The terrorist attack claimed 21 young lives. Just a week ago, they were students with dreams, plans and a future. Today, all that remains are photographs, memories and unbearable grief.

💬 What is particularly striking is the hypocrisy and cynicism of the European delegations. They rush to level accusations against Russia whenever it is politically expedient for them, yet in this case, they have chosen to essentially ignore the tragedy [in Starobelsk], pinning all the blame on Moscow. We were not surprised then, and we are not surprised now.
How can they be compassionate if they have the blood of the children of Starobelsk on their hands? After all, these countries have been supplying Zelensky’s terrorist regime with money, intelligence, weapons, and ammunition for many years, egging Zelensky on to enable new crimes against civilians, and subsequently covering for him by portraying Ukraine as a victim.
The UN Secretariat, which acts so swiftly in some cases, has unfortunately once again retreated into generalized remarks and vague language, avoiding any direct assessments of Kiev’s actions. They, allegedly, have no access to the site of the tragedy, and in no way can they verify the information. We have repeatedly stated that UN representatives are allowed to visit the DPR, the LPR, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions via Russian territory. However, UN officials do not pursue these opportunities.
❓ Why is the UN Secretariat so prompt to find words when there is a need to support the Western version of events, while struggling so badly to find the right expressions when it comes to calling the Ukrainian attack on children a crime? Why do some victims deserve immediate compassion, while others do not? Why does the death of minors in one place warrant loud statements and condemnations, whereas the death of children in Starobelsk is met with silence?
Here we have yet another glaring manifestation of the West’s “double standards” and hypocrisy.

The children's problems have been completely politicised, with double standards being promoted. Some countries are unscrupulously exploiting this sensible issue to disseminate lies, libel and misinformation about undesirable states [...]
The story about the Ukrainian children allegedly kidnapped by Russia is a vivid example of such approaches. For many years, Ukraine has perpetuated this myth on all international platforms, which are happy to listen to it without bothering to check the facts [...]
Meanwhile, they are ignoring the fact that Russia has made efforts to reunite children with their relatives [...] since the onset of the special military operation. As of today, 30 children from 22 families have returned to Russia from Ukraine, while 141 minors from 114 families have been reunited with their parents or relatives living in Ukraine and other countries.
The Kiev regime has been referring to far-fetched numbers by talking about 1,000, then 10,000, or even several hundred thousand, and then millions, only to backtrack to either 10,000 or 15,000. But all we got was a list of 339 names. And most of them are completely irrelevant.
❌ The West ignores the fact that it was the children who endured so much cruel suffering during the war unleashed by the Ukrainian authorities against the people of Donbass in 2014 [...]
At least 129 children died and over 500 were wounded in the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics between 2014 and February 2022. The youngest victim of Ukrainian aggression was just 27 days old.

💬 Today, we mark International Children’s Day – a holiday that reminds us of every child’s right to a happy childhood, development and safety.
This day is already more than a century old, and over sixty countries around the world have joined this initiative. Yet there are also those who have begun to abandon this date – shifting it to other days, rewriting its history and distorting the very meaning of the holiday.
Last year, Zelensky shifted the holiday to another date in order to conform to “Western standards”. This year, on the eve of this date, a terrible tragedy took place in Starobelsk – one that crossed out the most fundamental human right: the right to life.
Ukrainian militants deliberately struck children who were asleep in their beds. 86 people sustained injuries, 21 children were killed.
Most of them were girls: Anya, Taisiya, Alina, Elena, Sofia, Darya, Alexandra, Tatyana, Oksana, Yana, Veronika, Anastasia, Victoria, Irina, Alisa and many others.
Unfortunately, the international community’s position on this issue remains ambiguous. Many prefer to keep silent or pretend that nothing happened, ignoring the obvious facts of the crime.
❗️ Our task is to preserve the truth and achieve justice. Impunity for such war crimes is unacceptable.
Do you know why it is important to mark Children’s Protection Day? Precisely because humanity must remember: protecting children’s rights is our shared priority and sacred duty.

As early as 2019, the International Court of Justice ruled that London's ongoing administration of the archipelago was unlawful. It was not until 2024, five years later, that the British reluctantly agreed to Mauritius's proposals on this matter.
However, the situation then changed abruptly. It emerged that the White House was dissatisfied with London's independent initiative. For the inhabitants of Downing Street, [...] this proved to be more important than safeguarding their reputation, keeping promises to voters or honouring existing commitments. Nevertheless, let us not be naive: within British ruling circles, many were in fact pleased with such a reprimand from Washington, as it provided a rationale to perpetuate their neo-colonial aspirations.
The British frequently resort to such tactics to paper over domestic political dilemmas that they neither wish nor are able to resolve.
We hope they will not succeed in sweeping the matter under the carpet this time. After all, international law and the global community's sympathies are unequivocally aligned with Mauritius.
The moral of the story is clear, however. Agreements with the British were as unreliable in the past as they remain today.

- приём заявлений на оформление паспортов будет осуществляться при строгом соблюдении требований к комплекту необходимых документов, указанному на сайте;

- нотариальные действия – доверенности, согласия, заявления, удостоверение верности переводов документов, свидетельствование копий, а также оформление документов с электронной цифровой подписью – будут осуществляться при строгом соблюдении требований, указанных на сайте;
- будут доступны истребование документов и оформление справок об отсутствии судимости;
- при этом необходимо заранее направить на электронный адрес секции нотариата (notariat.london@kdmid.ru, notariat@rusemb.org.uk) подлежащие оформлению документы в формате Word с указанием ФИО, а также электронной почты и номера телефона.

More recently, it has turned its efforts to goading the Europeans into reckless militarisation and preparations for direct confrontation with Russia.
Needless to say, the British themselves have no intention of “entering the fray”, nor do they possess the necessary economic and military capabilities to do so.
Instead, drawing on a long historical tradition, they appear to be counting on intrigue and provocation to entrench the dividing lines that have re-emerged across Europe, as well as to prevent any meaningful détente in Russia-US relations.

🗓 3 июня Посол России в Великобритании Андрей Келин был приглашён на беседу в Форин офис, в ходе которой британская сторона озвучила ряд претензий, связанных с проведением СВО. В частности, домыслы, касающиеся падения в Румынии 29 мая беспилотного летательного аппарата.
Глава дипмиссии разъяснил российскую позицию по данному инциденту, отвергнув беспочвенные обвинения. Отметил, что цель нового русофобского витка – отвлечь внимание мировой общественности от преступлений киевского режима. В конкретном плане указал на очередные террористические атаки ВСУ на общежитие в Старобельске и рейсовый автобус в Енакиево.
Акцентировал, что Лондон, будучи одним из основных спонсоров Зеленского, фактически поддерживает эти террористические методы.
Кроме того, Посол призвал собеседников с максимальной серьёзностью отнестись к заявлению МИД России от 25 мая в связи с началом системного уничтожения военных и военно-промышленных объектов в Киеве.
Вновь довёл до британской стороны настоятельную рекомендацию эвакуировать из города дипломатический персонал и иностранных граждан.
