Did you know that sign language isnβt universal?π Different countries have their own versions, just like spoken languages!
Todayβs sign: βThank youβπ
Try it out! Just place the fingertips of one hand near your chin and gently move your hand forward. Easy, right?
Itβs a small gesture with a big impactπ
Letβs spread kindness, not just with words, but with signs too!

MeetHelen Keller : A True Inspiration Who Changed the World Without Hearing or Sight
Born in 1880, Helen Keller lost both her hearing and sight at just 19 months old. But that didnβt stop her from becoming one of the most influential voices in history.
With the help of her teacher Anne Sullivan , Helen learned to communicate through tactile sign language, a groundbreaking achievement at the time.
She went on to become the first deaf-blind person to earn a college degree π, author 12 books π, and travel the world as a speaker and activist for the rights of the deaf, blind, and disabled community β.
βHelen proved that disability does not define your ability. Her courage and determination opened doors for millions and changed the way the world sees communication, education, and inclusion.

Your Face Is Part of the Sentence!
Think your face is just for showing emotion? In sign language it's doing so much more.
Facial expressions are actually part of the grammar.
Theyβre called non-manual markers, and they help show tone, questions, negation, and emotion.
βAsking a yes/no question? Raise your eyebrows π€¨
Stating something negativeπ ? Shake your head while signing
Feeling surprised or excited? Let your face show it π²π
In Sign Language, your hands are the words and your face is the punctuation, tone, and emojis, all in one!

She didnβt just talk about healthcare as a human right β she lived it .
βWe are not neutral when medical care is attacked. We are not silent when humanity is denied.β β Dr. Joanne Liu

After a full career in tech sales, Dr. Toh chased a lifelong dream of studying medicine in his mid-60s. At 70, he graduated from Southwestern University.

π¬ His motto? βSayangβ, a Filipino word meaning βit would be a shameβ. A shame to give up. A shame to stop dreaming.
