💬 An unprecedented campaign has been launched against the fleet transporting cargo from Russian ports, with even minor maritime powers getting involved. Some states have simply overreached themselves in their pursuit of tankers, bulk carriers and container ships.
The attack on the Russian LNG carrier Arctic Metagaz in the Mediterranean Sea was an egregious incident, which we regard as an act of international terrorism. According to the information available to us, the risk of terrorist and sabotage threats against vessels bound for Russian ports remains high. To this end, we have developed and are implementing a comprehensive set of measures to ensure safe navigation.
Vessels arriving from abroad are being inspected, procedures have been established for the operational coordination between shipowners and port authorities.
Oversight of vessels engaged in cargo transportation in Russia's interests has also been strengthened. All maritime assets involved in economic activity are monitored in real time to prevent sudden attacks on bases, ports, ships and vessels.
We are considering the possibility of requesting escort services for Russian-flagged vessels from mobile armed units via harbour masters. Work is also underway on deploying specialised defensive equipment aboard ships. Measures are being planned to escort merchant vessels with Russia's military ships.
☝️ It is becoming increasingly clear that political, diplomatic and legal measures do not always prove effective in countering the campaign mounted by the West against Russian shipping. Should new threats at sea arise from European countries, additional measures will be developed.

🗓 On March 19, the Delegation of the Russian Federation to the Vienna Negotiations on Military Security and Arms Control, together with the Ambassador-at-Large of the MFA of Russia Mr. Rodion Miroshnik held an international teleconference War crimes of the AFU against the civilian population of the Belgorod region.
🌍 Representatives from over 70 countries participated in the event, joining the teleconference from across continents.
The keynote speakers included Ambassador-at-Large of the MFA of Russia on crimes committed by the Kiev regime Mr. Rodion Miroshnik, Deputy Governor of the Belgorod region Ms. Olga Medvedeva, journalist covering international affairs and public figure Mr. Scott Ritter, expert on UAVs used by the AFU against civilian targets, CEO of Ushkuynik Research and Production Center Mr. Alexey Chadayev, and journalist of SOLOVIOV Live and participant in the volunteer charity missions of the SVR (Soloviev Vladimir R.) 💬 Moscow is gravely concerned about the ongoing armed conflict in the Persian Gulf and the risks of further escalation. The scale of the damage to energy and other critical infrastructure in Iran and neighbouring Arab states is growing.
We are calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities, which are the result of unprovoked aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran.
Together with China, Turkey and other like-minded partners, Russia stands ready to facilitate a settlement to the conflict and promote the resolution of existing differences through political and diplomatic means.
This would achieve long-term, sustainable stabilisation in the region while taking into account the interests of all states involved. We consistently advocate creating conditions for peaceful coexistence, security, and good neighbourly relations between our Arab partners and Iran.
We emphasise that the first step in this direction must be for the United States and Israel to immediately abandon their ongoing reckless military action [...]
For several years, Russia has been promoting the development of a collective security concept in the Persian Gulf, with the aim of establishing lasting peace and fostering cooperative relations among all coastal states.

Цифры «похищенных» в этой некрасивой истории менялись с примечательной регулярностью: звучали полтора миллиона, затем двести тысяч, затем тридцать пять тысяч, теперь – 1200. Логика пропагадистской арифметики Киева и его западных патронов проста: если бы реальные свидетельства существовали в заявленных масштабах, они давно были бы предъявлены.
Между тем на переговорах в Стамбуле украинская сторона смогла передать России список лишь из 339 фамилий. И даже в отношении этого перечня проверка установила: значительная часть этих детей в России никогда не находилась, многие обнаружились в ФРГ и других странах Запада.
Что касается детей, вывезенных в Россию, то мы неоднократно заявляли, что речь шла об эвакуации из зон активных боевых действий, где украинские формирования намеренно использовали мирное население в качестве прикрытия и заложников. Фактически – о спасении несовершеннолетних.
Как именно обращались с детьми боевики ВСУ и подразделений «Азов» – задокументировано и верифицировано Международным общественным трибуналом по преступлениям украинских неонацистов. Показания открыты для широкого читателя.
Было бы оправданно, если бы британские редакции проявили к этим свидетельствам хотя бы долю того интереса, с которым они тиражируют политически ангажированные выводы.

💬 The Indian media report that six Ukrainian citizens and one US citizen were detained and taken into custody at international airports in New Delhi, Lucknow, and Kolkata by India’s National Investigation Agency on March 13.
Allegedly, these individuals have illegally crossed the border from the Indian state of Mizoram into Myanmar and established contacts with the local armed ethnic groups with the aim of supplying them with EU-manufactured drones, and training them in drone assembly and repair, and in conducting electronic warfare. The publications quoted the NIA as saying that these armed groups maintain ties with insurgents in northeastern India.
The reaction of the Ukrainian embassy in New Delhi was quite revealing as it sought to conceal the incident and to keep its citizens’ questionable activities, which were clearly designed to destabilise the situation in the region, under wraps.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry chose to remain silent on its citizens’ violation of India’s counter-terrorism legislation and wasted no time baselessly accusing “certain Indian and Russian news agencies” of deliberately falsifying the facts.
The incident clearly shows that Zelensky’s neo-Nazi regime has a core exporter of instability worldwide.
Russia has repeatedly issued warnings about the risks associated with the large-scale militarisation of Ukraine by NATO and the EU. Weapons supplied to it are inadequately accounted for and may surface anywhere.
Today, Kiev is a major supplier of weaponry and military technologies to the global black market, including military product supplies to Latin American drug cartels and training terrorists in Africa. As we can see, the Western-created Ukrainian tentacled network is reaching as far as regional conflicts in the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
Just days ago, Zelensky brazenly boasted that several hundred Ukrainian fighters had been “deployed” to the Persian Gulf area to take part in the ongoing conflict as “instructors” and specialised “experts” in using unmanned aerial vehicles. Sure enough, enforcing international oversight over Ukraine’s military technology exports is out of the question.
All of that is the result of lax policies pursued by Western sponsors of Zelensky’s regime.

The figures cited for the number of "abducted" children in this sordid tale have fluctuated dramatically: first one and a half million, then two hundred thousand, then thirty-five thousand, and now 1,200.
The logic behind the propaganda arithmetic of Kiev and its Western patrons is straightforward: had evidence on the claimed scale existed, it would have been produced long ago. Meanwhile, during the negotiations in Istanbul, the Ukrainian side was only able to provide Russia with a list of 339 names. Even with regard to this list, verification revealed that a significant proportion of these children had never been in Russia at all. Many were found in Germany and other Western countries.
As for the children brought to Russia, we have repeatedly stated that they were evacuated from areas of active hostilities, where Ukrainian troops deliberately used civilians as cover and as hostages. In effect, it was a rescue mission for minors.
The International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis has documented and verified the manner in which children were treated by militants of the Ukrainian armed forces and the Azov battalion. The testimonies are open to the general public.
It would be justified if British media outlets showed at least a fraction of the interest in this evidence that they display when reproducing politically motivated conclusions.
