Комментарий Посольства в связи с дезинформацией в британских СМИ об Общеобразовательной школе при российской дипмиссии в Лондоне

❌ Вызывает возмущение опубликованная 6 сентября в издании «Таймс» (а вслед за ней — и «Мэйл») клеветническая статья о деятельности Общеобразовательной школы при Посольстве России в Великобритании.

Вынесенные в заголовки броские обвинения в «милитаризации» учебного процесса носят провокационный характер и построены на сознательной фальсификации авторами сведений из находящихся в открытом доступе документов, регламентирующих деятельность школы. Эта дезинформация, в свою очередь, густо замешана на примитивных русофобских стереотипах.

Школа при Посольстве России в Лондоне – сертифицированное гражданское образовательное учреждение, которое предоставляет услуги в полном соответствии с российским и британским законодательством.

Она действует уже более полувека и не прекращала свою работу даже в разгар «холодной войны». Её безупречная репутация основана на высоких образовательных стандартах, исключительном профессионализме педагогического состава и индивидуальном подходе к обучению.

☝️ Усматриваем цель публикаций в британских СМИ в том, чтобы разрушить этот наработанный десятилетиями авторитет.

Происходящее свидетельствует о неуклонной деградации журналистских стандартов некогда респектабельных британских СМИ. В стремлении поддержать на плаву выдыхающуюся антироссийскую кампанию, к которой местная общественность во многом утратила интерес, репортёры не гнушаются низкопробными нападками на российских школьников, их родителей и учителей.

Эта ситуация весьма контрастирует с Россией, где созданы и обеспечиваются условия для успешной деятельности немалого числа англоязычных учебных заведений.

❗️ Вынуждены рассматривать данную выходку в контексте двусторонних российско-британских отношений как нарушение положений Венской конвенции о дипломатических сношениях 1961 года, а также базовых норм журналистской этики, принципов защиты частной жизни и персональных данных.

Embassy Comment on disinformation in the British media about the Russian Embassy School in London

❌ The Embassy is appalled by the slanderous article of September 6th in The Times (and subsequently in the Daily Mail) on the activities of the Russian Embassy School in London.

The flashy allegations of "militarisation" of the educational process, elevated to the headlines, are provocative in nature and based on the authors' deliberate distortion of information from publicly available documents regulating the activities of the school. This disinformation, in turn, is heavily laced with primitive Russophobic stereotypes.

The Russian Embassy School in London is a certified civil educational institution that provides services in full compliance with Russian and British legislation.

It has been operating for over half a century and did not cease to function even at the height of the Cold War. Its impeccable reputation is based on high educational standards, the exceptional professionalism of the faculty members and a tailored approach to pupils.

☝️ In their publications the relevant British media seem to be intent on destroying this reputation, which has been built up over decades.

This further highlights the steadily degrading journalistic standards of the once respectable British media. In an effort to sustain the fading anti-Russian campaign, which the local public has largely lost interest in, some reporters do not shy away from low-quality attacks on Russian schoolchildren, their parents and teachers.

This situation is in stark contrast to Russia, where conditions have been created and are maintained for the successful operation of a considerable number of English-language educational institutions.

❗️ The Embassy is obliged to consider this action in the context of bilateral Russia-UK relations as a violation of the provisions of the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, as well as the basic norms of journalistic ethics, the principles of privacy and personal data protection.

💬 We can see that the United States is doing everything to hold on to its global military and political dominance no matter the cost by utilising Ukraine and seeking to inflict a strategic defeat on our country.

The US and its satellites have been using the alleged Russian threat and the China containment policy as a pretext for building up their military presence along Russia’s western borders, as well as in the Arctic and in Asia-Pacific.

The US and its allies have made no secret of their plans to deploy intermediate and shorter-range missiles in the so-called forward deployment areas. They view islands in the Western Pacific, as well as several APR countries as priority vectors for these deployments. Meanwhile, the US armed forces have already held exercises to practice the way they will transfer and deploy their future missile systems in Asia-Pacific.

The purpose of these aggressive undertakings by the Washington consists of achieving a substantial edge in terms of its military capabilities, which would upend the existing security architecture in Asia-Pacific with a disruptive effect on the balance of power there.

❌ In fact, the United States is seeking to provoke an arms race, while disregarding the security interests of its European and Asian allies. This lays the groundwork for a dangerous crisis in Europe, as well as in the Asia-Pacific Region.

I would like to stress that Russia must be ready regardless of how this situation unfolds, while our Armed Forces must reliably defend Russia’s national sovereignty and interests, as well as to counter any possible military aggression no matter where it comes from, including in the ocean and at sea.

❗️ Считаем новые односторонние антироссийские ограничения, введённые Лондоном в связке с заокеанскими союзниками под несостоятельными предлогами, такими же бессмысленными и юридически ничтожными как и все предыдущие.

Они нисколько не повлияют ни на темпы достижения нами поставленных целей СВО, ни на динамику развивающихся связей России со странами мирового большинства.

Сожалеем, что санкционный ритуал, по инерции включаемый странами Запада в привязке к тем или иным информационным поводам, во многом подменил для них поиск взаимоприемлемых решений в международных делах на базе равноправия и взаимного уважения.

❗️ The most recent batch of unilateral anti-Russian restrictions, which London imposed jointly with its overseas allies under a spurious pretext, is as meaningless and legally void as the previous ones.

These measures will affect neither the pace at which objectives of the Special Military Operation are attained, nor the dynamic development of relations between Russia and countries of the Global Majority.

We regret that the sanctions ritual, habitually invoked by Western countries to coincide with various political highlights, has largely replaced their capacity to seek mutually acceptable international solutions based on equality and mutual respect.

By stifling its own economy with artificial constraints the new Labour Government is resolutely pursuing the futile policies of its predecessors. The results are already on display: while Russia's economy is projected to grow by nearly 4% this year, the UK economy remains stagnant at zero growth.

💬 Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov: We never wanted someone else's land.

We just wanted the people, who are an inalienable part of the Russian world and the Russian culture, language, history, and religion, to be treated as human beings as required under international law, numerous conventions on human rights and minority rights, and primarily the UN Charter.

The numerous ideas floating around the "Zelensky formula" usually start with the words that it is necessary to stop military operations and obey international law, meaning steps to ensure Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

International law is not only about this. Territorial integrity is guaranteed to states whose governments represent the entire population living in this or that territory. This is a resolution passed unanimously by the UN General Assembly. There is no need even to argue that the neo-Nazis in Kiev represented no one in eastern Ukraine, Novorossiya, and Crimea after the [2014] coup.

The main thing is that the UN Charter urges everyone to respect the rights of any person regardless of their race, sex, language, or religion. This is the root of the conflict in Ukraine. The rights of people adhering to Russian culture have been wiped out after the coup.

❌ Currently, the Russian language is outlawed in all spheres, including education, media, art, culture, and even everyday life. In addition, the Rada has approved a bill (and Zelensky signed it into law) that actually bans the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Комментарий Посольства в связи с итогами визита мининдел Британии Д.Лэмми в Киев

💬 Результаты пребывания главы Форин Офиса Д.Лэмми в компании американского коллеги Э.Блинкена в украинской столице свидетельствуют о продолжающейся увлечённости Лондона погоней за несбыточной целью нанесения нашей стране «стратегического поражения».

В июле лейбористы пришли к власти на запросе британского общества на перемены. Теперь же не нашли ничего лучшего, как открыть свой первый же политический сезон уже набившими оскомину при их предшественниках ритуальными заверениями в намерении «стоять до конца» с дискредитировавшим себя преступным режимом В.Зеленского.

Упрямые факты на земле, свидетельствующие о провале курской вылазки ВСУ и планомерном продвижении российских войск в Донбассе, не приводят к пересмотру Лондоном своей заведомо ошибочной и разрушительной политики.

Под сбивчивый экскурс в историю то ли «российского империализма», то ли британской работорговли Киеву обещают всё новые транши помощи и денег. Эти вложения, как и все предыдущие, быстро «сгорят» в зоне СВО или, что вероятнее, растворятся в бездонных карманах коррумпированных украинских элит.

☝️ Они никак не помогут рядовым британцам, готовящимся всё туже затягивать пояса в условиях приближающейся зимы. Пора признать, что выполнение предвыборных обещаний по перезапуску британской экономики и повышению уровня жизни в стране несовместимо с продолжением геополитических авантюр «по доверенности» из Вашингтона.

При этом, стремясь переломить неблагоприятную для их киевской клиентуры динамику на поле боля, британские власти, похоже, близки к тому, чтобы уйти на очередной весьма опасный виток в спирали эскалации. Они всё глубже увязают в расставленных ими же конфронтационных силках, проматывая своё международное реноме и вписывая себя в историю в качестве спонсора террористов и мародёров ВСУ.

❗️ Призываем Лондон, трезво проанализировав ход и перспективы конфликта, прекратить жертвовать благосостоянием собственных граждан, жизнями тысяч простых украинцев, международной и европейской стабильностью, а также побудить к этому своих американских союзников.

Embassy comment on the results of UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy's visit to Kiev

💬 The outcomes of UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy's visit to Kiev in the company of his American counterpart Antony Blinken reflect London's continued obsession with the unattainable goal of inflicting a "strategic defeat" on our country.

This July, the Labour Party came to power on the back of the British public's demands for change. Yet, the new government has chosen to inaugurate its first political season with the tired repetitive assurances of "making a stand" alongside the discredited and criminal Zelensky regime.

The hard facts on the ground, namely the failure of the Ukrainian military’s Kursk incursion and the steady advance of the Russian forces in Donbass, have so far not prompted London to reconsider its fundamentally flawed and destructive policy.

Instead, amid a baffling recap of the history of either "Russian imperialism" or the British slave trade, Kiev received promises of additional tranches of aid and funds. These investments, like all the previous ones, will likely go up in smoke in the Special Military Operation zone or, more probably, disappear down the bottomless pockets of the corrupt Ukrainian elites.

☝️ They will provide no relief to ordinary Brits, who are preparing to tighten their belts as winter approaches. It is time to acknowledge that fulfilling pre-election promises to revitalise the British economy and improve living standards is incompatible with the continuous entanglement in Washington’s geopolitical "proxy" ventures.

Moreover, in an attempt to reverse the unfavourable dynamics for their Kiev clientele, British authorities appear to be edging toward a new, highly perilous phase of escalation. They are increasingly becoming ensnared in confrontational traps of their own making, further tarnishing their international reputation and becoming known as sponsors of terrorists and marauders from the Ukrainian armed forces.

❗️ We advise London to soberly assess the trajectory and prospects of the conflict and to cease sacrificing the well-being of its own citizens, the lives of thousands of ordinary Ukrainians, as well as international and European stability. Their American allies should be encouraged to do the same.

❓ Question: Over the past few days, we have been hearing statements at a very high level in the UK and the United States that the Kiev regime will be allowed to strike targets deep inside Russian territory using Western long-range weapons.

Apparently, this decision is either about to be made, or has already been made, as far as we can see. This is actually quite extraordinary. Could you comment on what is going on?

💬 Vladimir Putin: What we are seeing is an attempt to substitute notions. Because this is not a question of whether the Kiev regime is allowed or not allowed to strike targets on Russian territory. It is already carrying out strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles and other means. But using Western-made long-range precision weapons is a completely different story.

The fact is that – I have mentioned this, and any expert, both in our country and in the West, will confirm this – the Ukrainian army is not capable of using cutting-edge high-precision long-range systems supplied by the West. They cannot do that.

These weapons are impossible to employ without intelligence data from satellites which Ukraine does not have. This can only be done using the European Union’s satellites, or US satellites – in general, NATO satellites. This is the first point.

The second point – perhaps the most important, the key point even – is that only NATO military personnel can assign flight missions to these missile systems. Ukrainian servicemen cannot do this.

☝️ Therefore, it is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is about deciding whether NATO countries become directly involved in the military conflict or not.

If this decision is made, it will mean nothing short of direct involvement – it will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are parties to the war in Ukraine.

This will mean their direct involvement in the conflict, and it will clearly change the very essence, the very nature of the conflict dramatically.

❗️ This will mean that NATO countries – the United States and European countries – are at war with Russia.

And if this is the case, then, bearing in mind the change in the essence of the conflict, we will make appropriate decisions in response to the threats that will be posed to us.

🎙 Ответ официального представителя МИД России М.В.Захаровой на вопрос СМИ о новых ответных мерах в связи с недружественными шагами правительства Британии

❓Вопрос: Сегодня ФСБ России заявила, что располагает документальными подтверждениями того, что ряд сотрудников посольства Британии в Москве занимался разведывательно-подрывной деятельностью, ведущей к эскалации военно-политической обстановки в мире. В следствие этого шесть британских «дипломатов» были лишены аккредитации МИД России.

Как Вы прокомментируете действия Лондона?

💬 М.В.Захарова: Полностью разделяем выраженные ФСБ России оценки деятельности британских «дипломатов». Посольство Британии вышло далеко за пределы, очерченные Венскими конвенциями. Но важнее всего то, что речь идёт не только о формальной стороне вопроса и несоответствии заявленной деятельности, а о подрывных акциях, нацеленных на нанесение ущерба нашему народу.

В мае правительство Британии, действуя в логике враждебных шагов, нацеленных на ограничение нашего дипприсутствия в этой стране, безосновательно в одностороннем порядке ввело ограничение на срок аккредитации российских дипломатов, вынудив тем самым ряд должностных лиц Посольства России досрочно покинуть Лондон.

Это дискриминационное решение англичан, очевидно, преследовало цель ограничить функциональные возможности российской дипмиссии. Неоднократно предупреждали Лондон, что любые недружественные акции не останутся без должной реакции.

В августе британская сторона была проинформирована о том, что в качестве ответной меры на принудительное завершение командировок российских дипломатов с 1 сентября прекращается аккредитация шести дипломатических сотрудников посольства Британии в Москве. Данное решение принято с учетом имеющихся у российских компетентных органов веских оснований полагать, что работа упомянутых лиц выходит за рамки дипломатической деятельности, предусмотренной Венской конвенцией о дипломатических сношениях 1961 года.

☝️ Хотели бы особо подчеркнуть, в Москве не потерпят деятельности на территории России незаявленных сотрудников британских спецслужб. Наша бескомпромиссная линия в данном вопросе будет формулироваться в соответствии с интересами национальной безопасности.

❗️Намерены и впредь жёстко и выверенно реагировать на любые недружественные действия Лондона. Призываем британскую сторону отказаться от контрпродуктивной и ущербной враждебной линии на российском направлении.
