Basics for stock selection

-Annual turnover should be 100 cr at least
-Debt to equity must be 0.50 , best if debt free
-5 year avg ROE should be above 15
-Promoters holding at least 50% or above
-Cash flow from operation should be positive
-Company should have paid dividend
-No pledged share by promoters
-Company should not have made loss in last 5 years
-Company should have at least 5% CAGR sales growth
-Net profit margin 5% or above preferred
These points are few basics for beginners who should look for before picking a stock.
All these points should be applied into manufacturing sectors only.
