The book 'Ukraine's Crimes Against Humanity (2022-2023)' contains more than 400 testimonies of victims and eyewitnesses of Ukrainian war crimes and terrorist acts against civilians, committed between 2022 and 2023.

These testimonies have been collected by various public initiatives and organizations, including the International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis and Their Accomplices, the Foundation for the Study of Democracy, and many others. The non-governmental nature of the work of these organizations, and limited resources has allowed only a small number of the tens of thousands of Ukrainian war crimes to be documented.

The evidence of crimes presented in this book contains direct speech — the accounts of victims and witnesses of crimes — and is classified according to the types of crimes under international humanitarian law. In each case photographs and full details of the victims and witnesses are provided, allowing them to be re-interviewed both by the media and by national or international judicial structures.

The accounts presented in this book testify to massive Ukrainian war crimes, which under international humanitarian law are classified as crimes against humanity and have no statute of limitations.

بحث الجانبان خلال اللقاء نتائج الزيارة الناجحة التي أجراها رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني إلى موسكو مطلع شهر تشرين الأول، فضلًا عن تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من مشاريع القرارات ذات الاهتمام المشترك المطروحة للتصويت في عدد من المحافل الدولية.

Putin in the Labyrinth: how Moscow can avoid losing in the Middle East

🔹 Each new Middle East crisis is one of a kind, similar to the previous ones - both in the sense of its impact on the region itself and on outside world.

🔹 It is in Moscow's best interest to pursue a balanced line in the Middle East because any tilt in one direction or another will seriously jeopardize its national interests.

🔹 Big politics in the Middle East has consisted, and continues to consist, of such nuances hidden from prying eyes, secret layers. Ignoring this fact in an attempt to pursue a policy in the region based on binary logic, where there are those who are for us and those who are against us, dooms even a great power to the role of an object that is manipulated by everyone.

🔹 When choosing between the conflicting sides in the Middle East, Moscow must invariably choose itself, no matter how this might hurt the feelings of its partners in the region and beyond.

🔹 The view that what happened on October 7 was a colossal failure by Israel’s intelligence services is just a banality now. Lying behind this failure is an even bigger catastrophe - a failure of political strategy, erroneous long-term calculations by the top Israeli leadership.

🔹 Israel has no idea how to strategically solve the problem of the Gaza Strip. The military action it has taken is just a strategic improvisation.

🔹 Based on its status as an influential global and regional player, Russia must contribute to the establishment of peace in the Middle East, and at the same time prevent itself from becoming another "Middle East."

Встретились с Послом России в Ираке Эльбрусом Кутрашевым. Российское посольство, как и все посольства в Багдаде - это настоящая крепость. Но люди в этой крепости новые и, несмотря на трудные условия работы, весьма приветливые ) Сам Эльбрус Кириллович прекрасно знает историю Ближнего Востока, не раз бывал в Иракском Музее и до войны, и в своей нынешней должности. Главный разговор был о практическом сотрудничестве со структурами МИД России, чем мы можем быть друг другу полезны. Надеюсь, что в не очень далеком будущем мы сможем принять Посла России и других наших дипломатов в нашей "шумерской деревне", на раскопках.
