A message from the EMSA-Ethiopia EB
πEMSA-ETHIOPIA is going to be writing a letter to the MOH requesting their assistance in facilitating the timely issuance of Passports for USMLE takers. Assuming most of you are aware of some changes will be happening in 2024 in regards to the accreditation of our medical schools affecting the ability of our members to pursue the USMLE route. If anyone is having trouble having their passports issued or renewed in time for the 2024 deadline, make sure to fill the form attached below till Tuesday October 3 afternoon 7:00 LT.
πWe would like to stress that this request letter isn't by any means a guarantee. We had thought this would be the least we would do to help some of our members. We will be lobbying the MOH to sway in our favour, but the decision of whether or not they will support us is left up to them. So it's best to manage your expectations.
πMake sure to share this post on the separate batch and section groups to ensure the message is spread.
πHere is the form.
