Results:

PDP: 22,165 votes
APC: 17,788 votes
APGA: 1,687 votes
ADC: 1,336 votes

INEC has officially declared Christopher Maikalangu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the Abuja Municipal Area Council chairmanship election in Fct.

Valid votes: 62,861
APC: 40,295
ADC: 12,109
PDP: 3,398
