In March 2025, SEUAC's Business Consultant lead (Dr. Dash) conducted the focus group discussion with members (SEUAC’s members are: 23 agriculture cooperatives and 2 private companies) to revisit the existing business plan of SEUAC. Our discussions included the FPO impact goal, market info and agri-business challenges and needed and more specific activities:

1-Farm inputs
2-Farming: Crop and livestock production.
3-Food processing: Transforming agricultural products into consumable forms.
4-Transportation: Moving goods from farms to processing plants and consumers.
5-Marketing and distribution: Selling and delivering agricultural products to consumers.
6-Agricultural machinery: Manufacturing and supplying farm equipment.
7-Agricultural services: Providing specialized expertise and support to farmers.

The discussion helps Consultant lead to re-design the SEUAC’s business plan on model poultry farm, model vegetable/fruit farm and B2B business platform including credit service from SEUAC to farmers. The final work of business plans will be ready in the next two months.

Congrats to SEUAC - សហភាពសហគមន៍កសិកម្មសហគ្រិនអភិឌ្ឍន៍សង្គម "Model vegetable and fruit farm" for its revenue generation from the 24 watermelon rows growing; each row produces at least 40 watermelons. The model vegetable and fruit farm of SEUAC was established in 2025. In total, 24 rows can produce 4080kg, each melon is 2.5kg, 1kg is about 0.37USD. A total of 24 watermelon rows sold to the market for approximately 1,530USD. We are happy to have seen Heifer International Cambodia supported SEUAC (Apex body) farm generate its first revenue.
