Phnom Penh, 6 Sep — The SBCCA led a delegation of 10 Phnom Penh–based executives to the Distinguished Senior Fellowship Programme Networking Dinner, organised by the National University of Singapore (NUS) under the guidance of Professor Virginia Cha.
The evening brought together thought leaders, industry captains, and academics to learn from the Smiling Gecko Campus, a powerful example of how sustainable business practices can transform lives for communities in need.
As part of the programme, the SBCCA delegation shared insights on “Doing Business in Cambodia – Opportunities and Challenges for Singapore Businesses,” highlighting Cambodia’s growing economic landscape and the potential for stronger Singapore–Cambodia collaborations.
The event, hosted in Farmhouse Smiling Gecko with fine dining, provided a fitting backdrop for the distinguished Singaporean guests in attendance.

The delegation was led by SBCCA Chairman, Mr. Tan Wee Pin, accompanied by Secretary, Mr. Jeff Tan and Member, Mr. KC Tan. The ceremony, held at the King Father’s Memorial Statue in Phnom Penh, was organised by the Cambodian National and International Festival Organising Committee.
SBCCA was honoured to join fellow business and community leaders in laying a wreath and paying heartfelt respects to the late King Father — a visionary leader who devoted his life to the peace, unity, and prosperity of Cambodia.
This participation reflects SBCCA’s continued commitment to supporting Cambodia’s national events and strengthening the bonds between the Singaporean business community and the Cambodian people.
