🇷🇺 🚴‍♂️ 🇮🇳 On April 14, 2024, the Russia-India friendship cycling rally to mark the 77th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations and the 40th anniversary of first Indian cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma's spaceflight will be held in New Delhi.

➡️ For the 2nd time, the Russian Embassy in India jointly with the Confederation of Indian Cyclists hosts this annual festive event which brings together representatives of the diplomatic corps, media and the public.

💬 All interested participants are invited to reach the Embassy’s Main Gate by 6:00 AM to listen to the welcoming remarks by officials.

🌐 On April 9, as part of the ongoing III Eurasian Meeting of Russian Women Compatriots an award ceremony of compatriots acknowledging their public service and patriotic activities took place in the Embassy of Russia in India.

📁 The Russian State Duma’s letters of appreciation were presented by Olga Timofeyeva, Chairwoman of the State Duma Committee on Development of Civil Society, Issues of Public Associations and Religious Organization, to Elena Barman, President of the Indian Association of Russian Compatriots, Tatyana Shipilova, Director of Russian language courses in the Russian House in New Delhi, Irina Malysheva, Deputy Chairwoman of the Coordination Council of Russian Compatriots of India, Ekaterina Semenushkova, founder of the Atlas Social and Cultural Relations Development Centre.
