✨Malala Yousafzai✨

🌎✨ Meet Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist who became a global symbol of courage and education.
At just 11, Malala began speaking out against the Taliban's ban on girls’ education in her hometown of Swat Valley, Pakistan. Despite threats, she continued advocating for girls' right to learn.

πŸ“šπŸ’ͺIn 2012, Malala survived a near-fatal gunshot attack by the Taliban. Instead of silencing her, this event amplified her voice worldwide. She co-founded the Malala Fund, supporting education for girls in marginalized communities, and became the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate in 2014 at age 17.

πŸ—£"One child, one teacher, one
book, and one pen can change the world."

✍Malala’s story inspires millions, proving that even in the face of violence and adversity, one voice can ignite global change. Her life is a testament to the power of educationπŸ“–, resilience, and fearless advocacyπŸ“’.

The Peaceful Protest... with a Dance-Off πŸ•ΊβœŒοΈ

πŸ’šπŸ’šDid you know? In 2011, protesters in Turkey settled a heated disputeβ€”not with words, but with a dance battle. πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒ

They put down their signs and broke into a spontaneous breakdance showdown to symbolize peace and unity.

When words fail, let the beat drop and the peace rise! ✌️

Peace, love, and a killer moonwalk! πŸ’ƒπŸ•ΊπŸ’₯

World’s Most Polite WarπŸ§‘β€πŸš€

In 1838, Canada and the U.S. fought the β€œAroostook War” over a border dispute.

The soldiers didn’t fire a single shot. Instead, they traded insultsπŸ—£, foodπŸ₯£, and occasionally helped each other chop firewoodπŸͺ΅

✍ Turns out, the best way to win a war is to out-nice your enemy!

🌎✨Martin Luther King Jr. was an American civil rights leader who fought against racial segregation and injustice in the United States.

πŸ’š Born in 1929, he became a Baptist minister and led nonviolent protests inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy.

⭐️He played a key role in the Montgomery Bus Boycott (1955–1956), the March on Washington (1963), and the passage of the Civil Rights Act (1964). His famous β€œI Have a Dream” speech called for equality and justice for all.

Today, we honor Dr. Andualem Dagne: A True legacy

From earning his Doctor of Medicine at Jimma University with the highest grade and a gold medal πŸ… to excelling in General Surgery at Bahir Dar University and completing a fellowship in Hepatobiliary Surgery at Addis Ababa University, Dr. Andualem’s dedication to medicine was unmatched. πŸ’‰πŸŒ

As Head of Surgical Services at Tebebe Ghion Specialized Hospital, his influence on healthcare and education was immense, leaving a legacy through the lives he touched. 🌱

War and instability steal the brightest among us. Dr. Andualem’s tragic loss reminds us of the dangers healthcare workers face in conflict zones.

As the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace, we stand for the safety of doctors worldwide. "Save the lives of those who save lives" is our call to action. βš–οΈπŸ•Š

We honor Dr. Andualem’s life, his commitment to human dignity, and the world he fought for.

Meet ✨✨"Dr. Helen Taussig "βœ¨βœ¨β€“ The Woman Who Gave Blue Babies a Second Chance

Decades ago, babies with "blue baby syndrome" πŸ’™ were doomed to die. Their tiny hearts couldn’t get enough oxygen. But Dr. Helen Taussig, a deaf 🦻 pediatric cardiologist, refused to accept that fate.

❀️‍πŸ”₯ With no precedent to follow, she co-developed the first heart surgery for newborns, giving thousands a second chance at life.

πŸ₯πŸ”¬ Today, pediatric cardiology exists because she refused to be silent.

✍Let this be a reminder that when we refuse to stay silent, we can change the worldβ€”one heartbeat at a time. πŸ’™πŸŒ

We know things get a bit too gloomy sometimes β€”so here’s your weekly dose of medical & human rights humor! πŸ˜†πŸ’š

⚑️ A mitochondrion and a dictator walk into a bar…

πŸ§ͺ Why did the enzyme break up with the substrate?
Because it just wasn’t the right fit anymore! 😭

☝️ Why don’t phalanges ever argue?
Because they always point fingers at someone else! ☝️

πŸ’‰ Why do human rights activists love mRNA vaccines?
Because they teach your body how to fight for itself! 🦠

🍻 A neuron and a hormone walk into a bar…

Meet ✨Dr. Carlo Urbani✨ The Man Who Gave His Life to Stop SARS πŸ¦ πŸ’”

πŸ’¬ "A doctor’s duty is not just to cure, but to protect humanity." πŸ©ΊπŸ’–

In 2003, Dr. Carlo Urbani, an Italian infectious disease expert, identified SARS 🦠and sounded the alarm to contain the virus.

He acted swiftly, warning β—οΈβ—οΈπŸš¨the world before it was too late. But in his selflessness, he contracted the virus himself and passed away shortly after. πŸŒπŸ’‰

His courage saved millions of lives, and his sacrifice reminds us that true heroes go beyond just curingβ€”they protect humanity. πŸŒŸπŸ’™
