Exploring the Three Major Market Phases

Over the past 18 months, I've shared a multitude of charts and videos, yet I've never delved into my personal methodologies for analyzing charts. This series intends to dissect how I leverage charts in my trading and investment strategy, equipping you with the knowledge to enhance your own profitability.

This inaugural video centers on the three predominant market phases that every asset experiences at any given moment:

The Three Phases:
- Impulse: Characterized by significant upward or downward moves. The goal is to identify and capitalize on these impulses.
- Correction: Representing pullbacks and consolidation phases that occur between impulses. This phase allows for price retracement and a period of market stabilization.
- Peak (Top or Bottom): A critical indicator of potential trend reversals, whether at market highs (top) or lows (bottom).

Each of these phases exhibits distinct characteristics that we can analyze to ascertain our position within the overall market cycle, thus guiding our strategic decisions:

- During an Impulse: The focus should be on holding positions or taking profits.
- During a Correction: It’s prudent to hold current assets and look for accumulation opportunities.
- During a Peak: At a market top, consider de-risking positions, while at a bottom, look to accumulate assets.

Despite sentiment in Crypto being extremely bad these last few days…

Solana looks as though it’s gearing up for a move higher.

I’ll be setting my buy orders for around 155-160$ - where I expect it to bottom out in this wedge. (Retesting the old range high). After that we should see a move back into the 180s or 190s again.

Overall - this dip really isn’t at all concerning to me. I think everyone is over reacting and has far too much PTSD from the last dips. The charts market-wide look corrective, not as though they’re breaking below important structures.
