🇷🇺 🌐 🇮🇳 On February 21-23, 2024, Russian parliamentarians and experts are taking part in the international geopolitical conference “Raisina Dialogue” in New Delhi.

Russia is represented at the forum by First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dr Vyacheslav Nikonov, Vice Rector of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, head of the BRICS Expert Council and Russia’s W20 Sherpa Dr Victoria Panova, Director of the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr Feodor Voitolovsky, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council Dr Ivan Timofeev and others.

💬 On February 21, a panel discussion on the Russian topic took place with the participation of Manish Tewari, MP, Lok Sabha, Parliament of India, while on February 22, Dr Vyacheslav Nikonov and Dr Victoria Panova during a special session dedicated to #BRICS, the G20 and the Global South, spoke about the priorities of Russia’s chairmanship of BRICS in 2024 and its approaches to strengthening the role of developing countries in world affairs.

It is built on original 19th-century graphic materials from the funds of the State Lermontov Museum-Reserve “Tarkhany”.

🟡 The Russian House in New Delhi invites you to the opening of the exhibition on February, 28 at 06:30 p.m., at 24 Ferozshah Road.

There will also be an interactive 19th century lesson “How they studied in the old days” with goose feathers and ink, as well as a master class on creating a folk patchwork amulet doll.

In his letters, Lermontov reports that he “was in continuous wandering”, “became a terrible vagabond”: from Tarkhany to Moscow, from Moscow to St. Petersburg and back, through cities and villages — again to his native Tarkhany. Then — Tver, Tambov, Veliky Novgorod, several trips to the Caucasus.

⭐️ For the duration of the Festival, the famous Medalnaya Square will be called the Soul of Russia Square. Here you will see the Main Stage, and nearby there will be pavilions of Russian Cities and Their Sister Cities Pavilions. There will be five such pavilions at the Festival: Belgorod Region Pavilion, Moscow Pavilion, Nizhny Novgorod Pavilion, Yamal Pavilion and Kazan Pavilion.

👍 Part of the World Youth City will be the Pushkin-225 Cultural Center, where the Ilya Averbukh's Ice Show will take place. The World Friendship Games Arena will offer themed activities, shows, and master classes, and in the Sber Technology Park, it will be possible to converse with the geniuses of the past with the help of artificial intelligence.

✅ The first floor of the Bolshoi Stadium, which will host the opening and closing ceremonies of the Festival, will host the World Market Art.Molodost.

🇷🇺 🤝 🇮🇳 On February 22-24, 2024, the delegation of the Moscow City Tourism Committee, headed by the First Deputy Head of the Office of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow, Chairman of the Moscow City Tourism Committee Evgeny Kozlov, visited the annual South Asia's Travel & Tourism Exchange — SATTE in Delhi.

The Moscow stand presented the tourism potential of the Russian capital and innovative solutions, such as interregional routes of the “Moscow+” concept.

💬 Delegates took part in business sessions of the forum, introduced exhibition visitors to the Moscow Estates festival.

The Gzhel folk group performed at the opening ceremony.
