It all began with failure
I failed an exam and it was entirely my fault

I picked myself up, retook the exam, and passed. But more importantly, I decided that something had to change.

I began to reevaluate everything, from how I studied to what I prioritized in life.
And somewhere in that search, I discovered a tool called Obsidian during my C2 Minor.

What started as a simple digital note-taking app became a space to think, reflect, and build myself.
From then on, I just bought a few exercise books and ended up saving some money.

And slowly, I started seeing the results.
My grades improved and I grew more during C2. And eventually, I passed my qualification exam.

Now, I carry one thing with me:
I don’t want anyone else to go through the same struggles I did.

If sharing my story or tools can help someone find their way, then it’s worth the try.

Huntington's Disease (HD), a devastating inherited neurodegenerative condition caused by a specific genetic mutation, tragically leads to severe motor dysfunction, cognitive decline, and debilitating psychiatric symptoms.
Until now, there's been no cure or effective disease-altering treatment. πŸ’”

But now, for the first time, this disease has been successfully targeted with gene therapy! πŸŽ‰
A single, one-time gene therapy treatment has shown the potential to markedly slow the disease's progression, potentially becoming the first-ever treatment to truly alter the course of this rare brain disorder. ✨

A small trial of 29 individuals in early-stage decline, participants receiving a high dose of the therapy  witnessed the disease's progression slow by an incredible 75%.

This is a monumental step forward, offering immense hope for those affected by Huntington's Disease!  🌟
