The West’s neocolonial policy in Africa
The West is deliberately pursuing a policy of increasing African countries' dependence in a wide range of areas - financial and economic policy, food and energy security, healthcare, and stability of the public administration system.
There is an increasing exploitation of the resources of African countries, including demographic ones. The fragmentation of the world economy and increased competition for resources make it necessary for the EU, in particular, to increase investment in African countries. But this investment is not for Africans. Their goal is to ensure the sustainable development of the European Union, not Africa. The maximum that is offered in return is programs aimed at creating conditions for training of the labour force required to service the mining and transport infrastructure necessary for the EU.
In this way, the West seeks to secure a subordinate position of Africa in the bloc confrontation between “democracies” and “autocracies” that it imposes on the world community. In fact, it seeks to reduce Africa to the role of a raw materials appendage, providing guaranteed access of the West to raw materials in exchange for limited access to certain "benefits" of Western civilization.
The EU's Global Gateway initiative is of key importance in this regard. This is a tool to ensure the interests of the collective West to the detriment of the world majority. Its essence boils down to the fact that countries that rely on EU investment in infrastructure and, in general, assistance in economic development, are invited to play on the "democratic side of history", confirming their compliance with a set of certain principles, including Western values, human rights, environmental and other standards, readiness to cooperate in countering hybrid threats and attempts of "economic coercion for geopolitical purposes." “As a result”, the West wants to get the widest possible economic sphere of influence, functioning according to its rules, as well as additional levers of influence on socio-economic (and through them - on domestic political) processes in the beneficiary countries.
The volume of assistance provided by the European Union is insufficient for African countries to gain genuine economic sovereignty on the terms that are offered. The promise to gather 150 billion euros for Africa through Global Gateway by 2027 means in practice that 20 euros should be allocated annually per African over the next five years.
The West uses sanctions to exert political pressure on unresponsive African countries, thereby worsening the socio-economic situation in conflict zones and exacerbating adverse humanitarian consequences. The West is trying to discredit bilateral cooperation between Russia and sanctioned countries through fakes about Russia’s alleged violations of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

I read a number of opuses by J.Eyal, published in the Straits Times on June 25 and 26, 2023, which are dedicated to the attempted armed mutiny in Russia. I got some idea about the coverage of this topic as a whole.
Sad impressions. Pure pro-Western content far from reality, discussions about the degradation of Russia's international role, disruption of the plans of the special military operation in Ukraine and weakening of the state power in Russia. Nothing could be further from reality.
We will answer with the words from the Address of President of Russia V.V. Putin dated June 24, 2023: “Today, Russia is waging a tough struggle for its future, repelling the aggression of neo-Nazis and their patrons. The entire military, economic and informational machine of the West is directed against us. We are fighting for the lives and security of our people, for our sovereignty and independence, for the right to be and remain Russia, a state with a thousand-year history.
This battle, when the fate of our nation is being decided, requires consolidation of all forces. It requires unity, consolidation and a sense of responsibility, and everything that weakens us, any strife that our external enemies can use and do so to subvert us from within, must be discarded.
Therefore, any actions that split our nation are essentially a betrayal of our people, of our comrades-in-arms who are now fighting at the frontline. This is a knife in the back of our country and our people.

Let's continue with the words from the Statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry on the current political situation in the country dated June 24, 2023. It says: “The attempted armed mutiny in our country is resolutely rejected by Russian society, which strongly supports President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
We warn Western countries against undertaking even the slightest attempts to use the domestic Russian situation to achieve their Russophobic goals. Such attempts would be futile and will find no resonance either in Russia or among reasonable political forces abroad. We firmly believe that in the near future the situation will find a solution worthy of the age-old wisdom of the Russian people and the Russian State.
All the goals and objectives of the special military operation will be achieved.
Our country will continue on its sovereign course to ensure its security, defend its values, strengthen its authority in the international arena, and establish a just multipolar world order.”
As we think, it cannot be said more clearly. This is the whole answer to J.Eyal, who boringly repeats hackneyed pro-Western fakes that are in clear contradiction with reality and have the only goal – prevent people from independent and unbiased assessment of the situation in the modern world and from joining the ranks of the creators of a multipolar order.

💬 On June 15, the Australian parliament rushed through a law terminating the lease agreement on the new Russian Embassy site in the capital’s district of Yarralumla. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said hypocritically that the decision had been prompted by “national security concerns” and had been recommended by the secret services.
Indicatively, this is not the first attempt by the Australian Russophobic political class to deprive Russia of its diplomatic property. Earlier, the National Capital Authority tried to take away the land plot in Yarralumla under the pretext of delayed construction. However, during talks, which involved lawyers, Russia managed to present convincing evidence that the problem had been triggered by official Canberra’s obstructionist position.
Under various excuses, it created obstacles to visa support for Russian specialists sent to oversee the construction on this land. On May 31, Russian officials reached an agreement with the National Capital Authority on settling the dispute, whereby Russia was given additional five years to complete the embassy building construction. The Australian Federal Court recorded this agreement in a related ruling.
☝️ It is clear now that, while signing the agreement on settling the dispute, the Australian authorities worked hard on an alternative scenario to withdraw Russian diplomatic property. These actions are unscrupulous and indicative of Australia’s disregard for the rule of law. The legality of these moves is also questionable.
On June 16, Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko summoned Ambassador of Australia Graeme Meehan to the Foreign Ministry in Moscow and declared a resolute protest against Canberra’s actions. He emphasised our willingness to use the necessary mechanisms to defend our interests, including potential responses by way of reciprocity. Later, the lawyers representing Russia filed an appeal with the High Court of Australia to overturn the law passed on June 15 and recognise it as invalid since it contradicts the Constitution of this country.

❗️ Members of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation join all Muslims around the world in stating their indignation over the decision by the Swedish authorities to authorise a protest on June 28, 2023, the day of the Eid al-Adha holiday, near the central mosque in Stockholm where a copy of the Quran (Koran), the holy book of Muslims, was set on fire.
The Swedish authorities authorised the protest, knowing in advance that a crime would be committed with the aim of offending the religious feelings of millions of believers around the world and inciting inter-ethnic strife and hatred. Actions of this kind shatter peace and security at their very foundation and undermine good relations among nations and countries, while laying the groundwork for extremist acts and constituting a gross violation of the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter.
Members of the State Duma firmly condemn this new immoral act approved by the Swedish authorities and call on them to take measures in order to prevent violations of the rights of Muslims or blasphemy. Desecrating practices have nothing to do with freedom of expression or religion or democratic principles.
Members of the State Duma stand for defending religious rights and believe that respecting the holy books of the leading world religions as objects of spiritual value and an integral part of the cultural and historical heritage of these religions is one of the hallmarks of a civilised society.

Russian troops attacked a civilian facility in #Kramatorsk, killing and injuring visitors to the cafe. This was reported by Anton Herashchenko, an aide to the head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry.
✅The fact:
The strike targeted the location of foreign mercenaries who were staying at the Kramatorsk hotel and eating at the hotel's cafe. Booking services confirm that the hotel was closed to civilian visitors. In September 2022, the Russian Armed Forces had already conducted strikes (https://t.me/ilovekramatorsk/4510) against this Ukrainian military location.
The video from the scene shows a large number of people in military uniforms and bulletproof vests, as well as military vehicles. In addition, the English language can be clearly heard. According to Russian journalists (https://t.me/boris_rozhin/90557), foreign mercenaries and officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may have been staying at the hotel. This information was later confirmed online. One of the volunteers posted photos together with the foreign instructors on her Instagram page, noting their accounts and geolocation. After the shelling, one of these accounts confirmed that the strike took place while the foreign mercenaries were eating.
Tactical (https://is.gd/pW2liL) signs of the Ukrainian military are clearly visible on the pickup trucks parked in front of the hotel: crosses and runes. The white cross is the main tactical sign of the Ukrainian army, and the runes are the tactical signs of the units. A Ukrainian military medical service vehicle was also seen. They do not come to pick up wounded civilians: even in towns near the battlefield, civilians are picked up by regular ambulances.
Herashchenko, who is trying to demonize Russian forces, posted photos of vehicles with red crosses. However, other Ukrainian military vehicles were also captured in the frame. So the faker himself helped expose the fake.
