⚡️ Statement by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on violations of religious rights in Ukraine
⚠️ @sovfedofficial resolutely condemns gross violations of religious rights in Ukraine resulting from the policy of religious intolerance adopted by the Kiev regime.
In fact, the Ukrainian government has been trying to impose on the people of Ukraine a quasi-political structure calling itself the Orthodox Church of Ukraine and created with Western support as an official church. At the same time, the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church is facing persecution with its churches seized, communities facing illegal liquidation proceedings, while its clerics are being stripped of their citizenship and face repression. The recent decision to deprive the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of one of its most sacred sites, Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, is appalling.
The outrage committed against the Quran, the sacred book for Muslims around the world, was a new revolting development along the same lines. This act of vandalism directly results from the policy by the Kiev officials to discriminate against representatives of ethnic and religious communities living in Ukraine.
This policy of the Ukrainian government constitutes a gross violation of the rights of every person to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion, as guaranteed by the fundamental international documents of the United Nations: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief.
❗️ All citizens of the Russian Federation are angered by these developments and refuse to accept them.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry Statement on Finland 🇫🇮 completing the process to join NATO
💬 On April 4, 2023, it was officially declared that all the legal procedures related to Finland becoming a NATO member were completed.
As we have warned on multiple occasions, the Russian Federation will have to respond with military-technical, as well as other measures in order to address national security threats arising from Finland joining NATO.
Specific decisions regarding the build-up of defence capabilities along Russia’s northwestern borders will depend on the specific terms on which Finland joins NATO, including the deployment of NATO’s military infrastructure and offensive weapons on its territory.
☝️ The line of contact between NATO and the Russian Federation’s border has more than doubled. This constitutes a major shift for Northern Europe, which used to be one of the most stable regions in the world. The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has made another step to move closer to the territory of Russia.

By joining NATO, Finland has given up on its unique identity and lost its independence, which for decades gave it a special status in international affairs. Helsinki’s policy of military non-alignment has long served its national interests and was a major confidence-building factor in the Baltic region and across the European continent. But now all this has become a thing of the past.
Finland became a minor NATO member without the possibility to influence any decisions. It has lost its ability to have a say in international affairs.
History will tell whether Finland needed to take this ill-conceived step, undertaken by the country’s government without taking into consideration what the people think about it by holding a referendum and carefully examining the consequences of NATO membership. We strongly believe that this is the case.
❗️ Finland’s accession to NATO will have a negative effect on the bilateral relations between Russia and Finland.

⚡️Joint Coordination Headquarters of Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine
❗️According to the available information, confirmed by several independent sources, a large-scale provocation is being prepared under the leadership of the Ukrainian president's office aimed at discrediting the Russian Federation on the international scene.
◽️ In order to distract the attention of the international community from the facts of numerous war crimes committed by the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and militants of nationalist formations published by the UN, Kiev regime has planned a special information campaign.
◽️ For its implementation, within the last two weeks, in Akhtyrka in Sumy region, an allegedly ‘advanced defence line of the AFU on the line of contact with the Russian troops’ has been prepared.
◽️ The bodies and remains of dead Ukrainian servicemen, whose deaths allegedly occurred as a result of hit by ‘Russian’ artillery ammunition filled with ‘poisonous substances’, are planned to be delivered to the equipped pseudo-positions.
◽️ Kiev regime envisages the treatment of this area and the remains of the Ukrainian servicemen with a poisonous substance. This will allow invited experts from the Western countries currently on Ukrainian territory to document the alleged ‘use of 'chemical weapons' by the Russian armed forces’.
◽️ To make the provocation more plausible, Ukraine's special services have been instructed to prepare and publish on social media fake radio intercepts allegedly discussed by Russian servicemen preparing to use ‘chemical weapons’, as well as fabricated orders to receive special ammunition for Grad MLRS units.
◽️ According to Kiev regime's intention, this provocation will make it possible to launch another media campaign to discredit the Russian Federation in the Western media, including an attempt to initiate UN Security Council meeting with accusations against the Russian Federation .

🇮🇳🇷🇺 "Indian producers have expressed their willingness to participate in full-scale tours of Russia: in particular, foreign filmmakers have shown particular interest in the possibility of filming in Moscow, Khanty-Mansiysk, Kaliningrad, as well as in other regions of Russia," the ministry's press service said.
