Dearest SCOME Ethiopia members, we are delighted to announce the successful completion of our month long Sign Language training!🎉🎉

🐼 The course was aimed to bridge the gap between the medical community and the deaf community, fostering a more inclusive healthcare environment.

🐼 Through out the course, our trainees have acquired the basics of Ethiopian and American sign language, including medical terminologies and conversational techniques. We hope they are now equipped with the basic skills needed to communicate and connect with the deaf community in their professional and personal life.

🐼 We would like to extend our gratitude to those who joined the classes and stayed committed until the very end of the training. Thank you for your active engagements!

⚪️ Remember, the end of the course is just the beginning of a journey. We encourage our students to continue practicing and improving their sign language skills. Let's make healthcare accessible for all, one sign at a time!

On November 1, the Programs Team is coming back in great style with the new Activity Enrollment Form, which will mark the new beginning for each Activity Coordinator who wants to join the global family of IFMSA Programs and contribute to the impact of medical students worldwide. Whether you are a National Activity Representative, an Activity Coordinator on the local or national level, or maybe you are simply interested in the work of IFMSA Programs, do not hesitate to join us on Saturday, November 4th at 13:00 GMT!

• The Programs Core Team will present the opportunities awaiting you, including the benefits of enrollment and reporting, and Capacity Building events!
