Day 3 🎯🎯

Project Hobbymates

The aim of this project is to create a third space where students with similar interests can get together and bond over the things they love outside of medicine.

We initially had many Hobby groups in mind, but we were able to actively initiate and manage two of them.

🐼 Our yearly football Cup was held, and after a series of matches the now New C2 have emerged victorious 🎉🎉

🤍 We would like to thank the enthusiastic Girmay Astbaha for making sure things went smoothly!

🐼 We launched the first bookclub in TASH, which is nearing its 1 year anniversary 😊.

So far we have read:
📚 Crime and Punishment
📚 አልወለድም
📚 The trial and Death of Socrates
📚 The Symposium
📚Fathers and Sons
📚Purple Hibiscus
📚Kindred

🤍 Our vibrant team leaders, Kidus Alemayehu and Amanuel Tagesse have also kept the group chat lively with discussions centering around poetry and various short stories!

We will be meeting tomorrow at 9:00 LT to discuss 📚 The Death of Ivan Ilych by Leo Tolstoy and 📚 The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
