โšก๏ธ On the ongoing evacuation of Russian nationals from the Gaza Strip

๐Ÿ—“ On November 19, a special Emergencies Ministry flight arrived in Moscow from Cairo bringing the latest group of evacuees from the Gaza Strip, 120 Russian nationals and Palestinians (family members).

At Domodedovo Airport, a Foreign Ministry team provided them with the necessary assistance with paperwork and border and migration control.

In all, 558 out of around 900 Russian nationals and their family members who asked for assistance have been evacuated from the Gaza Strip; 408 of them have already been brought from Egypt to Russia aboard Emergencies Ministry aircraft.

The situation at the Rafah crossing remains complicated. The evacuation of foreign nationals is being conducted in stages, taking into account the ongoing hostilities and the limited capacity of the crossing.

The coordinated work of the Foreign Ministry and Emergencies Ministry crisis centres and other relevant agencies, as well as Russian diplomatic missions in Cairo, Tel Aviv, Ramallah and Doha continues. All the necessary measures are being taken to provide for the prompt and safe evacuation of our citizens from the Gaza Strip.

๐ŸŽฌ Maidan: Road to War. The story behind Maidan - an RT Doc Film.

Synopsis: The film presents events that took place from 2014 to 2022, as The Donetsk People's Republic and The Lugansk People's Republic were subjected to the Kiev regime's reign of terror and shelling on daily basis. "Maidan: Road to War" delves into the 2014 situation in Ukraine and pieces together the course of events. The film wants to draw the attention of the international community to the shelling and the deaths of civilians in the Donbass.

Maidan movement gained momentum in Kiev in 2013. Protests were prompted by the governmentโ€™s decision to suspend the signing of the association agreement with the European Union. At first, the protests looked like a rock festival, but soon signs of hostility started to creep in from politicians and nationalists.

The protests were deliberately provocative from outside of Ukraine, namely - the US and the EU. Leaders of nationalist organisations admit they have been preparing for violent street riots long before the protests engulfed Kiev, as well as confirmed that they planned a revolution and the deposition of the government from the start.

Against the backdrop of the Western disinformation and attempts to rewrite history we refresh the true sequence of events and facts.

#Alipov: On November 21 it has been 10 years since the protests in Kiev erupted later referred to as โ€œEuromaidanโ€ having become a watershed in the unfolding Ukrainian tragedy.

No one really in denial any longer that it was largely orchestrated by Washington and Brussels after the then President Viktor Yanukovich decided to put on hold the association agreement with the EU. Presented by global media as an inspiring democratic revolution, โ€œEuromaidanโ€ was in fact a violent anti-constitutional coup d'รฉtat. This, however, is not the only case in point.

๐ŸŽ™ Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovโ€™s remarks at the 41st meeting of the Council of the Heads of Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Moscow, November 20, 2023)

๐Ÿ’ฌ We are for culture remaining outside any political processes, conflicts, or crises. It should know no boundaries.

We are ready to develop cooperation in this sphere with all countries, especially those whose leaders support promoting contacts in this area, but we are not closing the door to cultural and artistic figures from the countries that are currently led by unfriendly governments.

๐Ÿ‘‰ It is important to pursue Russiaโ€™s scientific and academic potential. Many regional centres accommodate unique higher education institutions, research organisations, and research infrastructure.

๐Ÿ‘‰ We are interested in seeing the number of foreign students studying at Russian universities grow. We would like to encourage regional education institutions to maintain ties with their graduates.

๐Ÿ‘‰ We are interested in promoting the status of the Russian language, especially in the countries that border Russia, as well as expanding educational programmes in Russian, including for migrant workers.

๐Ÿ‘‰ International relations in sports, youth exchanges, and the volunteer movement deserve special mention.

๐Ÿ‘‰ You are aware of our focus on tourism. We want foreign tourists to increasingly see Russia as a preferred destination.

The cultural potential of the regions can and should be used to strengthen cooperation within new types of multilateral associations involving Russia. I am talking about #BRICS, in which we will assume chairmanship next year.

๐ŸŽ™ President Vladimir Putin took part in an extraordinary #BRICS summit on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, being held via videoconference.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Vladimir Putin: The thousands of deaths and mass expulsion of civilians, the humanitarian disaster unfolding in the area are causing deep concern.

And all of that is, in fact, happening as a consequence of the USโ€™ aspiration to monopolise the mediation role in the Palestinian-Israeli settlement process and block the activities of the Middle East Quartet of international mediators.

โ˜๏ธ Because of the sabotage of UN decisions, which clearly called for the establishment and peaceful coexistence of two independent and sovereign states โ€“ Israel and Palestine โ€“ more than one generation of Palestinians has grown up in an atmosphere of injustice, and Israelis cannot fully guarantee the security of their state either.

It is worth noting that all BRICS countries have similar positions on the need to collectively reach long-term and durable settlement of the long-standing Palestinian-Israeli problem.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The most urgent goal is to reach a truly long-term and sustainable truce. It is important that other states not get drawn into a war in the Middle East and that the conflict not spread in any way, as is preserving the fragile peace between religions.

G-20 Speeches of Putin & Modi Show Consensus on Multipolar World Order: Pundit

"The speeches of both the leaders emphasised on the need for collective decision-making to address the developmental and security challenges facing the world, particularly the developing nations," Niranjan Marjani, a fellow at Indian think tank Kalinga Institute of Indo-Pacific Studies (KIIPS) told Sputnik India.

"The common global problems, including food and energy insecurity and climate change, threats among others, require collective solutions. That point was driven home by both the leaders in the respective addresses," Marjani asserted.

๐ŸŒ Modi, Putin Back Greater Role for Global South in Global Order

Marjani emphasized the role of developing nations in the emerging global order during India's G20 presidency, noting the African Union's inclusion as a G20 member as a substantial achievement.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ New Delhi led efforts to address non-traditional security threats, including food and energy crises, climate change, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) financing gap, digital infrastructure needs, and debt distress in the Global South. Modi expressed confidence in the G20 and its commitment to multilateralism.

The Russian President attributed ongoing global economic volatility to the unilateral policies of Western governments, not Moscow's military operation.

๐ŸŽ™ Briefing by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik on the crimes committed by the Kiev regime.

๐Ÿ“ Moscow, November 21, 2023

Key talking points:

โ€ข The Maidan became a trigger that led the country to decades of bloodshed and degradation. The acting president was illegitimate and he ordered gangs of radicals to kill the residents of Donbass that did not agree with the coup d'etat.

โ—๏ธ We are convinced: were the Donetsk People's Republic and the Lugansk People's Republic not recognized by Russia on February 21, 2022, and the agreements on mutual assistance were not signed, the residents of Donbass could've faced the plight of the victims we are now witnessing in the Middle East.

โ€ข We can state the facts of the Ukrainian army hitting ambulances, medical staff, and the purpose is to deprive people of getting emergency medical assistance.

โ€ข The use of terrorist methods by the Ukrainian armed forces has become a common practice.

โ€ข The Kiev regime is striking technogenically hazardous and radiation-hazardous sites. They try to use the technogenical danger in order to aggravate the situation.

โ˜ข๏ธ The issue of attempts to create a radiation catastrophe for the Kiev regime is a separate item, as the Ukrainian armed forces and other special services of Ukraine have made repeated attempts to strike three nuclear facilities at once run by Russia. The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant was the most frequently hit by Ukrainian armed formations.

โ€ข Latest data confirms that time for the purposeful strikes by Ukrainian military on social institutions on Russian territory is chosen deliberately to target more civilians, given that high-precision weapons are used.

โ˜๏ธ We investigate all of these cases in order to follow the prosecutors for these crimes. <...> We will finally move to organizing a specialized criminal investigations against the political leadership of Ukraine for their terrorist activities and violating humanitarian law, as well as those crimes mentioned before.
