Forwarded from Russian House New Delhi
A recognized Indian dancer, the editor of a leading Delhi newspaper, famous art critics and doctors came to the Russian House for an exhibition of paintings by Lyudmila Chakrabarti, a native Siberian who chose India as her home.
The vernissage was attended by the winner of national and international dance competitions Shovana Narayan, Times Network columnist Srinjoy Chowdhury, the wife of the Russian Ambassador to India Diana Alipova, and other honored guests.
Lyudmila Chakrabarti combines several hobbies that have become professions: English teacher, artist, book illustrator, author of fairy tales and short stories.
“My first love is Russian classical art, but I would not have become the artist I am today without the influence of India and its rich culture. I have developed several styles, and this gives me enough freedom to create my own world, where fantasy and harmony go hand in hand, and humor is a frequent guest.”

The #WYF2024 regional program has started! ⚡️
🚂 From the World Youth City, two thousand participants traveled to 30 Russian cities to learn more about Russia, its cultural heritage, historical legacy, nature, economic potential and national diversity of peoples.
The program included 5 thematic routes: «Living and working in Russia», «Road of memory», «Land without borders», «We are back with Russia» and the International RUSSIA EXPO.
🇷🇺 By the way, regardless of the chosen route, foreign guests will spend 3 days in Moscow and visit the International RUSSIA EXPO to get acquainted with the achievements of all regions of our country.
And, of course, they will not miss a rich educational program. The Russian «Znanie» Society has prepared about 200 events in 89 regions of Russia.

Volunteers were the heart and soul of #WYF2024! 🟢
🤝 They were always there to help the organizers and guests,to create a good mood and an amazing atmosphere of the main youth event of the year!
And on the day of the closing ceremony of the Festival on the Soul of Russia Square in the World Youth City there was another very important event - a big evening show «Thank You to Volunteers».
Let's go there for a moment!
And once again say to our volunteers:
THANK YOU🩷
