Комментарий в связи с решением совета городского района Фрогнер (г.Осло) о присвоении перекрёстку возле Посольства России в Норвегии названия «Площадь Украины»
Если это будет сделано в нынешний напряжённый период, то это будет воспринято как антироссийская акция, будь то со стороны правительства или районных властей. Норвежцы должны отдавать себе в этом отчёт.
Тем более, что никакой площади тут нет: улица и переулок. Сама идея – очень американская. В старой Европе – другая традиция.
Кроме работников российского посольства в Норвегии проживают 25 тыс. россиян, спросили ли их?
Comment on the decision of the council of the city district of Frogner (Oslo) to name the intersection near the Russian embassy in Norway as “Ukraine Square”
In case this is done during the current tense period, it will be regarded as an anti-Russian action, whether by the government or the district authorities. Norwegians should consider this.
Especially since there is no square here - just a street and an alley. The idea itself is very American. The tradition in old Europe is different.
Beside the employees of the Russian embassy there are 25 thousand Russians living in Norway, were they asked?

Предстоящие крупномасштабные учения НАТО и стран-партнёров «Cold Response 2022» отражают общее стремление альянса к усилению своего присутствия на Севере Европы. Исходим из того, что любое наращивание натовского военного потенциала вблизи российских границ не способствует укреплению безопасности в регионе.
Официальная информация о приглашении российских наблюдателей на вышеупомянутые учения в Посольство не поступала.
The comment from the embassy to AFP on Cold Response 2022
The forthcoming large-scale exercise by NATO and partner countries, Cold Response 2022, reflects the alliance's general desire to strengthen its presence in northern Europe. We assume that any build-up of NATO military capabilities near Russia's borders does not help to strengthen security in the region.
The embassy has not received any official information on the invitation of Russian observers to the exercise.

💬 14 марта около 11.30 украинская сторона выпустила по жилому кварталу Донецка тактическую ракету «Точка-У» с кассетным зарядом, запрещенным международным правом.
Ракета была сбита средствами ПВО, что позволило избежать катастрофического масштаба последствий. Однако даже само падение ее частей на мирный город привело к тяжелейшим жертвам – гибели 20 и серьезным ранениям 28 людей, включая детей, женщин и стариков.

💬 At 11:30 am on March 14, Ukrainian forces hit a residential neighbourhood in Donetsk with a Tochka-U tactical missile with a cluster munition warhead prohibited under international law.
Although intercepted by air defence, preventing catastrophic losses, the downed missile still landed on the peaceful city and killed 20 and seriously wounded 28 people, including children, women and seniors.
On behalf of the people and leadership of our country, the Foreign Ministry conveys its deep condolences to the families and friends of the dead, as well as to the government of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded. We are confident that this crime against humanity will not go unpunished.

(English below) ☝️🇷🇺 #Россия выполнит свои обязательства по обслуживанию и погашению государственных ценных бумаг вовремя и в полном объеме.
Для исполнения государственных долговых обязательств по еврооблигациям #Минфин будет давать платежные поручения банкам-агентам для осуществления выплат в валюте и сроки, предусмотренные соответствующей эмиссионной документацией. Возможность перечисления средств будет зависеть от санкционных ограничений в отношении правительства и Банка России.
Если иностранный банк-корреспондент не исполнит платежное поручение, оно будет отозвано. Исполнение обязательств в таком случае осуществляется в следующем порядке:
✅ Оплата по еврооблигациям будет проводиться в рублях по курсу #ЦБ на день платежа.
✅ В зависимости от того, где хранится сертификат выпуска еврооблигаций, Национальный кредитный депозитарий будет самостоятельно рассчитываться с кредиторами, либо переводить средства на обычные счета лиц и счета иностранных кредитных организаций.
«У нас есть необходимый объем средств для обслуживания наших обязательств», — подчеркнул министр финансов Антон #Силуанов.

In order to repay its Eurobonds, the #FinanceMinistry will issue payment orders to agent banks instructing them to execute payments in foreign currency in keeping with the timeline set forth in the corresponding emission documents. Whether the funds can be transferred will depend on the restrictions resulting from sanctions imposed on the Government and the Bank of Russia.
If a foreign correspondent bank is unable to execute the payment order, it will be recalled. In that event, the following procedure will be used to fulfil the payment obligations:
✅ The Eurobonds will be repaid in roubles as per the exchange rate set by the #CentralBank as of the payment date.
✅ Depending on where the Eurobond certificate is kept, the National Settlement Depository will either proceed to settlements with the creditors on its own, or transfer funds to the accounts of individuals and foreign lending institutions.
“We have the required funds for servicing our debt,” Finance Minister Anton #Siluanov said.
❔ The Finance Ministry will keep the agent banks updated on its efforts to service and repay its Eurobonds as per the terms of issuance.

По имеющимся достоверным данным, боевики нацбатальона «Азов» совершили новую провокацию, взорвав заминированное ими здание театра.
Призываем норвежские власти и СМИ к объективному освещению событий на Украине.

We urge the Norwegian authorities and media to cover the developments in Ukraine impartially.

🔹On March 3, Denmark, together with other Arctic states, announced that it would not send its representatives to Russia for official events of the Arctic Council and suspend participation in its activities. Faith in the ability of the Arctic states to prevent the outside tension and conflict potential to the region being transferred to the region, has been undermined. A powerful blow has been dealt to the principles and spirit of the Ilulissat Declaration of 2008, which provides for the resolution of disputes in the Arctic through interaction.
🔹The politicization of international cooperation will have negative consequences. The ability of the Arctic states to provide an effective response to the challenges common to the region has been significantly weakened. International cooperation in the Arctic without Russia's participation is meaningless.
🔹The suspension by Denmark and other Arctic states of the activities within the Arctic Council directly contradicts the interests of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic, whose organizations take part in the work of the Council as its permanent members. Being the representative of Russia in the Arctic Council for 4 years, I realized that the indigenous peoples of the Arctic see each other as brothers and sisters. The decision to split the Arctic was made without taking this factor into account and is doomed to failure.
🔹Russia, for its part, will do everything possible to prevent destabilization of the situation in the Arctic and preserve the conditions for sustainable development of the region.

Благодарим мэра коммуны Вердал П.С.Фикcе и руководителя Службы по вопросам культуры коммуны И.Осен за незамедлительную реакцию на это возмутительное действие.

Vi takker ordføreren i Verdal Pål Sverre Fikse og virksomhetsleder i kommunens kulturtjeneste Ingvild Aasen for umiddelbar reaksjon på denne forargelige handlingen.
