В день 79-й годовщины Великой Победы Генеральный консул России в Эдинбурге Д.И.Москаленко и сотрудники Генерального консульства возложили венки к мемориалам летчикам 1-й авиатранспортной дивизии советского Гражданского воздушного флота, участвовавшим в операции по доставке в СССР британских самолетов в 1943 году, и экипажу советской подводной лодки В-1, погибшему при переходе из Шотландии в Советский Союз в 1944 году.

May 9, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russian compatriots laid flowers at the war memorials and graves of the Soviet soldiers in Chester, Manchester and Liverpool.

🇬🇼 President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embaló,

Before the parade, Vladimir Putin welcomed the heads of foreign states who had arrived in Moscow for the celebrations, in the Heraldic Hall of the Kremlin.
