📺 Ambassador Andrei Kelin's interview with LBC presenter Andrew Marr (25 February 2026)
❓ Zelensky has said that, four years into this conflict, we are now heading towards the first stages of World War III. Do you think he is right?
💬 Ambassador Kelin: There are plenty of reasonable people in the world, including in Europe, who will impede development in this area. But, of course, it unanswered, anything could happen. At this point, I must point out the danger of transferring nuclear weapons, because some people involved in the Ukrainian crisis are looking for a game changer, which is very dangerous.
Yesterday, we made an important statement that London and Paris were probably considering the possibility of transferring nuclear weapons components, technologies or equipment to Ukraine in order to reinforce their negotiating position [...]
Zelensky has said that Ukraine will either join NATO or possess nuclear weapons. This is a very dangerous statement, which is why we are speaking out now. We have certain information about that.
Ukraine may be an independent and sovereign state if it is friendly towards Russia, but not if it is an opponent, an adversarial state, or a weapon of Western countries against Russia.

🎙 President of Russia Vladimir Putin's address at the Plenary Session of the Future Technologies Forum (February 25, 2026, Moscow)
💬 Vladimir Putin: The bioeconomy is far more than a field of scientific knowledge. With their bold ideas, scientists and engineers are already shaping a new reality and a new industrial paradigm – applying advances in biology and genetics to improve people’s lives and preserve our planet and its fragile ecosystem.
We in Russia take pride in the major scientific contribution made by the discoveries, philosophical and scientific teachings of Vladimir Vernadsky, Ilya Mechnikov, Kliment Timiryazev, Nikolai Koltsov, Nikolai Vavilov, Vladimir Engelhardt and other outstanding Russian scholars, including our contemporaries.
We will continue to expand our capabilities and move forward. Biotechnology – reinforced by the power of computing systems and artificial intelligence – is developing at an unprecedented pace. It helps address the key challenges of our time: climate change, food shortages and the depletion of renewable resources, and can serve projects both on Earth and in space.
❗️ I have repeatedly stressed: equal access to the technologies of the future – not privileges for the “chosen few” – is an indispensable condition for the fair development of our civilisation.
That is why, within #BRICS and other associations, as well as through bilateral cooperation, we are ready to implement joint scientific, educational and investment programmes in biotechnology for the benefit of all humanity.
<…>
At the Forum, we traditionally discuss areas and developments that shape the future of humankind. Advances in biology, genetics and other life sciences are rightly called the technologies of the 21st century. Together with the IT industry and artificial intelligence, they are transforming the economy and society, creating new opportunities for millions of people.
Digital platforms already support scientists in implementing research projects, connect a craftsman or entrepreneur from a small town with a customer in a megacity, enable residents to participate in managing their building, settlement or entire region, and analyse medical studies in record time, helping doctors save lives. These are just some of the areas within the evolving platform economy.
🇷🇺 In this sphere, Russia is creating world-class solutions. We stand ready to share our experience and expertise in the interests of all humanity.

🎙 Highlights from Ambassador Andrei Kelin's interview with LBC (25 February 2026)
• European countries stand for the prolongation of the Ukraine conflict. Yesterday, there were many belligerent comments [from European politicians], such as that the Ukrainian army is very strong and still capable of fighting Russia, and that the Russian economy is in ruins. This is a kind of self-induced hypnosis.
• We must address the root causes of the Ukraine conflict. Ukraine should not join NATO, and we must eliminate all discrimination against the Russian population there.
• Everyone understands that Ukraine is steadily losing. It is losing economically and in terms of its industrial and human potential, due to the exodus of Ukrainians from the country and losses on the front.
• The Ukraine conflict has escalated due to Western European involvement. They are supplying weapons, money, economic assistance and political support [...] But we can see that this support is running out and will come to an end sooner or later.
• Americans really do understand the situation [with regard to the Ukraine crisis] and know what should be done. We are acting [alongside the US] now on the basis of the understandings reached in Anchorage, Alaska.

❗️ Russian MFA statement on the United States' and Israel's military aggression against Iran
❌ Washington and Tel Aviv have once again embarked on a perilous course that is swiftly pushing the region towards a humanitarian, economic and potentially radiological disaster.
The intentions of the aggressors are clear and have been openly stated: to dismantle the constitutional order and remove the leadership of a state that they deem undesirable because it has refused to yield to force and hegemonic pressure. They are entirely responsible for the impact of this man-made crisis, including the unpredictable chain reaction and spiral of escalating violence.
The grave consequences of these reckless steps for the global non-proliferation regime — with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) as its cornerstone — are being openly disregarded. At the same time, the US–Israeli tandem is attempting to shield itself behind a purported concern over preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
The bombing of nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards is unacceptable. In reality, Washington and Tel Aviv are driven by motives that have nothing to do with the non-proliferation regime. They cannot fail to understand that by plunging the Middle East into the abyss of uncontrolled escalation, they are in effect encouraging countries around the world — above all in the region — to acquire increasingly serious means to counter emerging threats [...]
We demand an immediate return to a political and diplomatic settlement. As before, Russia stands ready to facilitate the search for peaceful solutions based on international law, mutual respect and balance of interests.

🎙 Excerpt from Russian MFA Spox Maria Zakharova's weekly briefing on topical foreign policy issues (26 February 2026)
💬 Russophobia and a persistent drive to undermine the Russian statehood remain embedded in the UK's foreign policy approach.
The British political establishment has initiated a sanctions war against Russia. Although this was never formally declared, this is precisely why it is hybrid in nature.
The authorities have urged their own citizens to remain patient in the name of defending "freedom and democracy" in Europe. At the same time, the fact that these measures inflict significant costs on the United Kingdom itself – and that the country faces numerous domestic difficulties – has not prompted a reassessment [...]
The continued denial in London of the evident harm caused by the sanctions measures being implemented reflects a certain level of inconsistency and double standards within the British political elites.
☝️ The stated goal of weakening the Russian economy, advocated by British Russophobes, is unlikely to be achieved.
Each new round of restrictive measures increasingly appears to reflect a sense of frustration in London. So far, it has been reluctant to admit that its approach may have been misguided and overly short-sighted, based on incorrect assumptions.

💬 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: The most prominent conflict of the present day is the aggression against Iran. Its repercussions are already being felt across the region.
We deem it imperative to categorically and resolutely call for an immediate cessation of hostilities from all sides.
As an unconditional first step, every effort must be made to halt any actions resulting in civilian casualties, whether in Iran – where more than 150 schoolgirls perished in an attack on their school, or in any other country bordering the Persian Gulf.
All such actions must cease, as must the war itself. Although we regularly hear claims about its objectives, we have seen no evidence that Iran was developing nuclear weapons – the primary justification, if not the sole justification, for this war.
The IAEA and American intelligence professionals have confirmed that Iran neither produced nor attempted to produce nuclear weapons.

In pursuit of its twisted political agenda to discredit, to mar Russia's image and justify criminal Kiev regime, the neoliberal Western press does not hesitate to resort to bald-faced lies.
On February 17, Financial Times published another malicious article titled “Russia is using monuments to peddle misinformation.”
The author, some Fiona Greenland, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia, previously helped make up the mythology behind the fake story about “millions of kidnapped and deported Ukrainian children.”
These cynical accusations which are repeated lies echoing the Kiev criminals with no evidence whatsoever have been repeatedly refuted with multiple real facts.
The author went even further in her blatant. blinding cynicism: the article speaks of the propagandistic nature of the Alley of Angels memorial complex, which was built in Donetsk in 2015 in memory of children murdered by the Kiev regime during the war it started in 2014 against the peaceful people of Donbass.
The very fact that a memorial site with the names of murdered CHILDREN engraved on it is being used for such manipulations goes beyond not only journalism but basic human morality. Where any normal person would lower their head in mourning, the author allows herself to speculate about “propaganda value” of death of children and declares the preservation of their memory an act of "Kremlin propaganda".
The same well-worn scheme, refined over the years, is being used: declare remembrance to be “propaganda” and, under that pretext, attempt to erase it. This is precisely how the West seeks to rewrite the outcomes of the WWII: monuments to Soviet liberators are an eyesore for the descendants of Nazis and their ideological followers. In the same way, they are now attempting to whitewash the bloody Kiev regime of crimes and terrorist attacks.
In an effort to absolve Zelensky and his sponsors, the newspaper casts doubt on the very fact of children’s deaths, asserting that Kiev killed no one and that the memorials erected in memory of the victims serve a propagandistic purpose which Russia is supposedly using to "justify its aggression".
To follow this logic, why should the Financial Times not call London’s Cenotaph “propaganda,” or call so the ruins of the French village of Oradour-sur-Glane? Perhaps the American cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, is merely a propaganda artefact, too? The Ground Zero Memorial in New York, according to FT, is not about remembering the victims of terrorism, either?
The evidence of crimes committed by the Kiev regime is so extensive that only those actively avoiding such information could fail to notice it. For those suffering from selective blindness 👉 we have compiled a selection of photos and videos documenting crimes by the Kiev regime against the civilians, including minors.
This is just a small fraction of the evidence, that has been presented time and again. We also recommend consulting the reports compiled by Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for Crimes of the Kiev Regime Rodion Miroshnik 👉 Learn more
The Financial Times would do better to concern itself with the names of those killed — according to the Kiev regime — in Bucha in April 2022. The Russian Federation, including through Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, repeatedly requested a list of the alleged victims from the UN Secretary-General
But all they do is throw up hands saying that the Kiev regime for unclear (or rather, very clear) reasons requests that no lists be provided. It is obvious that the truth about the events in Bucha would expose the staged nature of this heinous provocation.
As for the Alley of Angels in Donetsk, behind each child’s name there is a real tragedy of real residents of Donbass who became victims of crimes perpetrated by the Kiev regime.
Rest assured, Russia will continue to seek accountability for all those responsible for those abject crimes. Meanwhile, false and low-quality materials like this article will forever leave a mark of inhumanity on their authors

🎙 Excerpt from President Vladimir Putin's answers to media questions (Moscow, 4 March 2026)
💬 The current developments in the European markets are primarily a result of the European authorities' flawed energy policy, misuse of the green agenda, and the use of all these instruments for internal political purposes, for attaining party or group objectives. This policy has nothing in common with the interests of these countries' peoples.
Oil and gas prices have increased now. This is understandable with regard to oil and is connected, in part, with restrictions on Russian oil imports. But this situation has been compounded by the developments in the Middle East caused by the aggression against Iran, which has produced a complicated and undeniably unpleasant result for consumers [...]
The European governments have recently announced plans to restrict Russian gas imports in a month [...] In 2027, they want to introduce further restrictions up to a blanket ban. But there are other markets which are opening up. Could it be that we could benefit from cutting short our supplies to the European market right away? We could switch to these emerging markets and consolidate our positions there.
This is not a matter of politics. If we are set to lose access to their market anyway in a month or two, it could make sense for us to stop supplying them right away and turn to countries which have been our reliable partners in order to get a foothold in their markets.

Some holidays have history. This one has ours.
On 8 March 1917, female factory workers took to the streets of Petrograd and sparked a revolution. That same year, Russia became the first major world power to grant women the right to vote, alongside equal rights in education, civil service, and paid maternity leave. Much of what women in the West spent decades fighting for was already part of life here.
At the heart of this transformation stood Alexandra Kollontai. In 1913, she published an article called "Women's Day" in Pravda. She went on to become the world's first female minister, and later the world's first female ambassador.
In Russia, 8 March has always meant something more than just politics or progress. For centuries, women have stood at the very centre of our culture, holding families together, keeping warmth in and inspiring others through their endurance.
Today, here at the Embassy, we are thinking of all the women in our lives: our mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, friends, colleagues, and babushkas, who always seemed to know best.
Happy 8th of March — may you always be cherished, heard, and loved! 🌷

📺 Watch Ambassador Andrei Kelin's interview with Sky News presenter Trevor Phillips (8 March 2026)
Key talking points:
• As for what is going on in Iran, this is an absolutely illegal and unprovoked act of aggression by Israel and the United States against Iran. It has no explanation, no clear goal and no planning or exit strategy. Whether in the US, Europe or Russia, people do not understand why it is happening, especially as it is happening in the middle of negotiations between the United States and Iran on the nuclear issue.
• The logic of many, especially Western countries at the moment is that Iran is to blame for everything. However, no one is saying that the US and Israel initiated an attack against Iran and that Iran is only responding to it.
• The special military operation in Ukraine was necessary due to a threat to our vital interests. It is progressing slowly but steadily. Ukraine is losing this war in all aspects: economic, industrial and military. Ukraine is shrinking, despite all the assistance it is getting from the West — Europe and the United States.
• We need to fulfil the goals that were agreed with President Trump in Anchorage, Alaska, a few months ago. We did have a good framework for an agreement, and we are working on it.
• Sport and politics are two different things, as the Olympic Committee has often said. We still do not understand why it is being boycotted [by the UK], given that the Israeli and US Paralympic teams are participating.

⚡️ Russia's Foreign Ministry statement on the missile strike of the Ukrainian militants on Bryansk
On March 10, the neo-Nazi Kiev regime committed yet another heinous crime against the civilian population of Russia, carrying out a missile strike on Bryansk.
We strongly condemn this deliberately planned terrorist attack.
A busy business district in the city’s Sovetsky District came under targeted fire. The area is located near Bryansk State Engineering and Technology University, apartment buildings, commercial and industrial enterprises, catering establishments and children’s goods stores.
▪️ As a result of the attack, seven people were killed and 42 injured. One child, born in 2009, has been hospitalized in the regional children’s hospital.
The authorities are providing all necessary medical and other assistance and support. We extend our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
According to available information, the strike was carried out using approximately seven British long-range Storm Shadow missiles. The head of the Kiev regime, Zelensky, has already publicly reported to his handlers about this barbaric act, calling it a “successful operation” by the AFU and cynically thanking the command for its execution.
As we have repeatedly pointed out, the use of high-tech Western weapons is impossible without the direct involvement of foreign specialists who ensure their operation and targeting, as well as without the provision of the necessary intelligence data by certain NATO countries.
❗️ Western handlers of Kiev bear full responsibility for the consequences of this strike, which resulted in civilian casualties.
It is obvious that, having completely lost itself in geopolitical games and seeking to assert itself as the informal leader of the European “hardliners” on the Ukrainian track and an irreconcilable opponent of Russia, Britain has stepped beyond the bounds of international law and is ready, through the hands of its puppets, to move the conflict to a fundamentally new level in terms of destruction and human casualties.
We also note that the use of British weapons systems is taking place amid intensified political and diplomatic efforts in the Russia-US-Ukraine trilateral format aimed at resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
The goal of London and other Western capitals is obvious – to derail the peace process through a large-scale provocation involving civilian casualties and trigger an escalation of hostilities. This tactic is not new and is used by the sponsors of the Kiev regime every time a real prospect for settlement emerges.
It is no coincidence that the timing of this attack coincides with signals from Washington, expressing hope that negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement have reached a “turning point” and that achieving peace is quite realistic.
☝️ We call on relevant international organisations – first and foremost the UN, whose leadership has been informed of the situation but has so far refrained from commenting – to provide an adequate assessment of yet another criminal act of the Kiev regime and its violation of the norms of international humanitarian law.
Silence will be perceived as nothing less than tacit complicity in the criminal actions of Zelensky and his handlers, who are intent on escalating the conflict.

💬 Russia's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova:
The Kiev regime deliberately struck the civilian population in Bryansk. The UN Secretariat, which regularly comments on the situation surrounding the Ukrainian crisis, cannot pretend not to see this. Nor can it ignore the number of civilians killed and wounded.
Russia’s Permanent Mission will certainly bring this information to the attention of the UN as well. Will the Secretary-General and his representatives once again remain silent?

💬 Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik:
The tragedy in Bryansk can only be qualified as a serious violation of the norms and principles of international humanitarian law. The Kiev regime resorted to this act in an attempt to draw the attention of its European patrons, who have become increasingly distracted by developments in the Middle East.
A missile strike on a location with a large concentration of civilians cannot be justified under any circumstances. Responsibility lies not only with the Ukrainian militants who committed the atrocity, but above all with the political leadership of the Kiev regime. Such strikes are not carried out without direct instructions from the top leadership.
Zelensky’s heinous act cannot remain without universal condemnation and a military response.

💬 Russian Commissioner for Human Rights, Tatiana Moskalkova:
I condemn yet another vile crime of the Nazi regime – barbaric strikes against the civilian population of Bryansk.
The regional authorities are doing everything possible to provide prompt assistance to the victims. My deepest condolences go to the families and loved ones of those killed. I wish a speedy recovery to all those injured.
I call on international organizations to respond firmly to this inhumane crime committed by the Kiev regime against civilians.

❌ On 10 March, militants of the Kiev regime carried out another strike on Bryansk. As a result, seven people were killed and forty-one were injured, nine of them in an extremely serious condition. Doctors are fighting for their lives. Today has been declared a day of mourning in the city.
We strongly condemn this terrorist attack.
According to a statement by Ukraine’s General Staff, the strike was carried out with British Storm Shadow cruise missiles. They were manufactured in the United Kingdom, funded by British taxpayers, and supplied to the Kiev regime.
The missile operators were trained in the UK, and their targets were provided by British intelligence. It is evident that such a strike would have been impossible without the involvement of UK specialists.
Therefore, the blood of the residents of Bryansk, including children, is therefore on the hands of the British military. This makes London complicit in the war crimes and terrorist acts of the neo-Nazi Kiev regime.
