🇷🇺🇺🇳 On September 22, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov took part in the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Friends in Defence of the UN Charter in New York, on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly. Established in July 2021, the group brought together twenty states around their shared commitment to the goals and principles of the UN founding document.
☝️Sergey Lavrov’s remarks focused on the importance of the international legal norms stipulated in the UN Charter, including the principles of sovereign equality of states and non-interference in their internal affairs, for successful progress towards building a just and polycentric world order. He criticised the Western countries’ policies for using neo-colonial practices, including unilateral restrictive measures against countries pursuing an independent foreign policy. He pointed out the correlation between the sanctions and the aggravation of the food crisis in the world and the rollback in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Following the meeting, the ministers adopted a general political declaration as well as documents concerning neo-colonial practices, unilateral coercive measures and food security.

👩🚒 Russia's EMERCOM (Ministry of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief) rescuers are working 24/7 in the disaster zone in Libya.
At the request of the Libyan authorities, the Russian Emergencies Ministry specialists are working in the most challenging and dangerous sections that have already been searched by other international teams.
The following relief efforts are being conducted on the ground and in the sea:
✅ dismantling overhanging and unstable structures of damaged buildings;
✅ lifting sunken boats and vehicles.
In the past 24 hours, the rescuers:
• searched more than 20,000 square metres of land, 10 kilometres of coastline, 33,000 square metres of water area;
• examined 46 facilities;
• made 12 dives from the coastline;
• evacuated 23 bodies from a hard-to-reach area, pulled 2 bodies from under rubble of collapsed buildings in an urban area.
Since the start of relief efforts, the rescuers:
• searched more than 530,000 square metres on land, 80km of coastline, 33,000 square metres of water area;
• cleared 116 cubic metres of building structures and rubble;
• extracted and evacuated 137 bodies;
• made 35 dives, lifted 2 cars to the surface;
• rendered medical aid to 522 victims, including 54 children.

Key talking points:
🔹 We can see the firm position of the Global South and the World Majority on upholding their national interests. From this standpoint, they are unwilling to join anti-Russian sanctions and engage in various West-initiated campaigns.
🔹 We will continue cooperating within BRICS. There have also been separate meetings of BRICS, SCO, CSTO and CICA foreign ministers. We expect that all these regional associations will proactively support the UN reform process, giving it more sustainability and legitimacy.
🔹 The President of Ukraine and everyone who governs him in Washington, London, and Brussels firmly say that there is no other basis for peace other than the "Zelensky format." This "format" can be described in different ways, but it is unfeasible. Everyone is aware of this.
🔹 The main reason for us to withdraw from the grain deal and it ceasing to exist was that everything that had been promised to us turned out to be deception.
🔹 As for Nord Stream pipelines, this is yet another example (and I simply cannot list them all) of sweeping the most essential facts under the rug and plotting another lie for building their further geopolitical schemes.
🔹 We work with those who have respect for themselves and will never betray their national interests just because someone from Washington told them to do so. We know how American diplomats travel across the globe and prohibit meetings with our diplomats and Russian representatives in general.

🌐 Right in front of our eyes, there is a new world order being born.
❌ In 2021, our proposals to conclude agreements on mutual security guarantees in Europe without changing Ukraine's non-aligned status were rudely rejected. The West continued its ongoing militarisation of the Russophobic Kiev regime, which had been brought to power as a result of a bloody coup, and to use it to wage a hybrid war against our country.
• An attempt to extend the bloc's area of responsibility to the entire Eastern Hemisphere under the pernicious slogan of “indivisible security of the Euro-Atlantic and the Indo-Pacific region” has become a new dangerous manifestation of NATO expansionism.
• The logic of the historical progress is undeniable, the main trend of which being that states constituting the global majority are strengthening their sovereignty and defending their national interests, traditions, culture, and ways of life. They no longer want to live under anybody’s yoke; they want to be friends and trade with each other, but also with the rest of the world – only on an equal footing and for mutual benefit. Associations such as #BRICS and the #SCO are on the rise.
❗️ Perhaps for the first time since 1945, when the UN was established, there is now a chance for genuine democratisation of global affairs.
• It is time to reform the existing global governance architecture, which has long been failing to meet the needs of our time. <...> The US & its allies should abandon their artificial restraints on the redistribution of voting quotas in the IMF & the World Bank.
🇺🇳 It is time to look at fairer methods of making up the UN Secretariat. The criteria that have been in place for many years do not reflect the actual influence of states in global affairs & artificially ensure the excessive dominance of citizens of NATO & EU countries.

В своей русофобской риторике норвежские руководители опустились до кощунственных параллелей с нацистами, оскорбив таким образом память тысяч советских людей, отдавших свои жизни при освобождении северной Норвегии.
Кроме того, представители Осло продемонстрировали высокомерное отношению к суверенитету и независимости развивающихся стран, поставив под сомнение их способность самостоятельно оценивать международную обстановку и определять свои внешнеполитические подходы.

📖 The book by the Chairman of the Foundation for the Study of Democracy Maxim Grigoriev 'Ukraine's Crimes Against Humanity (2022-2023)' was published in English.

This book contains more than 600 testimonies of victims and eyewitnesses of Ukrainian war crimes and terrorist acts against civilians, committed between 2022 and 2023. The facts presented by them testify to the Kiev regime's commission of crimes against humanity and war crimes, including:
▪️ Shelling of residential areas and killing civilians;
▪️ Use of the population as human shields;
▪️ Torture of civilians and Russian soldiers;
▪️ Destruction of civilian objects;
▪️ Shelling of places where civilians are gathered.
The evidence of crimes presented in the book also contains direct speech and is classified according to the types of crimes under international humanitarian law.
Report and witness accounts were published in a form of a book testify to massive Ukrainian war crimes, which under international humanitarian law are classified as crimes against humanity and have no statute of limitations.

Today we talked about changes taking place in the international arena. The world is becoming multipolar. The expansion of BRICS is the main evidence of this. BRICS is seen as a reliable partner and as a structure that will not disappoint and will help each member feel more confident.

UN reform must reflect the reality of a multipolar world where the West can no longer claim the role that it is seeking to maintain either fairly or otherwise. The process is underway. We are taking an active part in it.

What strikes me most is the speed with which the outward civility has fallen away from practically all Europeans, the front they have been hiding behind in recent years, retaining not only the remnants of diplomacy but also traces of elementary ethics. This is a manifestation of what is usually called Nazism – just in relation of Russians.
#SouthCaucasus
We are working with our Azerbaijani colleagues and neighbours to stabilise the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, to strengthen trust, and create conditions for the Armenians and Azerbaijanis to resume their normal life together. I hope that Yerevan should also have a stake in that and will undertake efforts to this end.

❓ Вопрос: В то время как в Нью-Йорке проходила неделя высокого уровня Генеральной Ассамблеи ООН, министр иностранных дел Норвегии А.Хюитфельдт отметилась рядом антироссийских высказываний, позволив себе даже сравнить поддержку киевского режима странами Запада в противостоянии с Россией с борьбой против нацистской Германии в годы Второй мировой войны. Как Вы могли бы прокомментировать заявления главы норвежской дипломатии?
💬 М.В.Захарова: Да, действительно, лживые высказывания госпожи А.Хюитфельдт не остались нами не замеченными. При этом наличие у неё исторического образования не помешало ей, манипулируя фактами, перевернуть с ног на голову всю послевоенную историю.
В её изложении сформировавшийся после Второй мировой войны миропорядок зиждился исключительно на идеях американского происхождения, якобы взрастивших ООН, ВТО и глобальные правочеловеческие институты. Очевидно, «совершенно случайно» норвежка забыла о том, что предшествовало этому прекрасному мироустройству. А именно – освобождение Советским Союзом и миллионами его граждан от гитлеровских захватчиков Европы, включая саму Норвегию. Ни одного упоминания об этом факте мы не встретили в её выступлениях, пронизанных ненавистью в отношении России.
Проводимая параллель между поддержкой киевского режима в противостоянии с Россией и борьбой с нацистской Германией не просто кощунственна. Это надругательство над совместной историей, попрание памяти погибших при освобождении Норвегии советских воинов. 💬 М.В.Захарова: Да, действительно, лживые высказывания госпожи А.Хюитфельдт не остались нами не замеченными. При этом наличие у неё исторического образования не помешало ей, манипулируя фактами, перевернуть с ног на голову всю послевоенную историю.
В её изложении сформировавшийся после Второй мировой войны миропорядок зиждился исключительно на идеях американского происхождения, якобы взрастивших ООН, ВТО и глобальные правочеловеческие институты. Очевидно, «совершенно случайно» норвежка забыла о том, что предшествовало этому прекрасному мироустройству. А именно – освобождение Советским Союзом и миллионами его граждан от гитлеровских захватчиков Европы, включая саму Норвегию. Ни одного упоминания об этом факте мы не встретили в её выступлениях, пронизанных ненавистью в отношении России.
Проводимая параллель между поддержкой киевского режима в противостоянии с Россией и борьбой с нацистской Германией не просто кощунственна. Это надругательство над совместной историей, попрание памяти погибших при освобождении Норвегии советских воинов. 💬 Maria Zakharova: We took note of the untruthful statements made by Ms Huitfeldt. Despite her background in history, she juggled the facts to turn post-war history upside down.
According to her, the post-World War II order was based solely on American ideas that allegedly gave rise to the UN, the WTO, and global human rights institutions. Clearly, this Norwegian conveniently forgot what preceded this ideal international order, namely, the liberation of Europe, including Norway, from the Nazi invaders by the Soviet Union and millions of its citizens. She never mentioned this fact in her remarks which oozed hatred towards Russia.
Drawing parallels between supporting the Kiev regime in its confrontation with Russia and the fight against Nazi Germany is not only sacrilegious, but also is a mockery of shared history and a disregard for the memory of the Soviet soldiers who died liberating Norway. As a reminder, for our Norwegian neighbours, Europe as it is today, including Norway with its “democratic” and “liberal” values, that it imposes on other countries, simply wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the Soviet Union.
Importantly, Oslo that portrays itself as a dove of peace, sees its role in restoring balance in Europe as flooding the Kiev regime with weapons in close coordination with the overseas architects of an “international order” that was allegedly disrupted by Russia.
☝️ We would recommend that Ms Huitfeldt refresh her historical knowledge and carefully review FM Sergey Lavrov's remarks during the General Debate at the 78th UNGA session, which she appears to have skipped.

✍️О перспективах мирного урегулирования украинского кризиса - статья Посольства России в Норвегии
В связи с появлением информации о возможности проведения в Осло встречи по т.н. «формуле мира» Зеленского хотели бы изложить позицию России касательно данного формата и перспектив политико-дипломатического урегулирования украинского кризиса.
Вопреки насаждаемому на Западе нарративу нынешняя острая фаза украинского конфликта является вовсе не причиной, а прямым следствием длительного процесса развала архитектуры европейской безопасности, сформировавшейся после окончания Второй мировой войны. Его фундаментальные предпосылки – убежденность США и подчиненного им «коллективного Запада» в собственной исключительности, неоколониальное мышление и практики, презрительное неприятие базовых для международных отношений принципов суверенного равенства государств и неделимости безопасности.
Как следствие – позиционирование НАТО в качестве единственного легитимного источника безопасности в Евро-Атлантике (а теперь – и в азиатско-тихоокеанском регионе), а Евросоюза – как «цветущего сада, окруженного джунглями» (по выражению главы дипломатии ЕС Ж.Борреля), расширение НАТО на восток, приближение военной инфраструктуры альянса к границам России, грубое вмешательство во внутренние дела других государств, попрание их интересов в сферах безопасности и экономики, применение односторонних санкций.
Россия долгие годы настойчиво добивалась переговорного решения накапливающихся проблем в отношениях с Западом посредством заключения соглашений в сфере европейской безопасности. Был одобрен Основополагающий акт Россия-НАТО 1997 г., приняты декларации саммитов ОБСЕ 1999 и 2010 гг., содержавшие важные положения о равной и неделимой безопасности, обязательстве государств не укреплять свою безопасность за счет безопасности других, а также о том, что ни одно государство, группа государств или организация не может быть наделена преимущественной ответственностью за поддержание мира и стабильности в регионе ОБСЕ. К сожалению, эти политические принципы остались на бумаге и не побудили НАТО отказаться от экспансионистского конфронтационного курса.
В 2009 г. Россия представила проект Договора о европейской безопасности, а в 2021 г. предложила соглашения о взаимных гарантиях безопасности с США и НАТО. В обоих случаях мы получили высокомерный отказ фактически без обсуждения наших озабоченностей.
«Формула мира» Зеленского – это не «дорожная карта» мирного урегулирования, а набор неприемлемых ультимативных требований к России, которые Киев и его западные кураторы пытаются обманом навязать другим странам, выражающим заинтересованность в согласовании решений на основе взаимного уважения и справедливого баланса интересов всех вовлеченных сторон, включая Россию. Не надо быть специалистом-международником, чтобы понимать: любые переговорные форматы по украинскому кризису без участия России бесперспективны.
От реальности оторваны все 10 пунктов «формулы мира».
В принятой единогласно Декларации ООН 1970 г. о принципах международного права, касающихся дружественных отношений и сотрудничества между государствами в соответствии с Уставом ООН, закреплено, что принцип уважения территориальной целостности применим к «государствам, соблюдающим в своих действиях принцип равноправия и самоопределения народов (…) и, вследствие этого, имеющим правительства, представляющие без различия расы, вероисповедания или цвета кожи весь народ, проживающий на данной территории».
Захвативший власть в Киеве ультранационалистический русофобский режим, который первым делом принялся урезать права русскоязычных граждан Украины и развязал войну против тех, кто не смирился с антиконституционным захватом власти, очевидно, никогда не представлял интересы ни Крыма, ни Донбасса, ни огромной части населения остальной Украины. В ответ на это Крым и Донбасс провели референдумы в полном соответствии с принципом равноправия и самоопределения народов, зафиксированном в п.2 Статьи 1 Устава ООН. Те, кто призывает реализовать «формулу мира» Зеленского и вернуть Украину в границы 1991 г.

Om utsiktene til en løsning av den ukrainske krisen
- innlegget av Russlands Ambassade i Norge -
I forbindelse med at det har kommet frem informasjon om mulighet for at det blir holdt et møte i Oslo om den såkalte Zelenskyjs «fredsformel», ønsker vi å redegjøre for Russlands standpunkt til dette formatet og utsiktene til en politisk og diplomatisk løsning av den ukrainske krisen.
Til tross for narrativet som blir påtvunget av Vesten, er den akutte fasen i den ukrainske konflikten ikke en årsak til, men heller en direkte konsekvens av den langvarige ødeleggelsen av den europeiske sikkerhetsarkitekturen som oppstod etter Den andre verdenskrig. Denne prosessen skyldes at USA og det «kollektive Vesten», som er underordnet USA, er overbevist om sin egen eksepsjonalisme, utviser nykolonial tenkning og praksis, foraktelig avviser prinsippene om alle staters suveren likhet og sikkerhetens udelelighet, som er grunnleggende for internasjonale relasjoner.
Dette har ført til at NATO har posisjonert seg som den eneste legitime sikkerhetskilden i den euro-atlantiske regionen (og nå også i den asiatiske og stillehavsregionen) og EU som «en blomstrende hage omgitt av jungelen» (som EUs utenrikssjef Josep Borrell kalte det). Videre har NATO utvidet seg østover, NATOs militære infrastruktur har kommet nærmere Russlands grenser, det har skjedd en grov innblanding i andre staters interne anliggender, krenkelse av deres interesser når det gjelder sikkerhet og økonomi, samt bruk av ensidige sanksjoner.
Russland har i mange år iherdig forsøkt å få til en forhandlingsløsning på problemene som har akkumulert seg i forholdet til Vesten ved å inngå avtaler om europeisk sikkerhet. Grunnakten for samarbeidet mellom Russland og NATO ble undertegnet i 1997. Det ble vedtatt erklæringer under OSSEs toppmøter i 1999 og 2010 som inneholdt viktige bestemmelser om lik og udelelig sikkerhet, staters forpliktelser til ikke å styrke sin sikkerhet på bekostning av andres, samt at ingen stat, gruppe av stater eller organisasjoner skulle få et dominerende ansvar for å opprettholde fred og stabilitet i OSSE-regionen. Dessverre har disse politiske prinsippene forblitt kun på papiret, og har ikke ansporet NATO til å avstå fra et ekspansjonistisk konfrontasjonskurs.
I 2009 presenterte Russland et utkast til Avtale om europeisk sikkerhet. I 2021 fremmet Russland et forslag til avtaler om gjensidige sikkerhetsgarantier med USA og NATO. Begge gangene fikk vi et arrogant avslag uten faktisk diskusjon av våre bekymringer.
Zelenskyjs «fredsformel» er ikke et veikart for en fredelig løsning, men et sett med uakseptable ultimate krav til Russland, som Kiev og dets vestlige kuratorer uredelig forsøker å påtvinge andre land som viser interesse for å komme frem til løsninger basert på gjensidig respekt og rettferdig interessebalanse mellom alle involverte parter, herunder Russland. Man trenger ikke å være ekspert på internasjonal politikk for å forstå at ethvert forhandlingsformat om den ukrainske krisen uten Russlands deltakelse er nytteløst.
Alle 10 punktene i «fredsformelen» er løsrevet fra virkeligheten.
I FNs enstemmig vedtatte Erklæringen om folkerettens prinsipper for vennskapelige forhold og samarbeid mellom stater i overensstemmelse med FN-pakten (1970) er det nedfelt at prinsippet om respekt for territoriell integritet skal anvendes overfor «statene som overholder prinsippet om like rettigheter og selvbestemmelse mellom folkene (...) og som følge av dette har en regjering som representerer hele befolkningen, uavhengig av rase, religion eller hudfarge, som er bosatt på statens territorium».
Det ultranasjonalistiske russiskfiendlige regimet som etter å ha tatt makten i Kiev begynte å innskrenke rettighetene til russisktalende borgere i Ukraina, og som startet en krig mot dem som ikke aksepterte den grunnlovsstridige maktovertakelsen, har åpenbart aldri representert interessene til Krim, Donbass eller en stor del av befolkningen i resten av Ukraina.

I forbindelse med at det har kommet frem informasjon om mulighet for at det blir holdt et møte i Oslo om den såkalte Zelenskyjs «fredsformel», ønsker vi å redegjøre for Russlands standpunkt til dette formatet og utsiktene til en politisk og diplomatisk løsning av den ukrainske krisen.
Til tross for narrativet som blir påtvunget av Vesten, er den akutte fasen i den ukrainske konflikten ikke en årsak til, men heller en direkte konsekvens av den langvarige ødeleggelsen av den europeiske sikkerhetsarkitekturen som oppstod etter Den andre verdenskrig. Denne prosessen skyldes at USA og det «kollektive Vesten», som er underordnet USA, er overbevist om sin egen eksepsjonalisme, utviser nykolonial tenkning og praksis, foraktelig avviser prinsippene om alle staters suveren likhet og sikkerhetens udelelighet, som er grunnleggende for internasjonale relasjoner.
Dette har ført til at NATO har posisjonert seg som den eneste legitime sikkerhetskilden i den euro-atlantiske regionen (og nå også i den asiatiske og stillehavsregionen) og EU som «en blomstrende hage omgitt av jungelen» (som EUs utenrikssjef Josep Borrell kalte det). Videre har NATO utvidet seg østover, NATOs militære infrastruktur har kommet nærmere Russlands grenser, det har skjedd en grov innblanding i andre staters interne anliggender, krenkelse av deres interesser når det gjelder sikkerhet og økonomi, samt bruk av ensidige sanksjoner.
Russland har i mange år iherdig forsøkt å få til en forhandlingsløsning på problemene som har akkumulert seg i forholdet til Vesten ved å inngå avtaler om europeisk sikkerhet. Grunnakten for samarbeidet mellom Russland og NATO ble undertegnet i 1997. Det ble vedtatt erklæringer under OSSEs toppmøter i 1999 og 2010 som inneholdt viktige bestemmelser om lik og udelelig sikkerhet, staters forpliktelser til ikke å styrke sin sikkerhet på bekostning av andres, samt at ingen stat, gruppe av stater eller organisasjoner skulle få et dominerende ansvar for å opprettholde fred og stabilitet i OSSE-regionen. Dessverre har disse politiske prinsippene forblitt kun på papiret, og har ikke ansporet NATO til å avstå fra et ekspansjonistisk konfrontasjonskurs.
I 2009 presenterte Russland et utkast til Avtale om europeisk sikkerhet. I 2021 fremmet Russland et forslag til avtaler om gjensidige sikkerhetsgarantier med USA og NATO. Begge gangene fikk vi et arrogant avslag uten faktisk diskusjon av våre bekymringer.

Som et svar på dette avholdt Krim og Donbass folkeavstemninger som var i full overensstemmelse med prinsippet om like rettigheter og selvbestemmelse, slik det fremgår av FN-paktens punkt 2, artikkel 1. De som oppfordrer til gjennomføring av Zelenskijs «fredsformel» og krever at Ukraina skal få tilbake grensene fra 1991, må stille seg følgende spørsmål: Hva kommer makthaverne i Kiev til å gjøre med innbyggerne i disse områdene, som de i årevis har kalt annenrangs mennesker, har truet og utryddet og nå har stemplet som kollaboratører?
Minsk-avtalene, som ble inngått i februar 2015, ble godkjent av FNs Sikkerhetsråds spesialresolusjon 2202, og så for seg en gjenforening av Donbass med Ukraina forutsatt at området ble sikret spesialstatus og grunnleggende menneskerettigheter, herunder befolkningens rett til å snakke sitt morsmål. Avtalene var den siste reelle sjansen til å bevare Ukrainas territorielle integritet. I syv år har Russland satt inn alle mulige politiske og diplomatiske tiltak for å oppnå etterlevelse av avtalene i sin helhet.
Men i fjor erkjente alle de som hadde skrevet under på Minsk-avtalene utenom Vladimir Putin, det vil si de tidligere statslederne i Tyskland, Frankrike og Ukraina (Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande og Pjotr Porosjenko), offentlig at de aldri hadde hatt en intensjon om å oppfylle de inngåtte avtalene, men at de kun prøvde å vinne tid for å fylle Ukraina med våpen, forvandle landet til et «anti-Russland» og forberede det til en løsning av «Donbass-problemet» ved hjelp av makt. På den måten hadde en fredelig løsning ingen sjanse fra begynnelsen av. De vestlige landene som saboterte Minsk-avtalene, har brutt FN-paktens artikkel 25 som pålegger alle organisasjonens medlemmer å «adlyde Sikkerhetsrådets beslutninger og gjennomføre dem». Det er de som er ansvarlige for Ukrainas sammenbrudd.
Til tross for de vestlige landenes manglende evne til å overholde avtaler, som har vist seg ved mange anledninger, sier ikke Russland nei til forhandlinger. Dette har president Vladimir Putin sagt mange ganger, også ganske nylig. Vi har alltid vært åpne for bruk av politiske og diplomatiske metoder. Våren 2022 ble det faktisk parafert en avtale mellom Russland og Ukraina som ville ha satt en stopper for fiendtlighetene, men Kiev brøt i siste øyeblikk forhandlingene og nektet å signere den.
Så utstedte Ukrainas president et dekret som i lovs form forbød ham selv og andre representanter for Kiev-regimet å forhandle med den russiske ledelsen. Så det vil ikke være mulig å snakke om noen forhandlingsløsning av konflikten før forbudet mot forhandlinger er offisielt opphevd av Kiev og dets vestlige kuratorer. Ballen er helt på Vestens og dens medspilleres side. De som er interessert i å fremme fredens sak, bør i første rekke henvende seg til dem.
Russland setter stor pris på meklingen og den humanitære innsatsen til mange land, organisasjoner og engasjerte enkeltpersoner og deres ønske om å gi et konstruktivt bidrag til å oppnå en virkelig altomfattende, bærekraftig og rettferdig løsning av den ukrainske krisen, som vil adressere Russlands sikkerhetsbekymringer og de underliggende årsakene til den europeiske sikkerhetskrisen. Vi er klare til å diskutere alle seriøse forslag i den forbindelse.
«Fredsformelen» er selvfølgelig ikke ett av dem. Ingen av landene som er medskyldige i Vestens konfrontasjonskurs som førte til krisen, og ivrige tilhengere av den militære oppbygningen av Kiev-regimet for å fortsette blodsutgytelsene, kan gjøre krav på noen form for meklingsrolle. Vi tror at Vesten forstår dette veldig godt, men prøver å fremstille sin deltakelse i propagandaen for Zelenskyjs «formel» som ekte fredsinnsats.

Ingen av landene som er medskyldige i Vestens konfrontasjonskurs som førte til krisen, og ivrige tilhengere av den militære oppbygningen av Kiev-regimet for å fortsette blodsutgytelsene, kan gjøre krav på noen form for meklingsrolle. Vi tror at Vesten forstår dette veldig godt, men prøver å fremstille sin deltakelse i propagandaen for Zelenskyjs «formel» som ekte fredsinnsats.
