Press release on threats to global food security and Ukrainian grain supplies to international markets
❗️We have noted the increasingly frequent statements by Western representatives, echoed by UN officials, on the threat of a major food crisis due to a shortage of grain and fertilisers on international markets, allegedly provoked by Russia's actions in Ukraine.
We feel compelled to once again reiterate what the real root causes of these problems are.
👉 As far as the blockage of Ukrainian grain shipments by sea is concerned, we emphasise that Russia has never hindered the export of grain from Ukrainian Black Sea ports. In reality, safe navigation in Ukrainian territorial waters and the use of ports are currently impossible due to the high level of danger posed by mines and threat of shelling created by Kiev.
👉 It would be worth recalling that since the beginning of 2020, food and energy prices have increased significantly driven by the coronavirus pandemic, adverse climate factors and, importantly, major miscalculations in Western countries’ financial and economic policies.
🇷🇺 In turn, we reaffirm our readiness to continue to fulfil our obligations to export grain, fertilisers, energy resources and other critical products.

On June 22, Russian Sports Minister Oleg Matytsin, who is visiting New Delhi to participate in a meeting of the Bureau of the Eighth Session of the Conference of Parties to the International Convention against Doping in Sport, met with Indian Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur. They discussed cooperation of the two countries in the area of sports. Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov was also present.
On June 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in 14th BRICS Summit
China will chair the summit via videoconference.
The leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will discuss the status of diverse political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the five countries and their prospects.
There are also plans to review current international and regional issues. The summit’s final Declaration will formalise key agreements.
On June 24, Vladimir Putin will also speak at a ‘BRICS Plus’ session involving the leaders of several invited states.

⚠️ We continue to carefully record the facts of criminal acts by the Kiev regime against the civilian population of Ukraine and the people's republics of Donbas, as well as the use of civilian infrastructure by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and militants of Ukrainian nationalist groups for military purposes:
🔹 in Kramatorsk, Donetsk People's Republic, in a residential house (Parkovaya st., 95), servicemen of the AFU have deployed a strongpoint with munitions and armament depots, while its residents are forcibly retained in their flats. In the schools №4 (M.Priymachenko st.) and №25 (B.Khmelnitskogo st.), nationalists have deployed firing positions and sniper points, while the population of the nearby residential houses had been intentionally left without evacuation;
🔹 in Dachnoye, Odessa region, in the House of Culture and the gymnasium №2 (Mira st.), nationalists have deployed a strongpoint, as well as armoured vehicles and multiple rocket launchers at its territory;

For this purpose, nationalists exploded the building of the comprehensive school №6 (Shevchenko blvd.) and spread fabricated photo- and videographic data in Ukrainian and western mass media.

On June 21, an attack launched by high-precision armament of Russian Aerospace Forces resulted in the elimination of up to 500 servicemen of the 59th Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as well as their armament and military equipment deployed in the workshops of Okean shipyard located in Nikolayev.

❗️🇬🇷Activists sent a resolution to the Greek Foreign Ministry against the supply of weapons to Kiev regime
Yesterday, on June 22, members of the "Committee against Greece's participation in the NATO war in Ukraine" opposed the policy of their state towards Russia, the DPR, the LPR and Ukraine.
📄The Committee members sent a resolution to the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs containing the following requirements:
🔹Immediately stop direct and indirect aggressive actions against Russia.
🔹 Do not take part in the sanctions policy against Russia and Russians.
🔹 Contribute to the normalization of relations between Greece and Russia.
🔹Immediately remove the bans and restrictions against the Russian media.
❌ In addition, the Committee members demanded that the Greek authorities immediately stop facilitating shelling by the Kiev regime, because of which civilians of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics suffer.
📣 During the protest in front of the Parliament building and the Museum of Modern History of Greece activists also demanded the abolition of all measures of oppression against Russian citizens in the country.
"Russophobia and racism cause serious damage to the world and culture," the members of the Committee state.

❗️ The enemy continues suffering considerable losses.
▪️ The defeated 34th Battalion of the 57th Mechanised Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has lost over 150 persons killed and about 450 persons wounded near Mirnaya Dolina (Lugansk People's Republic).
▫️ There are no more than 15-20 soldiers left in each company of this battalion. Junior commanders have abandoned their personnel and deserted from the operations area.
▪️ Units of the 30th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU near Klinovoye (Donetsk People's Republic) have been left with less than 50% of personnel as a result of attacks launched by the Russian Armed Forces. More than 170 other critically wounded soldiers and officers have been evacuated by their command from the operations area.
▫️ Russian Federation Armed Forces continue launching attacks at military facilities located in Ukraine.
💥 On June 22, high-precision armament of Russian Aerospace Forces eliminated 49 fuel storage facilities designed for AFU military equipment, as well as up to 50 combat vehicles with multiple rocket launchers in hangars, including foreign-manufactured ones.
💥 High-precision armament of Russian Aerospace Forces has also neutralised 3 armoured vehicle reparation bases near Nikolayev, 4 command posts, manpower and military equipment at 18 areas.
✈️ Operational-tactical and army aviation has eliminated manpower and military equipment at 96 areas and 1 radar post near Konstantinovka (Kharkov region).

💥 Within the counter-battery warfare towards Donetsk, high-precision armament of Russian Aerospace Forces, missile troops and artillery have neutralised: 8 Ukrainian plattoons of Uragan MRLS near Avdeyevka, Vesyoloye, Dzerzhinsk, Novoluganskoye and Kurdyumovka, as well as 11 AFU cannon artillery plattoons at their firing positions near Novopokrovskoye, Galitsinovka, Artyomovsk, Chasov-Yar, Krutaya Balka, Avdeyevka, Novovesyolovka and near Kleban-Byk water storage basin that had been shelling the city of Donetsk and other settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic.
✈️💥 Attacks launched by aviation, missile troops and artillery have resulted in the elimination of over 650 nationalists, 17 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 3 combat vehicles with Smerch MRLS, as well as 17 special vehicles.

💥 1 Tochka-U ballistic missile has been intercepted near Peski Ratkovskiye (Kharkov region) and 22 MRLS projectiles near Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Kamyshevakha (Donetsk People's Republic), Chervonoye, Izyum, Sukhaya Kamenka (Kharkov region) and above Snake Island.
📊 In total, 211 airplanes and 132 helicopters, 1,329 unmanned aerial vehicles, 349 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,750 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 647 combat vehicles equipped with multiple rocket-launching systems, 2,088 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 3,818 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

💥 1 Tochka-U ballistic missile has been intercepted near Peski Ratkovskiye (Kharkov region) and 22 MRLS projectiles near Donetsk, Makeyevka, Gorlovka, Kamyshevakha (Donetsk People's Republic), Chervonoye, Izyum, Sukhaya Kamenka (Kharkov region) and above Snake Island.
📊 In total, 211 airplanes and 132 helicopters, 1,329 unmanned aerial vehicles, 349 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,750 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 647 combat vehicles equipped with multiple rocket-launching systems, 2,088 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 3,818 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

💬 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has noted recent reports on US citizens being recruited and transferred to Ukraine, the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic to participate in hostilities, with the complicity of the White House and American intelligence services.
We are referring to the activity of the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, which runs counter to the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and involves overt recruitment of fighters to the so-called Foreign Legion of Territorial Defence Forces of Ukraine.
❗️ We regard the US authorities’ complicity in such activities as further proof of Washington not being interested in resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
