7 Iraqi high-potential employees of the LUKOIL Mid-East Ltd have completed 6 educational and professional training modules of the course “Integrated Operations in the Development of Oil and Gas Fields program”. The training is conducted on the basis of Perm National Research Polytechnic University and the Educational Center in Kogalym. In February 2025, this educational program was recognized as the best in the Talent Development Program of the Year nomination at the international Oil & Gas Middle East Awards.

During the training period, the employees got acquainted with theoretical approaches in the field of integrated modeling, and also had the opportunity to practice their knowledge under the guidance of experienced experts from Lukoil.

The educational program for professional retraining of specialists at the West Qurna-2 project helps in developing the human resources potential of the Iraqi energy sector.

LUKOIL and Basra Oil Company inaugurate Sports Playground in Ezz-Aldeen Saleem District:

LUKOIL Mid-East Ltd. in cooperation with Basra Oil Company, have completed the construction of a Sports playground Ezz-Aldeen Saleem District. The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the Youth and Sports Committee in Basra’s Provincial Council, the director of Basra’s Youth and Sports Department, the district mayor, along with several government, sports, and community officials.
The Project is part of a package of social infrastructure projects assigned to LUKOIL by Basra Oil Company and the Basra Governorate. Its aim is to support youth and sports development while providing a proper environment for athletic and recreational activities.
LUKOIL confirmed that it is simultaneously working on other service-sector projects and additional initiatives that are currently in advanced stages.

LMEL’s Employees Participate in the Kogalym International Half Marathon:
A delegation of LUKOIL Middle East Limited employees participated in the Kogalym International Half Marathon, in response to an invitation from LUKOIL PJSC. The event took place in the Russian city of Kogalym from 5th to 7th September, 2025.
Due to regulations regarding the participation of foreign citizens in sporting events within the Russian Federation, the Company's employees participated in the 2.5-kilometer race, achieving top positions among 394 participants from 13 countries:
Third place: Mahdi Hamdawi Aati Al-Shaghanbi – HSE Department ERS Team Member (Firefighter/Rescuer)
Fourth place: Zaidoun Luay Abdul Rahman Al-Alwan – HSE Department ERS Team Member (Firefighter/Rescuer)
Seventh place: Mustafa Adnan Rahman Al-Hajjaj – – HSE Department ERS Team Member (Firefighter/Rescuer)
Nineteenth place: Muhammad Najm Abdullah Al-Jabd – Production, Well Testing, and Geology Department / Data Processing Supervisor.
