💬 Dear women of Russia!
From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on International Women’s Day!
In our country, this wonderful holiday is traditionally filled with special warmth and sincerity. Today, words of love, gratitude and respect are heard everywhere. Our men express their appreciation to their mothers, wives, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, friends and colleagues, letting them know how much they are cherished and how deeply their contributions are valued, both at home and in the workplace, where they often take on complex professional challenges.
You truly do it all: taking care of children and scoring outstanding achievements in various fields, embodying both strength and grace, courage and tenderness, and winning us over again and again with your beauty and charm. You inspire men to strive for greatness, encouraging them to do better, to take bold steps and to be the true defenders of their families and homes, and our Motherland.
You hold within you life’s greatest miracle: the gift of bringing new life into the world. The tenderness and generosity of a mother’s heart and the warmth of a mother’s love transform the world and make it a better place. Motherhood is both an immense joy and a profound responsibility. We are fully aware of this and will continue to do our utmost so that mothers and families with children, especially large families, receive the support they need and see that their interests are always in the focus of the government’s attention.
My warmest words go to the women who are in places where it is most difficult right now, the participants in the special military operation. You are working in different spheres, including in field hospitals and on the front lines, doing your combat duty with distinction.
I would also like to say a few words for the women whose dear ones – husbands, fathers, brothers and loved ones – are defending the future of our country. Your heartfelt support and unfailing care, love and loyalty empower our men, strengthening their morale and the unwavering belief that the truth – and hence victory – is on our side.
Dear women!
We know that so much in life depends on you, on your talents, creative energy, love, and utmost responsibility with which you undertake any job. Once again, we are in awe of your beauty, kindness and grace.
I would like to wish success, health, well-being, and all the best to you and your loved ones. May you always find happiness alongside those you hold dear.

Выставка «Exquisite Elegance: Celebrating Sarafan Designs» – торжество русской культуры в Сингапуре
С 7 по 9 марта 2025 года Goh Loo Club превратился в настоящий уголок России, где гости смогли прикоснуться к красоте традиционного русского костюма. Выставка, организованная Русским Домом при поддержке Посольства, а также исполнительного председателя деловой ассоциации Impact of Asia Дерила Тана и ее почетного председателя Тан Диб Цзиня стала ярким событием, посвящённым Международному женскому дню.
Торжественное открытие состоялось 7 марта. С приветственным словом к гостям обратился Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол Российской Федерации в Республике Сингапур Н.Р.Кудашев. Он отметил, что выставка приурочена к празднованию Международного женского дня и подчеркнул:
«Облик и костюм российской женщины вобрал в себя традиции, культуру и ценности разных народов, населяющих наше Отечество, людей, порой принадлежащих к различным этно-конфессиональным и социальным группам. Именно способность к пассионарному синтезу, формированию общей объединительной повестки образует уникальную особенность российского духа, мировоззрения, образа жизни и культуры.»
Что запомнилось гостям?
📸Фотопортреты женщин в традиционных нарядах от Юлии Дуровой завораживали своей глубиной.
👗Изящные сарафаны и аксессуары из коллекций Анастасии Новиковой и Дарьи Ротаст вызвали восторг даже у самых притязательных ценителей моды.
🎶Фольклорная музыка в исполнении ансамбля «Толока» наполнила пространство духом русских традиций.
🍬Русские сувениры и сладости от Anna’s Gourmet Shop стали приятным подарком для гостей.
📅Программа выставки включала не только экспозиции, но и лекции.
8 марта дизайнер Анастасия Новикова рассказала о традиционных русских костюмах, а затем гости смогли примерить кокошники – многие были удивлены их весом и утончённой работой мастеров.
9 марта с лекцией о русских традициях и национальных нарядах выступила Дарья Ротаст.

Exquisite Elegance: Celebrating Sarafan Designs – A Tribute to Russian Culture in Singapore
From March 7 to 9, 2025, the Goh Loo Club transformed into a true corner of Russia, where visitors immersed themselves in the beauty of traditional Russian attire. Organized by Russian House in Singapore, withthe support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Singapore, as well as the Executive Chairman Mr Daryl Tan and its Honorary Chairman Mr Tan Dib Jib, this exhibition became a vibrant celebration of International Women’s Day.
Grand Opening – March 7
The event began with a special opening ceremony featuring a welcome speech by H.E. Nikolay Kudashev, Ambassador of Russia to Singapore. He highlighted the exhibition’s dedication to International Women’s Day and emphasized:
“The appearance and traditional dress of a Russian woman dress reflect the diverse cultural heritage of our homeland — a land where people of different ethnic, religious, and social backgrounds have long lived side by side. It is this unique ability to passionately synthesize diverse influences and forge a shared, unifying agenda that defines the Russian spirit, worldview, way of life, and culture.“
Highlights of the Exhibition
📸Photography Art Prints – Captivating portraits of women intraditional Russian attire by Yulia Durova.
👗Sarafans & Accessories – Exquisite collections by Anastasiia Novikova and Daria Rotast, admired by fashion enthusiasts.
🎶Folk Music – Beautifully recorded performances by Toloka Ensemble, bringing the essence of Russian traditions to life.
🍬Russian Souvenirs & Sweets – Delightful treatsfrom Anna’s Gourmet Shop, a favorite among visitors.
The event featured engaging lectures:
🔹March 8 – Designer Anastasiia Novikova spoke about the history of traditional Russian costumes, followed by a special kokoshnik try-on session—many guests were amazed by theirweight and intricate craftsmanship.
🔹March 9 – Daria Rotast gave an insightful lecture on Russian traditions and national attire, as well as performed Russian classical romance ballads.
