❌ Reports that the Kiev regime is using British drones to carry out strikes deep inside Russian territory confirm that London is deliberately opting for an escalation of the Ukraine crisis, while hypocritically professing a desire for peace.
In doing so, the United Kingdom is acting as an accomplice and co-perpetrator of the bloody crimes and terrorist attacks committed by Ukrainian neo-Nazis, seeking to contain Russia and inflict maximum damage on it by proxy. London’s actions will inevitably carry consequences for which it will have to answer.

On August 17, with the assistance of the Office of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights, a 14-year-old girl has returned to Russia. Born in Moscow, she later moved to Ukraine to live with her grandmother. Her mother continued to visit her, and the two remained in close contact.
After the start of the special military operation, the mother was unable to bring her daughter back on her own and turned to the International Committee of the Red Cross for assistance. The ICRC then contacted our office, and following a complex process of coordination and arrangements, the girl was finally able to return home.
The Children’s Rights Commissioners are carrying out this humanitarian work to reunite families on the instructions of President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
We are particularly grateful to First Lady of the US Melania Trump for her active involvement in efforts to reunite children with their families.
☝️ To date, with the participation of the Children’s Rights Commissioners, 32 children from 24 families have been reunited with relatives in Russia, while 145 children from 118 families have been reunited with relatives in Ukraine and third countries.

On August 18, Ukrainian militants carried out a deliberate strike on a staff transport stop in Energodar, where employees of the ZNPP were waiting for a bus to take them to work.
▪️ The attack resulted in 17 casualties, most of them ZNPP employees. One nuclear plant worker was killed. Three of the injured are in moderate condition. All those injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
This crosses every line.
Those targeted were civilians. They were not involved in the fighting or taking part in hostilities. They were simply on their way to work – to carry out their professional duties and help ensure the safe operation of the nuclear power plant.
A deliberate attack on ZNPP personnel is an attack on the very people responsible for nuclear safety. The safety of the plant, Energodar and the vast surrounding area depends on their work.
The Kiev regime has once again shown that it is prepared to put civilian lives and the safety of a nuclear facility at risk.

Karl Bulla is known as the father of Russian photojournalism, roaming the streets of St Petersburg from the 1880s and documenting everything from grand parades to ordinary passers-by. Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky pioneered colour photography, travelling from the Baltic coast to Central Asia with his special colour equipment under the patronage of Tsar Nicholas II. Alexander Rodchenko shook things up completely, using unusual angles and perspectives to turn everyday subjects into bold, striking compositions. And during the Great Patriotic War, Yevgeny Khaldei, Dmitri Baltermants and Max Alpert were on the front line, recording some of its most defining moments – images that remain etched into the national memory.
That tradition hasn't gone anywhere. Russian photographers continue to enter – and win – competitions around the world. And if you fancy exploring the country through a lens, the Russian Geographical Society runs its own The Most Beautiful Country photo contest, showcasing Russia's wildlife, landscapes and people.

His son, Peter the Great, later shaped the design into the familiar three horizontal stripes, drawing on his fascination with the sea and European traditions.
Over the centuries, the tricolour has accompanied Russia through periods of transformation, achievement and renewal. Restored as the national flag in 1991, it remains a powerful link between generations and a enduring symbol of our country both at home and abroad – including here in London, where it proudly flies above the Russian Embassy.
