Most of your portfolio should be in the “investment bucket”

Wtf do you mean by that Bren?

Well, there is two styles (or buckets) that every market participant falls into, whether they know it or not

Investor and Trader

Investors tend to have a longer time horizons and buy and hold assets they have the utmost conviction in.

Traders tend to be more in and out, with shorter time horizons and alot of the time focusing on the “new thing”

While There are outlier traders that are great,

The vast majority of traders, (like most gamblers) end up either losing it all eventually or spinning their wheels overtime

Investing (having more patience and focusing on a smaller group of valuable assets) tends to give people a much better chance at success

Therefore, if we want to be successful we must set up MOST of our portfolio in that “investor bucket”

We do this by making sure at least 50% (for me its around 65% right now) of our portfolio is in long term assets like $BTC,$ETH,$SOL or stable coins

And with the rest we can dabble in alts, memes,NFTs,perps,pump fun etc. Taking the gains from the trading bucket and storing them in the investment bucket for safe keeping

Most peoples problem is they have too much of their portfolio in brand new meme coins and get washed when the music temporarily stops

But not you anymore. Your goal should to get above that 50%+ investment threshold ASAP.

I promise you, this gives you a much better shot at success and being around to capitalize off crypto taking over the world in the next few decades
