We have prepared a survey to assess the presence and severity of Human Rights violations faced or witnessed by medical students at Sefereselam Campus and Black Lion Hospital.

✨SCORP EDUCATION consists of
1. Project Humanity 🎓
👉 A series of webinars and seminars on:
✅ humanitarian issues
✅ peace building
✅ The global peace for health Initiative

🎯 The aim is to give members the knowledge they need to advocate for human rights and peace as future physicians

2. Medicolegal issues ⚖️
✅ A series school wide seminars on medicolegal issues one will encounter as a doctor, presented by professionals in a way that is practical and applicable.

🎯 This training will allow future physicians to practice medicine in a lawful and ethical manner and know exactly what to expect on the legal front in their practices.

3. Essay Competition 📝
✅ An essay competition on a specific topic to be held in the 4th quarter

🎯 Encourage students to express their thoughts and opinions, while assessing the impact of SCORP summit and SCORP education projects.

4. Teachers' Acknowledgement 👩🏽‍🏫
✅ Giving select nurturing, inspiring, and motivated teachers certificates of appreciation
.
🎯 To foster a better student-teacher relationship and encourage good teachers


✨SCORP EXCHANGE ✈️
✅ In-person and Online exchange programs with LCs, Regional and International charters on the obstacles SCORP faces as well as the opportunities.

🎯To strengthen the reach of the standing committee and gain experience from other SCORPs. In addition, it works to facilitate the establishment of new SCORPs nationally

SCORP outreach

✦Our outreach project is all about giving back through charitable visits to organizations in need, where we can assess their unique requirements, medical needs and proactively intervene. Along the way, we also raise awareness about important issues that affect our communities.

SCORP Mental health

✦mental health project collaborates closely with other SC to prioritize the mental well-being of all students, while also providing platform for those seeking help.
✦Together, we're breaking down barriers and building a brighter future for mental health awareness and support!
SCORP CB series

✦CB project is dedicated to empowering our members to not only become effective peace builders, but also passionate advocates for human rights. Through skill-building and training, we're fostering a generation of change-makers who are ready to make a positive impact on our world!

SCORP Breath
▶️ Our city is growing but so is its pollution level. This is a project first of its kind. We install air quality monitors in our city Addis Ababa in partnership with International organizations. This is the project SCORP will make history.



SCORP Exposure
▶️ In this platform we will try to establish both national and international training exposure for students through EMSA national, national and international organizations.

⭐Scorp summit
👉 It is an open platform where professionals, influential people, both from medical and non medical fields invited to share their journey and opinion.

⭐SCORP Medicos
👉 Medicos is project of students from clinical backgrounds. From clinical year students to interns supervised by seniors to create awareness and screen people from different organizations and the community.

We are thrilled to share with you, the third campaign for this term, *World Refugees Day 2023 !* We are looking for passionate and dedicated medical students to advocate the rights of refugees with SCORP, internationally.

*Who can apply?*

✅ All IFMSA members that are dedicated to human rights are encouraged toapply!
☑ From the applications, we will select around 4-6 applicants.
✅ The balance of regional and gender representation is going to be considered by us.

*Experience in conducting campaigns is important but we are also looking for the room of improvement to be included and empowered* as well as
> hoping we can bring different perspectives to the space.

*What is our objective?*

> SWG will be more than helpful in carrying out the campaign. This platform will
> Empower the members' capacities and
