⚡️ On June 11, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin received Ambassadors of Britain, France and Germany to Russia Nigel Casey, Nicolas de Rivière and Alexander Graf Lambsdorff at their request.
The heads of diplomatic missions were presented with objective assessments of the destructive policy pursued by their countries’ leadership with regard to the Ukrainian crisis.
👉 This policy is aimed at doing everything possible to encourage the Kiev regime to continue its war against Russia on behalf of, at the expense of and with direct assistance from the Western “coalition of the willing”.
Russia’s principled approaches to achieving a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict were explained, with a focus on eliminating its root causes.

🗓️ 330 years ago, on June 11, 1696, James Francis Edward Keith, a Russian military commander of Scottish descent and General-in-Chief of the Russian Imperial Army, was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
In 1728, after several years in Spain and Prussia, the young Scottish aristocrat entered Russian service. Known in Russia as Yakov Vilimovich Keith, he served as a military inspector, governed Malorossiya, and rose from the rank of Major General to one of the most influential military commanders in the Russian Empire. His credibility was so great that in 1742 he single-handedly quelled a brewing mutiny among the troops.
His successful campaigns during the War of the Polish Succession, the Rhine campaign of 1735, the siege of Ochakov during the Russo-Turkish War of 1735-1739, as well as the capture of the fortress of Villmanstrand during the Russo-Swedish War of 1741-1743 earned him the two highest honours of the Russian Empire — the Order of St Andrew the First-Called and the Order of St Alexander Nevsky.

🇷🇺 11 июня в резиденции Посла Российской Федерации в Лондоне состоялся торжественный приём по случаю Дня России.
Его посетили главы и сотрудники дипломатических миссий дружественных государств СНГ, Азии, Африки, Ближнего Востока и Латинской Америки, представители расположенных в Лондоне международных организаций, британских политических и деловых кругов, общественных объединений и СМИ, а также российские соотечественники.
В своём выступлении Посол Андрей Келин отметил, что Россия, опираясь на богатое историческое наследие, единство народа и приверженность традиционным ценностям, уверенно преодолевает современные вызовы и последовательно отстаивает собственные интересы и суверенитет.
Характеризуя российско-британские отношения, Посол подчеркнул, что их неудовлетворительное состояние обусловлено исключительно избранным Лондоном курсом на конфронтацию с нашей страной. Указал на сохраняющийся потенциал для конструктивного диалога, если руководство Британии пересмотрит свою политику в отношении России.
В ходе приёма, прошедшего в тёплой и дружеской атмосфере, гости имели уникальную возможность ознакомиться с коллекцией русской живописи и скульптуры, представленной в старинном здании резиденции, и отведать традиционные блюда отечественной кухни.

Годами мы предупреждали об опасности курса, который проводил Запад, игнорируя законные интересы нашей страны. Прямо объясняли, к чему это приведёт. Нас не слышали – или не хотели слышать. Плоды своей политики сегодня пожинает вся Европа. Мы, со своей стороны, защищаем то, что не подлежит обсуждению: право на безопасность, суверенитет и собственный путь развития. Россия преодолевала испытания и куда более тяжёлые – преодолеет и это. На своих условиях и с достоинством.
