וכוחות הביטחון המקבילים - כב״א, מד״א ומשטרה.

כמו כן, תרגלו כוחות לוגיסטיקה, רפואה וטכנולוגיה ואחזקה, בתרחישי פינוי פצועים תחת אש ומתן מענה לוגיסטי, אחזקתי וטכנולוגי בחירום.

צה״ל ימשיך לפעול להסרת כל איום על מדינת ישראל ובמקביל ימשיך להיערך למגוון תרחישים, לשמור על כשירות ולתקף את התכניות המבצעיות.

Earlier today (Friday), the IDF struck and eliminated the logistics commander of #Hezbollah🌟 ’s Southern Front headquarters, Abbas Hassan Karky, in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon.

In recent months, Abbas led efforts to rebuild Hezbollah’s combat capabilities and assisted in the reestablishment of terrorist infrastructure that had been dismantled during the war, particularly during Operation “Northern Arrows,” south of the Litani River.

He was also responsible for reestablishing the organization’s force structure and for managing the transfer and storage of weapons in southern Lebanon. Over the past few years, the terrorist had held several positions within the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

The terrorist's activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The IDF will continue to operate in order to remove any threat posed to the State of Israel.
