⚡️ Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War the USA and its NATO allies began actively working with former Soviet republics in order to shape them for their own neocolonial purposes.

Ukraine has always received special attention from the Western states in the post-Soviet space as it was the most developed republic, one with strong industrial, agricultural and scientific potential and extremely close ties with Russia. The goal was to seize its market, reshape the economy, making it ever-dependent on the West.

To this end, the USA and the EU, by hand of obedient Ukrainian elites, were methodically destroying the country's basis, severing the economic, trade and cultural ties with Russia.

❗️ In the early 2000s, the so-called 'collective West' inspired the Orange Revolution of 2004 that aimed at distancing Ukraine from Russia and integrating it into the Euro-Atlantic institutions came to power in Kiev.

The blatant interference of the West in the internal affairs triggered a deep political crisis in Ukraine that became irreversible and led to the unconstitutional coup d'etat in 2014.

This event led to a sharp polarization of the Ukrainian society, which predetermined an armed civil conflict. The new 'authorities' launched the so called "anti-terrorist operation" to suppress protests in Donbass by force.

☝️ As a result, Ukrainian armed forces have been shelling Donbass for all these years. This forced Russia to intervene in the situation by launching a special military operation.

The actions of the West within the framework of the large-scale "hybrid war" confirm the global nature of the confrontation in Ukraine. Military and financial assistance is being provided to the Kiev regime, and the range of 'deliveries' at the taxpayers' expense is constantly increasing.

👉 Ukraine is a mere instrument in the hands of the United States and its NATO allies, whose long-term goal is to to break the security architecture in the post-Soviet space and Eurasia as a whole.

On the 10th anniversary of the coup d'état in Kiev, we recall the historical origins of the terrorist methods of the Kiev regime, its masterminds and the roots of Ukrainian neo-Nazism, as well as the destructive role of the West.

Synopsis: The murder of Daria Dugina, the bombing of the Crimean Bridge, torture and torment in secret prisons - the pattern and methods of modern Ukrainian neo-Nazis are unmistakable. The Ukrainian Nazis were actively supported by the US: it conducted covert operations on the territory of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, funded certain groups and, after the collapse of the USSR, systematically revived the ideology of Nazism in Ukraine.

The West intended to plunge Ukraine into bloody terror in order to separate the republic from the Soviet Union and weaken the USSR's influence on the world stage. It was a covert operation - "Aerodynamic".

On this holiday, we pay our deepest respects to our heroic fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers who crushed Nazism, we take out the military orders and medals, photographs and letters from frontline soldiers, say a heartfelt thank you and warmly embrace our dear veterans. We will always remember that it was the Soviet people who defended the freedom of Russia, all of Europe and the entire world.

Russian soldiers and officers are honourably carrying on these glorious military traditions. Today it is the participants of the special military operation who are on the frontlines. You fight for truth and justice; you show courage and valour in defence of Russia. You are true national heroes. We are proud of you, we admire your courage, we honour your exploits. We know it is difficult for you, and we will do everything possible to help you complete the mission you have been assigned. Thank you for valiantly performing your military duty, and for your faithful and selfless service to the Fatherland.

There are many alarming challenges and risks in the modern world, but the powerful capabilities and combat readiness of our army and navy guarantee Russia’s security and its free, sovereign development.

Incorporating our real combat experience, we will continue to strengthen the Armed Forces in every possible way, including ongoing re-equipping and modernisation efforts.
