💬 Результаты пребывания главы Форин Офиса Д.Лэмми в компании американского коллеги Э.Блинкена в украинской столице свидетельствуют о продолжающейся увлечённости Лондона погоней за несбыточной целью нанесения нашей стране «стратегического поражения».
В июле лейбористы пришли к власти на запросе британского общества на перемены. Теперь же не нашли ничего лучшего, как открыть свой первый же политический сезон уже набившими оскомину при их предшественниках ритуальными заверениями в намерении «стоять до конца» с дискредитировавшим себя преступным режимом В.Зеленского.
Упрямые факты на земле, свидетельствующие о провале курской вылазки ВСУ и планомерном продвижении российских войск в Донбассе, не приводят к пересмотру Лондоном своей заведомо ошибочной и разрушительной политики.
Под сбивчивый экскурс в историю то ли «российского империализма», то ли британской работорговли Киеву обещают всё новые транши помощи и денег. Эти вложения, как и все предыдущие, быстро «сгорят» в зоне СВО или, что вероятнее, растворятся в бездонных карманах коррумпированных украинских элит.
☝️ Они никак не помогут рядовым британцам, готовящимся всё туже затягивать пояса в условиях приближающейся зимы. Пора признать, что выполнение предвыборных обещаний по перезапуску британской экономики и повышению уровня жизни в стране несовместимо с продолжением геополитических авантюр «по доверенности» из Вашингтона.
При этом, стремясь переломить неблагоприятную для их киевской клиентуры динамику на поле боля, британские власти, похоже, близки к тому, чтобы уйти на очередной весьма опасный виток в спирали эскалации. Они всё глубже увязают в расставленных ими же конфронтационных силках, проматывая своё международное реноме и вписывая себя в историю в качестве спонсора террористов и мародёров ВСУ.
❗️ Призываем Лондон, трезво проанализировав ход и перспективы конфликта, прекратить жертвовать благосостоянием собственных граждан, жизнями тысяч простых украинцев, международной и европейской стабильностью, а также побудить к этому своих американских союзников.

💬 The outcomes of UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy's visit to Kiev in the company of his American counterpart Antony Blinken reflect London's continued obsession with the unattainable goal of inflicting a "strategic defeat" on our country.
This July, the Labour Party came to power on the back of the British public's demands for change. Yet, the new government has chosen to inaugurate its first political season with the tired repetitive assurances of "making a stand" alongside the discredited and criminal Zelensky regime.
The hard facts on the ground, namely the failure of the Ukrainian military’s Kursk incursion and the steady advance of the Russian forces in Donbass, have so far not prompted London to reconsider its fundamentally flawed and destructive policy.
Instead, amid a baffling recap of the history of either "Russian imperialism" or the British slave trade, Kiev received promises of additional tranches of aid and funds. These investments, like all the previous ones, will likely go up in smoke in the Special Military Operation zone or, more probably, disappear down the bottomless pockets of the corrupt Ukrainian elites.
☝️ They will provide no relief to ordinary Brits, who are preparing to tighten their belts as winter approaches. It is time to acknowledge that fulfilling pre-election promises to revitalise the British economy and improve living standards is incompatible with the continuous entanglement in Washington’s geopolitical "proxy" ventures.
Moreover, in an attempt to reverse the unfavourable dynamics for their Kiev clientele, British authorities appear to be edging toward a new, highly perilous phase of escalation. They are increasingly becoming ensnared in confrontational traps of their own making, further tarnishing their international reputation and becoming known as sponsors of terrorists and marauders from the Ukrainian armed forces.
❗️ We advise London to soberly assess the trajectory and prospects of the conflict and to cease sacrificing the well-being of its own citizens, the lives of thousands of ordinary Ukrainians, as well as international and European stability. Their American allies should be encouraged to do the same.

❓ Question: Over the past few days, we have been hearing statements at a very high level in the UK and the United States that the Kiev regime will be allowed to strike targets deep inside Russian territory using Western long-range weapons.
Apparently, this decision is either about to be made, or has already been made, as far as we can see. This is actually quite extraordinary. Could you comment on what is going on?
💬 Vladimir Putin: What we are seeing is an attempt to substitute notions. Because this is not a question of whether the Kiev regime is allowed or not allowed to strike targets on Russian territory. It is already carrying out strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles and other means. But using Western-made long-range precision weapons is a completely different story.
The fact is that – I have mentioned this, and any expert, both in our country and in the West, will confirm this – the Ukrainian army is not capable of using cutting-edge high-precision long-range systems supplied by the West. They cannot do that.
These weapons are impossible to employ without intelligence data from satellites which Ukraine does not have. This can only be done using the European Union’s satellites, or US satellites – in general, NATO satellites. This is the first point.
The second point – perhaps the most important, the key point even – is that only NATO military personnel can assign flight missions to these missile systems. Ukrainian servicemen cannot do this.
☝️ Therefore, it is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is about deciding whether NATO countries become directly involved in the military conflict or not.
If this decision is made, it will mean nothing short of direct involvement – it will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are parties to the war in Ukraine.
This will mean their direct involvement in the conflict, and it will clearly change the very essence, the very nature of the conflict dramatically.
❗️ This will mean that NATO countries – the United States and European countries – are at war with Russia.
And if this is the case, then, bearing in mind the change in the essence of the conflict, we will make appropriate decisions in response to the threats that will be posed to us.

В следствие этого шесть британских «дипломатов» были лишены аккредитации МИД России.
Как Вы прокомментируете действия Лондона?
💬 М.В.Захарова: Полностью разделяем выраженные ФСБ России оценки деятельности британских «дипломатов». Посольство Британии вышло далеко за пределы, очерченные Венскими конвенциями. Но важнее всего то, что речь идёт не только о формальной стороне вопроса и несоответствии заявленной деятельности, а о подрывных акциях, нацеленных на нанесение ущерба нашему народу.
В мае правительство Британии, действуя в логике враждебных шагов, нацеленных на ограничение нашего дипприсутствия в этой стране, безосновательно в одностороннем порядке ввело ограничение на срок аккредитации российских дипломатов, вынудив тем самым ряд должностных лиц Посольства России досрочно покинуть Лондон.
Это дискриминационное решение англичан, очевидно, преследовало цель ограничить функциональные возможности российской дипмиссии. Неоднократно предупреждали Лондон, что любые недружественные акции не останутся без должной реакции.
В августе британская сторона была проинформирована о том, что в качестве ответной меры на принудительное завершение командировок российских дипломатов с 1 сентября прекращается аккредитация шести дипломатических сотрудников посольства Британии в Москве. Данное решение принято с учетом имеющихся у российских компетентных органов веских оснований полагать, что работа упомянутых лиц выходит за рамки дипломатической деятельности, предусмотренной Венской конвенцией о дипломатических сношениях 1961 года.
☝️ Хотели бы особо подчеркнуть, в Москве не потерпят деятельности на территории России незаявленных сотрудников британских спецслужб. Наша бескомпромиссная линия в данном вопросе будет формулироваться в соответствии с интересами национальной безопасности.

If anyone in the UK, the US or other Western countries still hopes to use our non-systemic opposition, which obviously does not work as an opposition but as agents of influence, to encourage it to violent protests or to greater madness, including in connection with various elections, then it will not work.
❗️ Such calculations are doomed to failure from the very beginning. Russian society, perfectly understanding the goals of such malicious activity of Washington, London and their satellites, is only becoming more united and resistant to the machinations of our enemies.
No one today has any doubts that the US, Britain and the entire NATO community are behind all the terrorist attacks that are carried out on the territory of our country.
At the same time, we are fully aware that the UK and the US will continue to use every available tool of confrontation against Russia, having been designated by the Western nations as their primary enemy and adversary for the foreseeable future.
The flow of weapons to the criminal Kiev regime will only intensify, pushing it to fight to the last Ukrainian. It’s clear that the West aims to isolate and weaken our country as much as possible, ideally reshaping it according to its own model and on its terms.

❌ Категорически неприемлемы оскорбительные высказывания главы Форин Офиса Д.Лэмми, который в эфире одного из британских телеканалов 15 сентября договорился до того, что упрекнул руководство Российской Федерации в «империалистическом фашизме».
Давно отфиксировали склонность нынешнего мининдел к неуместным эпатажным заявлениям, которыми он запомнился ещё до прихода во власть. Зацикленность лейбориста на том, чтобы клеймить «фашистами» любых идеологических оппонентов без разбора, в прошлом уже вызывала недоумение у широкой аудитории, в том числе союзников Британии. <...>
Своими выпадами Д.Лэмми оскорбляет не столько руководство нашей страны, сколько память всех тех, кто сражался с «коричневой чумой» в годы Второй мировой войны, включая своих же соотечественников. <...>
В этом контексте Д.Лэмми, если быть последовательным, следует обратить внимание на то, что курируемые, финансируемые и вооружаемые Лондоном украинские боевики воюют, в т.ч. в Курской области, под нацистскими штандартами и с фашистскими шевронами, о чём пишут уже и в британской «Таймс».
В повседневную жизнь в Незалежной внедряется украинский ультранационализм. В составе ВСУ имеется ряд подразделений, исповедующих фашистскую идеологию. Принимаются законы, отрицающие русский язык и национальные меньшинства. Полным ходом идёт истребление канонической Украинской православной церкви. А главари киевского режима, за которых радеет Д.Лэмми, агитируя за поставки ВСУ дальнобойных ракетных вооружений, публично заявляют, что без Украины в Крыму и Донбассе «цивилизации не будет» и призывают жителей этих регионов забыть слово «русские».
🤦 Что же касается обвинений в «империализме», то они звучат как минимум странно из уст министра иностранных дел Соединённого Королевства, имеющего богатую историю и опыт в этом плане. Впрочем, вольный подход к дипломатической лексике и трактовке исторических событий, похоже, становится «визитной карточкой» руководителя Форин Офиса.

❌ The Embassy strongly rejects UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy's derogatory remarks articulated on September 15 during an interview with a British TV channel when he went so far as to accuse the leadership of the Russian Federation of "imperialist fascism".
We took note long ago of the current Foreign Secretary's propensity for inappropriate and provocative statements, which he had been known for even before assuming office.
The Labour politician's fixation on indiscriminately labeling ideological opponents as "fascists" had previously bewildered many, including among Britain's allies. <...>
David Lammy's remarks mainly offend not the leadership of our country but rather the memory of those who fought against the "brown plague" during World War II, including his own compatriots. <...>
In this context David Lammy, acting consistently, should have taken note that Ukrainian militants, which London supports, funds and arms, are fighting under Nazi banners and with fascist chevrons, including in the Kursk region, something even The Times freely admits.
Ultra-nationalism is increasingly defining daily life in Ukraine. The Ukrainian armed forces comprise a number of units adherent to fascist ideology. Laws are enacted that suppress the Russian language and the rights of national minorities. Total eradication of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church is underway.
Meanwhile, the leaders of the Kiev regime, which David Lammy wishes to furnish with long-range missiles, have stated on record that "there will be no civilisation" in Crimea and Donbass without Ukraine and demand that local residents of these regions forget the word "Russians".

ℹ️ The history of the Zaporozhskaya NPP (ZNPP) dates back to 1977 when the Council of Ministers of the #USSR adopted a decision on its construction. Site works began in 1979. In 1984, Unit 1 of the plant was put into operation. In 1985-1987, another three units were put into operation, and in 1988 an expansion project was approved for the construction of two more reactors.
🇷🇺 At the ZNPP site, six Soviet-design power units with VVER reactors were constructed and put into operation. Atomenergoproekt (Moscow) acted as chief designer of the project, Kurchatov Institute (Moscow) – was its scientific coordinator, Gidropress (Podolsk, Moscow region) supplied the reactor installations.
The equipment for the power plant was manufactured by enterprises in Leningrad (reactor vessels were manufactured by the Izhora Plants) and Volgodonsk (earthquake-resistant refuelling machines).
☝️ Thus, the Russian Federation is the owner of the project and technologies, and has the whole set of documentation, regarding Zaporozhskaya Nuclear power plant.
As a result of the referendum held in late September 2022, the Zaporozhskaya region,where the ZNPP is located, has joined the Russian Federation. The plant has come under Russian jurisdiction.
Before the ZNPP came under Russian jurisdiction, Ukrainian authorities had carried out a number of questionable experiments involving the use in the plant's reactors of nuclear fuel that was neither in compliance with its engineering design nor initially agreed upon with the Russian organization that had designed the ZNPP.
⚛️ Maintenance and repair at the plant are being carried out in 2024 as scheduled (as previously in 2023). The plant equipment damaged as a result of shellings by the AFU was repaired. <...> Measures were also undertaken to ensure uninterrupted water supply to essential consumers of the systems of the ZNPP power units, as the dam of the Kakhovskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant had been destroyed as a result of Ukrainian shellings. Now the water level in the said pond is stable.
Currently, the Zaporozhskaya NPP operates all standard radiation monitoring systems, except for three of them, which were destroyed by the armed forces of Ukraine, and two, which are situated on the right bank of the river Dnepr,
controlled by Ukraine.
The Russian Side has undertaken compensating measures. Radiation and technological monitoring of basic equipment and technological systems of power units, radiation-dosimetry monitoring of staff exposure, environment radiation monitoring, etc. are ensured. Radiation monitoring data are automatically transmitted to the IAEA Secretariat.
☝️ Russia takes all possible measures to ensure reliability and protection of the ZNPP, its robust operation, to curb threats to its security posed by Ukraine, strengthen its nuclear safety in accordance with national legislation and obligations undertaken, including Convention on Nuclear Safety and the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material and Nuclear Facilities.
The very fact of return of the plant to the Russian nuclear community represents a significant contribution to the nuclear safety and nuclear security of this NPP which is the largest in Europe.
❌ The primary threat to the ZNPP’s security comes from Ukraine that regularly attacks the plant and its infrastructure, and resorts to all kinds of provocations, including against staff of the ZNPP and family members, living in the city of Energodar.

The so-called second summit pursues the same goal: to enforce the completely unviable “Zelensky formula” as the sole basis (which apparently has no alternative) for resolving the conflict, persuading the Global Majority to support this formula while presenting Russia with an ultimatum demanding its surrender.

🇺🇳 On 24 September, the high-level General Debate of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly kicks off in New York. The Russian delegation will be helmed by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
He will participate in a number of high-level multilateral events, including those under the auspices of the CSTO, G20, BRICS, and the Group of Friends in Defence of the UN Charter. Minister Lavrov is set to hold a series of bilateral meetings, including a conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The Russian delegation's main tasks at the UNGA session will include efforts to restore and strengthen the UN's role as a guarantor of regional and global security, to uphold the goals and principles of the UN Charter, to expand cooperation with the Global Majority, to promote President Vladimir Putin's initiative to create a Eurasian security system and to counter the neo-colonial actions of Western countries.

Ukrainian crisis
Financial, technical and military assistance provided to Kiev by Western countries, including expanded arms supplies, is only protracting the Ukraine crisis and leading to its escalation. This policy makes the West an accomplice to the crimes of the neo‑Nazi regime.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, failing to reverse the dire situation on the battlefield, are retaliating by hitting civilians and civilian infrastructure in Russian border areas. All war crimes as well as terrorist attacks committed by the Kiev regime are carefully registered, and the perpetrators will be brought to judgement.
Moscow is open to dialogue on the political and diplomatic settlement of the crisis. <...>
❗️ However, at present, the Ukrainian authorities and their Western mentors seem unwilling to negotiate.
Instead, they are trying to enforce Zelensky's "peace formula," which makes a comprehensive, sustainable and just settlement even more difficult to achieve. The Western politicians are trying to lure the countries of the Global Majority into supporting this initiative, inviting them to participate in all sorts of so‑called peace conventions. We urge all sensible members of the international community not to fall for these provocations.
We take note of the engagement of the UN Secretariat's leadership in these counterproductive endeavours in violation of Article 100 of the UN Charter, which requires UN officials to maintain an equidistant position. By doing so, the Secretariat denies itself the opportunity to act as an honest mediator. <...>
In the context of the situation in Ukraine, we remain concerned that Western countries seek to undermine global efforts to combat the proliferation of weapons and sabotage international arms control arrangements.
☝️ The unrestrained "pumping" of the Kiev regime with weapons by NATO member states, which themselves admit the lack of capabilities to trace their further movement, increases the risks that these weapons will fall into the hands of terrorist groups and criminal organizations, spreading uncontrollably all over the world.
