Two minors, aged 15 and 17, have been arrested in Paris and charged with conspiracy to commit criminal #terrorism in connection with a plot to attack a synagogue and the Eiffel Tower.

Both of them are Arab-Muslim origin, were born in Val-de-Marne and Paris in 2010 and 2008. Authorities say they underwent a “radicalization process” through closed online groups that spread #ISIS propaganda and expressed admiration for the ideology.

Investigators believe the pair attempted to obtain weapons on the darknet to carry out their plans, which were motivated by anti-Semitic beliefs and the symbolic value of the Eiffel Tower (a symbol of power).

Investigators determined that the two terrorists are refugee children in France and had visited the same mosque in Paris.
