Huge Update Regarding Referral Boost⚡

We have received a lot of feedback about the F1 and F2 referral system, especially around mining rate changes between sessions. We have now adjusted the mechanism to make it more stable and easier to understand.

Previously, your referral bonus only counted when your F1 and F2 users were active during the same mining session. This meant your mining rate could change heavily from one session to another depending on how many referrals were online.

From now on, your verified F1 and F2 referrals do not need to be online for you to receive their referral boost.

F1: +15% mining rate each
F2: +5% mining rate each
For example, if you have 60 F1 and 100 F2:

60 F1 = +900%
100 F2 = +500%
Total Referral Boost = +1,400%

Once counted, the bonus stays tied to your verified referral network rather than their activity in each session.

We’ve received some feedback around mining rates, boosts, and the final amount received after each session, so here’s a simple breakdown.

The current Base Mining Rate is 0.1 SCALE/hour. Your hourly reward is calculated as:

Hourly Reward = Base Hourly Rate × (1 + Ad Boost + Referral Boost)

For example:
- Base Rate: 0.1 SCALE/hour
- Ad Boost: +40%
- Referral Boost: +75%

Calculation:
0.1 × (1 + 0.40 + 0.75)
= 0.1 × 2.15
= 0.215 SCALE/hour

If you mine for a full 8-hour session:
0.215 × 8 = 1.72 SCALE

Even if you activate with, for example, only 6 hours remaining, the previous 2 hours are still counted as long as you did not miss the session, so you still receive the full 8-hour reward.

In short:

Base Rate + Ad Boost + Referral Boost → Hourly Reward → Final Session Reward

The boost percentages increase your base mining rate. They are not the amount of $SCALE earned directly.

Also, under the updated referral mechanism:

F1: +15% each
F2: +5% each

Verified F1 and F2 referrals no longer need to be online at the same time for their boost to count.

I just claimed 5.4 SCALE, but the number of tokens earned isn't what I'm paying the most attention to.

The interesting part is the mechanism behind Scale:

GPU contributors provide compute → AI workloads consume it → organizations pay for that capacity in SCALE.

That creates a very different question around the tokenomics.

If mining rewards halve every 4 months against a 1B max supply, how effectively will the system balance early network incentives with long-term demand for compute?
