💬 FM Sergey Lavrov: The current events reflect the fundamental transition from centuries-old Western dominance to a more democratic multipolar world with better justice for all.

The West is doing everything it can to resist this trend by devising containment strategies and seeking to suppress its competitors, i.e., anyone acting independently in international affairs guided by their own national interests instead of following the so-called rules imposed by the United States and its allies.

The global majority refuses to live by the Western rules and stands for universal international norms with the UN Charter as their primary source of reference. Our objective consists of fulfilling all the principles contained in the Charter without exception and in full, rather than selectively, and considering their intertwined nature.

I paid attention to another “creative” product of J.Eyal, published in the Straits Times on June 4, 2023 under the title "Vladimir Putin: The indispensable weak Russian leader". This is certainly another example of irresponsible verbal balancing act.

If you trust the author, then the very existence of Russia and its powerful statehood, an advanced electoral system, a powerful economic and military-industrial complex, an enlightened, patriotic and enterprising people are just a consequence of the goodwill of the West and its compassionate attitude towards Russia, its President V.V.Putin and unwillingness to launch “regime change” in the Russian Federation.

Such statements just do not really fit with the facts. Apparently, the memory failed the author, busy with Russophobic writings, and he forgot about such "little things" as the unrestrained untwisting of confrontation aimed at weakening and subverting Russia, surrounding it with sanctions, feeding the destructive non-systemic opposition, interference in elections and direct spurring of mass anti-government demonstrations with the ultimate goal of decomposition and undermining the constitutional order.

And apparently only overwork can explain the fact that the author somehow forgot about the hybrid war unleashed by the West from the territory of Ukraine, which crowned its efforts to revive bloc confrontation in Europe and the world, designed to somehow stop the decline of Western hegemony and the processes of formation of humane and fair multipolar world.

Well, we condole with the author; we wish him a good rest. Meanwhile, I have to remind you that with its long and glorious existence, its convincing political and economic achievements, its well-deserved prestige on the world stage, its choice of own unique path of development and finally the election of President V.V.Putin, who enjoys popular sympathy and support, Russia owes itself, all the people and countries of the world majority, and not to the goodwill of the West. This fully applies to the events in Ukraine, the ongoing special military operation there, Western assessments of which are not accepted by the vast majority of humanity.

I would advise you not to forget about this, so that instead of a future multipolar world based on the principles of equality and cooperation, you do not end up in the caves of the Cold War under stalactites of confrontation and among the wreckage of scrapped Russophobia.

⚡️ On attempted Ukrainian terrorist attacks in Moscow and Moscow Region

On July 4, during morning hours, the Ukrainian neo-Nazis launched five unmanned aerial vehicles in terrorist attacks against Moscow and the Moscow Region. According to available information, this time they targeted civilian infrastructure, including a large international airport.

These attacks have been foiled thanks to the efficient operation of the Russian air defence and electronic warfare systems. Four drones were shot down and one went out of control and crashed. There are no reports of casualties or damage.

☝️ These attacks would have been impossible without the support provided to the Kiev regime by the #UnitedStates and its #NATO allies, which continue to pour weapons into Ukraine, including drones, train drone operators and provide intelligence information necessary for such crimes, including civilian and military satellite images.

❗️ All of this makes #Washington and its satellites accomplices to the preparation and implementation of terrorist attacks, which Kiev plans and implements using Western money and weapons.

⚠️ Comment by the Russian Ministry of Defence:

▪️ British Admiral Radakin's estimates of Russian armour losses published by the FT, jointly with the alleged loss of 'half its combat capability' of the Russian Armed Forces, are discouraging on the scale of the falsehood.

▪️ And all this against the background of lamentations of other British military commanders, and even Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace, about the total devastation of their own weapon reserves and hundreds of vehicles sent for the Ukrainian 'counteroffensive', but 'unexpectedly' burnt out when they came into contact with the allegedly 'lost combat capability' of the Russian troops.

▪️ Moreover, overpraised Storm Shadow cruise missiles are regrettably causing civilian fatalities by hitting civilian infrastructure more and more often. Otherwise, they may collapse without bursting frightening only steppe puffins.

▪️ All this British scrap metal supplied to the Kiev regime, after being remelted, yet to serve the new Russian regions quite well as raw materials during reconstruction work. And the microchips forged from the missiles could probably be inserted into Russian 'washing machines', as in tales Ursula von der Leyen was telling not so long ago.

▪️ All that remains in the absence of any results of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield, and now clearly in the lack of their prospects, is to fantasise about the 'loss of combat capability' of the Russian Armed Forces...

▪️ Most importantly, the British Defence Staff has long since requalified itself from a strategic analysis and planning agency to a BBC's non-organic branch. With such analytical skills as that of Admiral Radakin, the UK defence will not have water under its keel.

🌾 The approaching date of expiry (July 17) of the Black Sea Initiative on Ukrainian food exports, which cannot be extended without the consent of all the parties involved – Russia, Türkiye, and Ukraine – has caused another surge of propaganda activity on the part of Western countries, Kiev, and the UN Secretariat.

In this connection, it is necessary to reiterate the facts on the true state of affairs 👇

👉 Aimed at providing relief to destitute countries in #Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the Black Sea Initiative has degenerated into a purely commercial export of Ukrainian food to the well-fed countries. Of the 32.6 million tonnes of grain exported from the ports of Odessa, Chernomorsk, and Yuzhny since August 1, 2022, the greater part – 26.2 million tonnes, or 81 percent – was sent to countries with a high or higher-than-average level of incomes. The poorest countries received a mere 862,068 tonnes, or 2.6 percent.

👉 Against this background, the situation with normalising Russian food and fertiliser supplies to the world markets, as envisaged by the Russia-UN Memorandum, continued to decline. There are five systemic goals, which, if achieved, would have made it possible to remove these obstacles. They are as follows: reconnecting Rosselkhozbank to #SWIFT, resuming the supplies of spare parts for agricultural machinery, reviving the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline, making arrangements for transport logistics and insurance, and unfreezing financial assets. It looks like the first three have been removed from the agenda altogether, and there is no progress in view on the last two.

Under these circumstances, it is obvious that there are no grounds for extending the Black Sea Initiative, which expires on July 17.

The mass of publicly accessible data and information available to Russia suggests that the US has deliberately sought to unleash a proxy war and is siding with one party in the conflict with a view to achieving its central goal of inflicting a “strategic defeat” on Russia.

In this “division of labour”, the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev regularly provides cannon fodder in exchange for:

👉 unprecedented financial injections, some of which goes to line the pockets of Vladimir Zelensky and his entourage,
👉 supplies of arms and equipment, including high-tech combat hardware,
👉 supplies of full range of intelligence information by the Pentagon and #NATO structures,
👉 direct commanding of operations by the Armed Forces of #Ukraine.

▪️ In general, since February 24, 2022, the Biden administration has provided Kiev with more than $40 billion in military tecnical assistance, US instructors have trained 13,600 Ukrainian servicemen.

▪️Washington and its allies widely use space and aerial reconnaissance assets to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with information about the Russian Armed Forces. The orbital constellation includes about 450 satellites.

▪️ In addition to space systems, reconnaissance aircraft and UAVs, which perform daily flights from air bases in Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania and Türkiye, are widely used to monitor the situation.

▪️ At present, there are three American private military companies in the theatre of hostilities: the Mozart Group, the Sons of Liberty and Academi.

▪️ According to leaks in the media, the #US Special Operations Command supervises the work of the centres of information and psychological operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

▪️In turn, the Pentagon’s Cyber Command and the National Security Agency are planning and coordinating cyberattacks under the Ukrainian flag at Russia’s critical information infrastructure.

💬 Between two Nazi salutes to the Kiev regime, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas found a couple of minutes in her busy schedule to record a solemn video message in support of anonymous internet trolls from NAFO, the North Atlantic Fella Organization. Kallas waxed lyrical about the “humour, intelligence and enthusiasm” of the fighters against “Russian disinformation” and thanked them “for their service.”

Let us take a closer look at these intellectual comedians.

The community first announced itself on Twitter in May 2022. The “fellas” loudly proclaimed their goal of supporting Ukraine and “countering Russian propaganda with the help of memes.” In reality, the whole struggle came down to a pack (a usual tactic for rabid neo-Nazi activists) harassing all insufficiently pro-Ukrainian commentators on Twitter and everyone who doubted the line of Washington and Brussels in general, as well as, as they say, to shitposting. If these comedians come across tough nuts who would not give in to a tsunami of waste, then the “fellas” would bombard the social network’s administration with tons of complaints in order to get the victim’s account blocked.

Anthony Burgess explored ultraviolence in his novel A Clockwork Orange, which was then brought to the screen under the same title by Stanley Kubrick. Watch it: it is just about the inner world of such bandits.

The group has become known for its truly cannibalistic antics like those at yesterday’s “NAFO Summit in Vilnius” (apparently, warming up for their senior comrades from NATO, who will gather there for their summit in a couple of days). A plush toy shark was brought onto the stage amid hooting and idiotic laughter to once again make fun of the recent tragedy involving a Russian in Hurghada. This disgusting meeting, by the way, was noted by Foreign Minister of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis, who, of course, also appreciated the “humour and intelligence” of NATO protégés. At the same time, progressive Europeans are very proud that “fellas” is a gender-neutral word. In the context of this orgy, the name “cannibals” would be more appropriate.

NAFO personifies exactly what the EU has seemed to be fighting until recently: hate speech, intolerance, trolling, spam, bullying, and all possible forms of xenophobia.

Now the Estonian prime minister is openly showering this internet scum with gratitude, although it seems that until recently the “advanced” Western democracies were hysterical over mythical “pro-Kremlin trolls” who, in their morbid fantasies, allegedly interfered literally in all processes of state administration abroad.

This is the essence of the West’s innate hypocrisy, which they now prefer to call a rules-based order. And the rule “this is a son of a bitch, but this is our son of a bitch” has been updated. The new version is: “we ourselves will become sons of bitches, if only to spite Russia.”

Eurasian integration. Current achievements

According to the recent report of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) the Eurasian Economic Union has clearly made some progress towards enhancing its international posture through continued delivering its step-by-step action plan to expand the bloc by balancing and coordination state legislation, welcoming new forms of cooperation with members and new actors, and by making preferential trade agreements with partners worldwide. These integrative efforts have produced positive effects for EAEU economies and their people’s living standards. Since the establishment of the Eurasian Union, its combined GDP (PPP) has fluctuated within 5.5–5.7% of the global GDP. In current prices, this number has not been higher than 2.2% over the same period. Trade between EAEU member states over that same period increased by 28.5% in monetary terms compared to 2013, totaling $73.1 billion in 2021. The trade turnover with third countries declined by 3.1% to $846.4 billion,185 indicating that EAEU countries have become more important for each other as trading partners. On the other hand, there has been no change in physical trade volumes within the EAEU. Higher monetary value of intraEAEU trade is driven by rising global prices of goods and a changing commodity mix that has shifted towards higher added-value and more lightweight products. One increasingly significant component of Eurasian economic integration is the establishment of a new, or the modification of existing development institutions on the national, as well as the Eurasian level. Amid sanctions and the Covid-19 pandemic EAEU economies, have nevertheless learnt, over the span of the Union, to cope with economic crises and do it better than other nations. They demonstrated such resilience in 2022; actual growth rates of EAEU economies exceeded the forecast and, similarly, the reduction of the combined GDP will most likely be smaller than expected. Externally, since 2015, the EAEU has signed free trade agreements with Vietnam, Serbia, Iran and Singapore (not yet in effect). There is also a non-preferential agreement with China.

Meeting of the group of friends in defence of the UN charter

Heads of Missions of DPRK, Iran, Laos, Russia and Venezuela, along with representatives from embassies of Angola and China had an informal meeting in Singapore on July 10, 2023.

An in-depth exchange of views was held on topical issues on the global agenda in line with the communique of the Group adopted on July 6, 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The participants discussed the attempts to replace the tenets enshrined in the UN Charter with a so-called “rules-based order”, not discussed or accepted by the wide UN membership. These attempts produce double standards and advance political agenda of dubious nature in clear contempt for international advice political agenda of dubious nature in clear contempt for international legality and in disregard for the common good of collective interests of the people of the UN.

Ambassador Nikolay Kudashev in his remarks called for redoubling efforts towards the democratization of international relations and transition to the multipolar world as well as strengthening of multilateralism globally and in Asia Pacific specifically with a special emphasis of upholding ASEAN Centrality.

He emphasized the inadmissibility of unilateral coercive measures that are illegal and serve purely as tools for political or economic and financial pressure against any country.

The participants agreed to continue regular meetings of the Group in Singapore.
