Building Wealth vs Being Rich: The Difference
I've recently picked up 2 easy reads (Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel) and (I'll Teach You to Be Rich by Ramit Sethi), the former being much more of a favorite. Give or take that these are timeless books, the principles described were very basic and so logical yet it's barely practiced among many.
- Passive Compounding
- Saving More
- Spending Less
People who aren't raised with role models of any sort of financial literacy (myself included) would find themselves in this category. You think you know how to be fiscally responsible but you subconsciously end up doing the opposite, with often very valid limitations, like life, causing little margin for any freedom here. The ironic nature is even as you scale up, you then tend to fall prey to lifestyle inflation creep, when you start getting overwhelmed by ''earned privileges''.
Both authors acknowledged these ''lapses'', albeit different tones, notable mention to Ramit Sethi for calling poor habits: victimization. For example, finding an excuse to not cultivate the smallest of habits like saving $20 a week, because one may deem it ''worthless'' since there's greater ROI in saving $100 a week but it's simply unachievable still on their own terms, and in Morgan Housel's words, ''the ceiling of social comparison is so high that virtually no one will ever hit it''.
And if you folks have read (Atomic Habits by James Clear), this concept is particularly important because it proves that everything good takes time, but most people just fall off at the plateau stage so they never recognize the great results.
It doesn't matter how big or small the goalpost is.
Wealth is built with patience and discipline. Being rich is an dispensable concept where you may have liquid luxuries, but at the end of the day if you spend money on things, you will end with the things, not the money.

Privacy stack for Solana + cross-chain swaps that actually cloakes your footprints, not just wallets.
Even Solana main account has acknowledged the tech - check screenshot of RT + theres other organic posts
The team continues to work and has been delivering all of their promises since the start.
More alpha is dropping tomorrow. Seems like we found a mega alpha privacy coin at $3m.
