A short while ago, during IDF troops’ operational activity in the Tubas area, a terrorist threw an explosive at the troops.

As a result of the explosive’s detonation, two IDF soldiers were moderately injured and evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment. Their families have been notified.

IDF Troops Thwarted Weapons Smuggling in the Hermon Summit Area

During an overnight activity (Friday) of IDF troops and Unit 504, several suspects who attempted to smuggle weapons from Syrian territory to Lebanon were apprehended in the Hermon summit area.

The troops apprehended the suspects who attempted to smuggle grenades, guns, anti-tank rockets, and ammunition.
The suspects were transferred for questioning, and the weapons were confiscated.

IDF troops continue to be deployed in the area in order to protect Israeli civilians and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular.

במסגרת פעילות לילית (ו׳) של חטיבת ׳ההרים׳ (810) בשיתוף יחידה 504, נעצרו מספר חשודים שניסו להבריח אמצעי לחימה משטח סוריה לשטח לבנון במרחב כתר החרמון.

הכוחות עצרו את החשודים שניסו להבריח רימונים, אקדחים, רקטות נ״ט ותחמושת.
החשודים הועברו לחקירה וכלל אמצעי הלחימה הוחרמו.

כוחות צה"ל ממשיכים להיות פרוסים במרחב על מנת להגן על ביטחון אזרחי מדינת ישראל ותושבי רמת הגולן בפרט.
