Solv.finance was exploited for $2.7 million through a double-minting vulnerability in its BitcoinReserveOffering (BRO) contract. The flaw allowed attackers to mint BRO tokens twice per transaction by triggering both the callback function and the mint function simultaneously.
The attacker looped the exploit 22 times, inflating 135 BRO tokens into 567 million BRO, then exchanged the inflated supply for 38 SolvBTC worth approximately $2.73 million through Solv's exchange contract.
